YEAH THEY WERE DOING THE THING!!! Dakota high fived the girl back because ******** yeah moon things.
"yeah...yeah there is. I know a man..." Dakota grinned, "I don't know who scooter is but I know a man...He's the new leader of the Mist division. he's got his eyes on the camera's at all times last I heard." Dakota steepled his fingers.
"I have....certain porn things I've been meaning to relocate. We found them in a wall in a hunters room. Smut novels, skin mags like....a whole ******** stash of them." And Dakota was not ashamed to say he had a good amount from the box. There had been other guys like Wilson and Robert (maybe) there to take part of the collection.
"If porn doesn't work, I can be your muscle or something." he grinned again.

"Oh my god, smutty novels? You should donate those to Konstantin's library is what you should do with those." America grinned widely at the thought of explaining some of the flowery dirty language those sorts of books tend to have. "And excuse you, I am my own damn muscle, thanks much. You can be the eye-candy."
Spinning around dramatically, the girl planted a dagger in what looked like a ******** awesome and highly efficient location.

"Kostya would not appreciate the novels." Dakota's grin faltered just a bit, "Actually I don't think Kostya would like me donating anything, plus I'm not allowed to go near him should..." Dakota hesitated, "Mimsy find out or something. She'll take something away from me again." he didn't elaborate and quickly changed subjects.
"Oh yeah? Where's it at girly?" He reached over to poke at her arm, "How come I gotta be the eye candy, not saying I won't be but look at me..." he waved a hand over all of him, "I'm totally meant for that like...work s**t." He blinked and laughed as she stabbed a dagger into the ground too, making two of the four they had placed.
"I think Edith came this way and was like this area is good. We might as well just stick them-" he looked around..."anywhere I guess?"

America went a bit quiet for a few moments, and then asked, "You know Kon's my soulmate honey boo, right? I Kinda take things connected to him pretty ******** seriously so if there's something I should know, you best spill."

Dakota looked over at her pretty surprised.
"I didn't realize Mimsy let someone else close to him." Dakota gave her a curious expression, "You aren't like...one of Mimsy's pawns are you?" he had to make sure before he spilled anything.

America stared at him for a long moment and then explained, "Kon left her last fall. Things are pretty...not so great between them. An ugly, awkward as ******** sort of split as far as I know."

"See now that's not what I expected." Dakota got up, shoving his hands in his pockets and circled around the moon huntress.
"I'm guessing you know the general idea of Mimsy. Not sure if you like her or not but well....let's just say she's a conniving spider and we're all trapped in her web if we get close enough." He ran his hand through his hair. "Back before Mimsy and Kostya had their little split, they were damn near inseparable. And mind you, I was much more carefree. I didn't understand things like personal boundaries or s**t. I still don't but for him, I do."
"At the time, I was actually trying to befriend Mimsy, maybe even more. Like...s**t I was naive? Stupid. I was a stupid kid trying to score with the geeky chick. One of the deals with her was that if I left Kostya alone, because she didn't think I was a good influence on him. He was in moon at the time as well. Anyways it was a deal we made. Anyways I left Kostya alone, Mimsy and I got in this huge argument because she's not the loyalist of hunters here, I took her first kiss and she took my friendship with another hunter, her cousin named Clerise. Although it was my fault too. Needless to say, I stay far away from Mimsy and whatever she deems her. Part of the reason I don't like Robert as much anymore. He's just another puppet for her to string along."
Dakota sighed, "Sorry it's ******** personal drama island. Not sure how Kostya feels about me anymore..." And he would never mention to America that Kostya and Dakota had things in a the SHOWER ROOM ONCE.

Squinting behind her goggles, America considered the information given, but mostly just focused on the Konstantin bits because other people's drama was juicy n'all but she had her priorities. "Huh, well I'll ask him. He's more...he's different about certain things now. Maybe about you too, but maybe not.Send over those books anyway, though." She grinned again, "They'll be fun."
Brushing off her pants, the girl gave the area one last searching look and then stated, "Really not much out here, let's call it done and do something actually useful."

Dakota nodded, "Yeah, I THINK WE'VE SHARED ENOUGH MOON BRO TIME." He grinned. "At least you got some funny stories right? When we get back-"
He frowned, "Yeah...no when we get back to the Island, I'll drop them off. You're in the basement right?"
On a afterthought, he held his arm out for her to take if she wanted. "It's been a pleasure America, let me escort you back to the tents just in case someone comes out here and decides to try to steal you or something. There would be a lot of sad people on the island."
