Leon, while late to the second incident site, arrived in time to find four separate, unrecognizable spiritual pressures that somewhat confirmed his theory that there was more to the Karakura Town incident. Keeping a safe distance from the four figures, Leon skirted the neighborhood until he found someone he did recognize-Jack, the captain of Division 3. It was good to see a friendly face in the aftermath of such a serious assault.
"Hey Jack," Leon greeted her quietly, to keep from calling too much attention to them. The last thing they needed was to fight four opponents. That'd be a death sentence. But even while trying to remain serious, the 13th Division captain couldn't hide his relieved smile. "Good to see you made it out of that alley looking as good as you usually do. Have you learned anything out here?"

Jack was using Bakudo number 26 Kyokkoto hide her presence from the four creatures. Two, what were they called, Arrancar and, two Fullbringers. This wasn’t any good. It sounded to Jack that one of the Arrancar had just declared war on the World of the Living while the Fullbringers and the other Arrancar we about to fight the first one.
That was when Leon Morrison, Captain of Division 13, landed next to Jack, “Hello Leon. You look absolutely dashing today. Perhaps at the end of today you can escort me back to my rooms.” Jack’s flirting lack its usual flair; she was nervous beyond compare, “There’s some type of war going on. I think. I don’t recognize any of the spiritual pressures and, I don’t recognize any of the people. I don’t know if they are allies of foes.” Jack pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear, “We could take them though. I think. We would have to work in perfect tandem. And we would have to use Ban Kai and have our limit released removed. But we could win. If it came to a fight. I think.”
Jack bit her lip. The truth was she wasn’t so sure. She didn’t know the first thing about these Fullbringers or Arrancar. It was very possible the two Captains would lose.
Jack let go of her lip, “The best course of action might be to report to the Head-Captain. But by then it might be too late.”

The skull-man's reaction was unexpectedly violent, but his relationship with the living woman had Cillian more intrigued than irritated. The notion of family was one that was foreign to Cillian and the majority of the Hollows of Hueco Mundo. They were solitary creatures created out of fear and isolation and very few of them trusted each other enough to see themselves as anything more than allies. Alas, he had lingered far too long already and another Shinigami had arrived. Though he wasn't afraid of their strength if it came to a battle, their sheer number could become troublesome combined with Arturo's intervention. It was best to make an exit while most of them still had their weapons sheathed. Arturo had already summoned his sword, forcing Cillian to keep all his attention on the other Arrancar and only observe the Fullbringers in his peripheral vision. He knew that it would only take a split moment of inattention to give Arturo the opening needed to wound him.
The woman's offer was interesting, but he had to remind himself of his initial objective: securing Komugichiku. The rest were merely bonuses that he could live without. "Your people may live and come with you, but this place will not be left unscathed," he answered before tapping the air behind him with his fingers. A horizontal line appeared to form a Descorrer large enough to fit 5 grown men. "See it as a trade. I will leave Karakura alone for now, but I will be taking Komugichiku in exchange. You are welcome to follow me if you so wish to, but you best make up your mind quickly."
Cillian than pointed his right index finger at the nearest pole he had set up and began charging a Ceros while he took a step back into the Garganta. "Yes, Arturo. I plan to use that. Do not look so surprised though I must commend you for your ingenuity as it took me over a century to merely skim the surface of your work. I've modified its parts so that I may produce as many anchors as needed so it would be pointless to destroy those I've already set up." With that said, Cillian fired a Cero at the nearest pole, lighting it up with his Cero.
The tip of the pole split open in a cross-like shape as soon as the Cero was fed to it and a red beam of spiritual energy shot out of its open tip to form a column of red light. It broke into three, both exterior parts falling sideways in the direction of an adjacent pole, guided by the Reiatsu the devices were emitting, until all four poles would be linked together by spiritual energy and shooting out a bright column of red. They formed a quadrilateral polygon of light surrounding the village though the last device had been placed too hastily due to the unexpected guests and was slightly slanted, flickering dangerously. It was unstable enough that it may be disabled, but losing one vertex would not interrupt the process. No, in the current state of affair, the best anyone could do was to reduce the damage that will be done. If they have the time, that is.
All things within the perimeter would feel a violent pull on them, as though every cells of their body were being tugged at by an unknown force. Shinigamis, Hollows, Fullbringers, Arrancars and Humans, it mattered not. Cillian was not immune to the happenings either so he began shutting down the Descorrer he had created. The prelude was coming to an end and though what energy and essence Komugichiku provided were nowhere near that of Karakura, it was still a huge step for the Hollows-no, for the Arrancars.
xxxxxTurning towards Cillian and then towards Xcution, she then smiled. "He makes a hard offer, but I'd rather spare some, over all. Dominic, it's time we seek real power." She stated firmly. Bellatrix thought that from Cillian it was possible for Xcution to gain knowledge of the world. "Well, I guess this city is better than losing Karakura or home town. Let's go Xcution. Cillian has a better deal." Waving at Arturo, she then used Bringer Light to jump into the descorrer, following Cillian. Ittou and Hiruki followed her, knowing that their leader's decision was the most wise.
Like a tamed dog the walking corpse lowered his weapon at the order of his sister, she had used his weakness against her, the sisterly charm was something he was unable to get over, he always had to listen. He decided to shut his mouth and let Bellatrix sort things out, she always chose the most beneficial path for them and he trusted her judgement, as he waited he decided upon enjoying his pipe a little longer. He listened into the conversation more carefully now hearing all Cillian had to say, despite Dominic's earlier attitude and harsh words he was beginning to become a little more respectful of the hollow-human hybrid. Much like Dominic he was the kind of personality which chose actions over words, giving Bellatrix an offer she couldn't refuse and giving her less than a few moments to mull it over, he liked the style of this strange creature before him more and more with each passing second. Sensing that like the power of the fullbringers these strange hollow-humans had powers more directly related to hollow than that of the robed men and women he fought alongside earlier, he couldn't help but agree with his sisters choice when she ordered them all to join the blond. Using Bringer Light the skeleton was able to catch the descorrer before it closed off the area, he felt he had made a sound decision as he could feel a strange ominous aura about him and the area that made him sick.
Once through he stood alongside Bellatrix, Itou, Hiruki, and the new accomplice they had made Cillian, most might be skeptical about his proposal but no matter how he looked at it they had the upper hand, four versus one didn't bode well for the blond no matter who he was. Plus with power like what Dominic was experiencing before he entered this man could have attacked them much sooner, he clearly had no intentions of doing so, the tall human male didn't understand why the hollow hybrid decided upon restraint as it had never been one of Dominic's strongpoints but he didn't question it, keeping his mouth closed for once and just letting Bellatrix take control of the situation, the idea of possibly finding more power with this new arrival excited Dominic, the stronger he became the more destructive he could get after all. "No matter what I might have said earlier.. you're powerful and I can respect that... even if you're no ordinary hollow I still want to fight you sometime just to see what else you can do" Dominic finished, he was excited at the idea of attacking both Arturo and Cillian however that chance had passed, his earlier choice of weapon had disintegrated back into his skin as he no longer had a need for it with the threat level decreasing so greatly around him, it didn't mean he wasn't wanting a brawl but he could at least wait for another more appropriate time to test out these strange new beasts.

