Calfuray gave the mare a warm look when she stated that she wasn't alone at the moment - although she herself had spent a good bit of time alone on the beach after her accident it hadn't taken her long to be thankful that she was no longer in such a situation. Being alone, in retrospect, had been pretty awful and she found herself somewhat pleased that she was the one able ease Kaikea's loneliness, if only for a little while. "No your not." She agreed softly.
Hearing the other mare agree to return to the herd with her Calfuray tried very hard to contain her excitement "Oh yes, it's very unsafe to travel in storms" She agreed, latching onto the excuse even if it was just that..an excuse. "It's not very far." She told the other mare, starting off down one of the side path's and glancing back to make sure that Kaikea was following. "I need to tell Yakut about her silly flower anyways, she'll have to come up with something else to use for..whatever it was she wanted it for." She stated with a slight rolling of her eyes as she continued down the path.
As promised it was not a very long trip and before long signs of other Soquili were clearly visible and Calfuray set about trying to find Yakut. "She should be here somewhere." She assured Kaikea.

Kaikea couldn't help but smile. It was so good to have someone around and not only that she was going to meet Calfuray's herd and see how herd life works, even if it was only long enough to let the storm pass and allow her to travel safely once more. The thought of setting out on her own again nearly erased all the joy she was feeling. But Kaikea gave her head a bit of a shake to clear those thoughts and began to follow Calfuray. "I hope she's not too disappointed that you weren't able to find the flower."
Kaikea slowed just a bit once they reached the area where there were signs of activity and Soquili presence. She had been invited here to visit by Calfuray but she was still nervous about setting foot into herd territory. But one look at her new friend and Kaikea was able to push those worries and doubts away and followed happily along. She was about to say something to Calfuray when a dark colored mare appeared in the distance. She had expected them to run into a herd member, of course this was their land after all, but this mare had the oddest thing on her head and it made Kaikea pause again in uncertainty.
Yakut had been waiting somewhat patiently for Calfuray's return. There had been others sent out in search for the flower but they had all returned with no sign of the plant. Yakut assured them it was fine and waited for the one who she knew would be successful in the search. The mare had taken longer than expected but Yakut did not worry. Seeing Calfuray emerge from the trees Yakut began to make her way over there just as a new mare stepped into view.
"Let me see, let me see." Yakut said as she moved closer to the pair. "Knew you would be the one to find it." She stated with all confidence as her eyes moved to the stranger.

Taking note of Kaikea's uncertainly Calfuray gave the mare an encouraging look as Yakut rushed towards them, Yakut was weird and Calfuray was sure that given the right circumstances she could be quite dangerous but for the most part..she was pretty harmless really. Just...odd.
"I'm sorry Yakut we looked all over the place but we couldn't find the flower, there weren't any that had the colors you described." She told the mare, somewhat troubled that she had failed when the other mare had clearly had so much confidence in her. Ah well..she had found Kaikea and she supposed that made the ill fated mission more then okay in her book. "But I found Kaikea here and invited her to stay with us for a while, there's a storm coming and surely a mare shouldn't be wandering about in such ill weather.": She stated.

Yakut made a sound to let Calfuray know that she had heard her. She didn't know why the mare was apologizing for not finding the flower, but then again not all the mares in the herd understood what she said every time she spoke. She made a direct path to Kaikea and circled the mare slowly. It was obvious the the newcomer was nervous but Yakut couldn't be bothered in making her feel comfortable, she needed to inspect Calfuray's find. Her eyes roamed over the mare, the colors on her coat, the beads that she wore about her neck.
Nodding her approval Yakut turned to face Calfuray once more. "You have found the flower. Keep her safe, she is yours to protect." With a final glance at Kaikea the Shamaness turned and left the two mares.
Kaikea froze once more as the mare who was now identified as Yakut came up close to her and began to circle her, looking her over. She couldn't help but look towards Calfuray and gave the mare a questioning look. What was going on? This was not quite what she had envisioned happening when she was brought into this herd to visit and wait out the coming storm. Of course the last thing she expected was to hear Yakut call her the flower. She looked over at the strange mare and then back to Calfuray. Kaikea stood in silence as she watched Yakut walk away. Her gaze slowly swung to look at Calfuray. "That was...strange." Hopefully the rest of the herd wasn't like Yakut or else this could be a very odd experience.

Calfuray sighed slightly as Yakut circled Kaikea, but there was no point in asking her to be a bit more respectful - it was Yakut, there was really no telling Yakut anything and given her position in the herd she could pretty much do whatever she wanted anyways. Still she tried to assure Kaikea that it would be alright with reassuring looks while Yakut inspected her.
"Wait what? Yakut..wait!" She plead as the mare walked off but as usual the mare ignored the request, she had done whatever it was she had come to do and hey..at least she wasn't made about the flower. Turning back to Kaikea she laughed slightly to try and reduce the tension Yakut had caused. "Yeah..I don't know about her sometimes, but don't worry she's pretty harmless and surprisingly good when it comes to healing...the rest of the herd is less...eccentric." She assured the mare deciding not to address Yakuts weird statements out loud, afraid that they would scare Kaikea away but she couldn't help but think about them and the words spoken kept tumbling through her mind.

Kaikea looked towards the spot where Yakut had disappeared into the trees and then turned her attention back to Calfuray. Hearing that not all the others in the herd were like Yakut she couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. "I'm glad to hear that." She said, her nervousness starting to slip away. Even so, she hoped that they wouldn't run int Yakut again for a while. "Well...why don't you show me your world."
