Ah, there she was.
Medea in all her glory had finally appeared once more, and with her voice came great tidings for horsemen. He listened, crimson eyes careful as he felt his body flash black to normal. Red fabrics and blackened skin flowed back to pelts and furs. His flesh was once again tan, back to normal.
Even with the wardrobe change, her words also brought power. He felt it, welcomed it. He even gave out a laugh, as the feeling of battle swarmed his senses until he was drunk with bloodlust. A second later his sword was summoned, the top sinking into the softened ground easily.
Elric didn't need to wait long. The first sign of a flash of white coat, and his sword was swinging in that direction.

The head butt caught her high in the stomach, just below her rib cage, knocking the wind out of her more then actually hurting her in any way. With a snarl, she beat her wings, aiming to strike him with a face full of feathers, more a blinding tactic then anything else. Then, with her second blade desummoned, she held the larger sword in a two handed grip, and swung it down at an angle, aiming to catch him on the shoulder of his sword wielding arm.

Shun caught some movement nearby and was soon on the defensive as he found another horsemen assaulting him. Between the two of them, he managed to avoid anything really substantial for the time being, but the odds were stacking up against him now.
He took a step back, watching the two for a moment. While Aeron was getting kissed by a Conquest horsemen, he made his move against the Death Guardian, trying to take advantage of that moment, attempting to drive both his daggers into his body. As he did this, his signet gave off a few shadowed wisps as he began to tap into its power, getting ready for a follow up strike.

The shadowy wisps soon overtook his daggers and Shun was now moving considerably faster than he was a moment ago. He planted a foot down, swiftly turning on his heel to face the War horseman that had struck him. From there, the reaper pushed off, lunging at Shikoba, slashing towards the war's chest.

Turning his head, he spit as the feathers smacked him in the face.
Her next attack though was easy enough to anticipate. Zascha twisted his body so that her sword came down on his armored shoulder. He could still wield his spear with one arm but two usable arms was always an advantage.
He leaned his body weight into the sword before pushing himself back with his feet. Lucky enough for him Moon Hunters had that lovely little ability of healing know how and he used what he knew, limited as it was, to give himself a little boost in the small window of time he had before her next attack.
"Not bad..." Zascha rotated his arm to assess it's mobility. A small smirk curling the corner of his mouth as he flashed white teeth.

She had lost herself and wandered--and now that they were on the battlefield, as the shadow had rattled with enthusiasm for the coming revenge, Piper felt true fear. The platform shook as they walked but it did not seem to deter her captor, finger already on the trigger of the weapon the mage had become. Her limited consciousness allowed her to see the sky break open into colors, and in short she was frightened.
The lady spoke in a terrible voice that hurt their ears, and as energy whiplashed around them Piper found herself back to her regular form in a blink, shaking and shuddering on the ground. Easy prey, something told her at the back of her head, but she couldn't move, didn't dare look up for a few moments as she caught her breath.

He was grudgingly impressed at the target's speed, forced back with a grunt as he lifted an arm to take the edge off the strike with his bracer; he wasn't so much, however, that Lan's choice during a very important battle was to distract one of the combatants. But then, he had never believed her to be good at anything save for honeyed words.
His dagger morphed into a pair of hook swords as he took a large leap, aided by a beat of his wings, and struck out once, to attack, twice, to attempt to trip the boil up.

Eye watched the battle, and she felt the desire to give into Medea's power and garb a weapon from the ground. She stayed her hand for the moment, unsure what to do, besides right now it seemed that the hunters and horseman were already fighting each other. She kept her eyes sharp in care someone turned to attack her.

