Erp... I noticed someone posting a rule about the role-play that said we have to have at least 300 words?
Uh... probably won't be joining because of that... I don't really count my words, and honestly prefer quality to quantity.
Not that it's bad, but...
I was on the fence over this role-play anyways. I guess that's just one of the reasons.

Uh... probably won't be joining because of that... I don't really count my words, and honestly prefer quality to quantity.

Sorry, and hope you guys have fun! I think 300 is just an arbitrary baseline, it's a pretty low number.

Also , rather than insisting that a word count is the only reason you aren't
interested in playing the roleplay , maybe find out if it's a hard limit or if it's
subject to discussion ? A lot of things are still up for development and we're
trying to be open about that .
My opinion is that 300 is a really low number , but that's just me . I went with
it because offhand I thought wow I put a lot of effort into the graphics and
formatting and helping Roy with development for a great and fun story with
an awesome concept ( props to Roy on that one ) . With that in mind , I would
really hate to put all that work in , more work on creating a character , and then
see a grand chunk of one-liners and half-hearted characters to interact with .
That just isn't fun .
But again , it's up for debate , just like magical abilities , ships , kalydium , and
all kinds of other stuff that we sort of kind of just made up .

Yeah that's kind of the main thing, it would just be a little meh to do all the work and then have everyone roll in and be all half-hearted about it, you know
I don't think 300 words is going to become a quantity over quality issue, it's a fair portion of text but it's nothing too crazy. nobody's going to throw you out if you don't have anything to write about, but for the sake of pacing, you've got to sort of, y'know, throw some content in there, that's all
P.S. speaking of "all the work" that's kind of Trance's thing, she has pretty much put together all this cool stuff from the ground-up, so that's awesome.

Yes, props to Roy and Trance; without their efforts and enthusiasm, the idea would just be a passing point in the General Chat Thread. That said, I would gladly create two more characters if the casting list seems starved for awesomeness (I just might). But it's cool; everyone has their RP'ing preferences, and this guild should suffice to satisfy its members' needs. If not this RP, I hope those who've been quoted (and declined) find what they're looking for, here or elsewhere.

Woah, this moved suddenly... Yeah, I might sit this one out a bit. Due to work, I can only post on weekends, and the pacing of this might be too fast for me to keep up with... So I might send a request to join a bit later, but for now, I think I'll wait and see what the pace looks like first. I don't want to get involved just to hold everyone back and keep people waiting. : x
