History
The only child of Ravenstone and Nightgaze, her kithood was fairly normal. Her mother was witty albeit restless, and her father was loving. He was a bit stern, even then, but she can remember how much he'd purr and the fact that he COULD be fun. That ended the full moon when Nightgaze died on the Thunderpath. Motherless, and with Ravenstone's heart as hard as, well, stone, Midnightpelt had to learn to buck up quickly. Especially since Ravenstone shouldered his way in to being her mentor. She would never be out of his sight.
Even as a warrior, she fears failure and disappointment. She strives for perfection, which robs her of some of her sense of humor. The Clan becomes everything else, and dilly-dallying will not be tolerated. That said, when she has no reason to be a total stick in the mud, she doesn't TRY to be one.
It's just hard when you're used to being smothered all your life.

History
Ricochet's been on his own for as long as he can remember. While he doesn't have many memories of her, his mother was a kittypet-gone-rogue, but draws a blank when it comes to who his father was or if he had any siblings. As far as he's concerned, he just kind of came out of the trash and has lived among it ever since.
As an adolescent, he fell into a pen with a very aggressive dog. Ricochet barely got away alive, but certainly lost his leg. He has vague memories of twolegs and being in a crate, but it's all very fuzzy. Ever since, he's vowed to never make a mistake again...even if it's incredibly hard to do so with a missing arm.