Son of a b***h.
Finn was able to shake off the overwhelming amount of fear that had taken a hold of him, just in time to have some god almighty gigantic blade cut through the air towards him, taking him fully in the side and sending him sprawling on the ground with a grunt. Turning his head to the side to peer at his attacker with one cold brown eye, Finn hurriedly pushed himself to his feet, only able to assume that his attacker was one of the fabled and legendary horseman he kept hearing so much about.
a*****e didn't look so special to him, even with the wings, horns, and absolutely fabulously lengthy hair. Lips pulling up into an empty smile, he lifted his weapon in front of himself. He was a moon hunter, not really good for attacking. Perhaps he should have been defending himself from the start and this would not have happened. Not much to be done about it now, however, except to maybe learn from his previous mistakes.
Finn took on a decidedly defensive stance. If Mr. My Little Pony wanted to take him out, it was going to have to ******** work for it.

Much like a phoenix, Medea rose from the ashes of her own deceit to create something truly awful. Chel couldn't even bear to look at the woman, the waves of power being to strong for her.
Instead, she focused her attention to the battlefield that lay before her. Chel was, above all things, a hunter and a sun hunter at that. Her place was the offensive, the attack. She may have had reservations earlier in the secret room, but her little "chat" with Evan made her starkly aware of her position.
She would focus on the horsemen first. They were the first and foremost threat. It was only a coincidence that this one was attacking Shun. Chel shot a single arrow at the man's backside, and taunted him, saying, "Hey! Think they'll let me make a rug out of you when I get back to the island?"

Elric had been expecting to be hit back, he was prepared for it. He eyed the hunter curiously, taking in his appearance for the briefest of seconds. He had no knowledge of 'divisions' in the hunters ranks, he took them all as attackers.
He was not prepared for Finns defensive maneuver.
Someone who had any shred of honor, maybe even a little bit of pity, would not have continued to attack. Elric, unfortunately for Finn, was lacking both of those qualities. He felt the power surging through him, fueling his actions as he without mercy, with more force than his first blow, struck down at finn once more; Their weapons clanging together.

Not bad? Not bad??? Shaheen's lip lifted higher, her golden eyes still glowing softly as they always did. Her wings beat behind her, a steady rhythm that kept her afloat, and before she could stop the man, he seemingly undid a lot of the damage she had done.
That made her angry. Really angry.
With that overwhelming sense of power coursing through her, she attacked again, thrusting her blade towards his stomach.
Her face shifted into a feral grin as she slid closer to him, now just bare inches apart. "No, not good. For you, at least." She whispered, and then laughed as she wrenched the blade back again, hovering above him and cackling like a mad woman.

More blood. That tangy, metallic taste filled his mouth. The pain in his stomach from her blade coupled with the pain in his sides.
He laughed as she spoke. Spitting blood onto the ground, crouching to one knee as he braced himself with one hand on the ground. Zascha laughed even louder as she fluttered away. Laughing with her it seemed, his broad shoulders shook with laughter.
So he was going to die after all. Well that's fine. He could go back and have dessert with Merina a lot sooner than he had planned. The Moon Hunter was fine with that.
Wiping at the blood that collected near the corner of his mouth again, he cocked an eyebrow. "No you see, it is good for me.." Another cough. "In the end you'll end up consumed or dead. Maybe someday perhaps as a nice shiny weapon mounted on a retired Hunter's wall. Perhaps a dainty little bodice dagger. You monsters are all the same, Amity, Horseman. I'm sure they'll find a way eventually."

Lock stumbled in Medea's damage, losing his position next to Shun. The insanity had faded, but the battle raged. A snarl crossed Lock's face, and he armed himself with shadows, Voodoo deferring to him, only due to the severity of the situation.
Shun was attacked by horsemen and Lock took a step forward to help him, but a pink haired hunter had already interfered. It was the one who had protected him earlier in the tower, so Lock left them alone. He kept an eye on the hunter, waiting for a sign of traitorous behavior, but he turned his attentions instead to another horsemen in the area nearby.
Lock wasn't sure where her allegiances lay, so he only threw a very minor shadow dart her way. If there was one thing Lock knew, it was that the hostile horsemen needed to be subdued before they could make any progress on Medea.
"You!" he called to the stray Death horseman he'd seen earlier in the tower. He summoned shadows that wrapped around his arms like gauntlets. "Do you fight with us?"
