Aisha was almost to the portal, arms tightly clenched around herself for her own comfort when she heard Amrita's call. This perked the dread-headed ghoul and her orange eyes darted around looking for her friend. "I'm here!" He voice was almost desperate, hand shooting upwards over the heads until she could weave her way to the other undead. "I'm here.. yea. Are you ok?" She smiled, or tried, against the uneasiness in her gut.

The portals were in view, so close as were a few of the other students ready to just leave just like her. But she too heard her name called like a few of the others and she turned to see where it had come from. A bit of looking about finally lead her to spotting Amrita in the small crowd, with a few others around her.
Despite her resolve to go home, she found herself turning and heading in a different direction; towards the patchwork and the growing little group. She said nothing of her condition, her face probably explained enough as it was.

The two ghouls came over to her through the crowd, and Amrita watched them both, her gaze shifting from one to the other until they stood in front of her, both miserable but only one of them trying to hide it.
"I'm okay." Which was a lie. She was far from okay. She wanted to sleep, and to forget. But until then, she had to pretend that there was nothing wrong, as she always did. The Patchwork offered the ghouls a smile, but Maple's absolutely abysmal expression tore at her unbeating heart. When she looked at the pair of them, she saw herself; scared, small, but trying. Now she understood why Lizzy always acted the way she did. She simply couldn't help it. She reached out, wrapping her arms around the little witch, pulling her close for a tight hug.
"You did very well! I'm so proud of you." She murmured to Maple, though didn't try to keep what she was saying a secret. A backwards hand rubbed her back in an attempt to comfort her, and after a moment she lifted one of them, offering Aisha to join them. "-Both of you." She amended, waving her fingers like she fully expected her fellow undead to join the hug.

Aisha watched Amrita's face carefully. She saw her trying to be strong but there was a flicker there that reassured that this wasn't okay. Perhaps at Amity things like this were normal but it seemed that the students didn't enjoy it. It didn't mean that they rolled over though, and that was something the zombie still had to learn. She watched the ghouls hug, rubbing her own arms a moment with a bit of a guilty look. Her eyes darted away as if she were invading on some personal moment that she had no place in. She sighed, her orange breath wisping reassuringly. Already the cuts and bruises she'd gotten were healing under her loas care. She rubbed one idly on her hand until she saw Amrita's reaching arm. The dreadlocked ghoul almost clung to the pair immediately, mashing herself and many layers of clothes into the mix. She trembled slightly as she sighed to them both, "How do you guys.. do this all the time?"

Night padded over to his mistress, jumping up on her shoulders as she spoke to the two young girls and rubbing his head against hers.
"I won't leave you!" The small feline chirped, "Horseman aren't as fun as you areeeeeeee."

Maple took the hug in earnest, because it felt like something she really needed at the moment. The whole ordeal within the building, the desert and the tower itself; those chambers being the worst of it, that black lock breaking and just unraveling some horrible memories she wanted done and AJ attacking her. Yeah, it was just a bit much. The witch leaned into the older ghoul and simply let out a whimper, still not daring to cry then and there.
Maybe it was that nightmare too, in a way, that let her take in Amrita's words and not simply toss them away as she always did; accept them, someone was proud of her even for a small thing she might have done (she didn't think she did much, or maybe it was simply surviving).
Aisha's question didn't get answered by the small ghoul. Really, she couldn't answer it, she honestly had no idea. How she managed to get back to school at all in one physical piece seemed almost amazing really, mentally though was another question and this time seemed to be the worst of it. So, she remained silent and just stood there, raising her hands in time to wrap around Amrita as the other Undead joined in. Followed by the cat. It was nice, even if it was a little uncomfortable now. (Two Undead, it didn't smell so nice :C ).