Arturo Plateado The Former Lord of Las Noches
Arturo suspicions about the reason for the distraction had been confirmed by Cillian his former subordinate. Arturo was surprised yet impressed that a Cillian had even managed to modify the device let alone figure out how it worked, although Aturo did keep it in mind that it was possible Cillian had discovered some notes he may have had outside of his journal which it self had been lost long ago during the rebellion of Las Noches.
Arturo merely stood and watched as Cillian began to slowly vanish as Cillian began closing Descorrer, making his departure along with the members of Xcution who they themselves had made arturo curious as they had Cillian though the latter was clearly more interested as he had opted to take them with him to hueco mundo.
When Cillian and the Xcution group were finally gone it was then arturo decide to take his leave with the knowledge of what would soon occur in the small village and he would rather not be present when it occurred. "I applaud you Cillian you were always one of my favourites of all the arrancar I created you would be the only one I could think of able to pull something of this magnitude" Arturo muttered slowly to himself while he left using sonido to escape the town masking his reiatsu to insure he wasn't followed.

Jack looked around in horror as the town became enclosed in a quadrilateral of red spiritual pressure. She could feel the tug on her soul. If the enclosed area remained every Soul in area would be ripped to shreds. She saw one of the way flicker. Jack saw the misaglin corner.
Jack pointed it out, “I guess it’s too late! The corners must have anchors. I’m headed over there Captain Morrison. Pick another corner and destroy the anchor there.”
Jack flashed to the unsteady corner. It was letting out dangerous amounts of spiritual pressure. Jack landed at the very edge of the area. It was as close as she dare get. She was relieved to see that she was right; there was an anchor.
Jack screamed, “Stain it red, Chimamire no Yuki!”
Jack didn’t was time before pulling her bow string back to her ear. She sent nine Ya no Chi bolts at the target. They were all spot one but they simply weren’t enough. Jack quickly followed with nine Ya no Kōri bolts. At last Jack saw a result.
The anchor began to splinter and crack. One of the walls faltered as the shape became came a triangle. Jack fell to her knees. Two seconds, she would give herself two seconds before heading to destroy another anchor. Luckily the shape seemed even more unstable.
Jack pushed herself to her shaky feet. This barrier was leaching spiritual pressure. Jack didn’t have time to waste if she wanted to have enough spiritual pressure to destroy all of the anchors.

Jack flirted with Leon as he expected, though her lack of enthusiasm signaled that the seriousness of the situation was starting to set in for both of them. Yet he couldn't help but smile; the Archer of Death was dead set on bedding anyone she could get her cute little hands on, no matter the situation. Her dedication was something to admire.
"Y'know, I might just take you up on that. I can put off paperwork for another night." Leon grinned and winked at her before returning his attention back to the humans and Arrancar having their discussion. "Reporting back might be the best decision. The Head-Captain ought to know what happened here and what we saw..."
But their discussion too entirely too long, and right before his eyes Leon watched the small neighborhood of Komugichiku become enclosed in red spiritual pressure that seemed to yank and pull at his very life essence, making him feel weaker with each passing second. Luckily for him, Jack seemed to notice the unstable anchors before he did, and came up with the brilliant plan of breaking them to set the town free. Giving her a quick nod to show that he understood Leon shunpoed away, finding the corner opposite of Jack to start demolishing.
"Know the power of those left behind, Dōbutsu no ikari!" Leon shouted, the metal of his zanpakuto slithering up his exposed skin to form glittering scales, vaguely reminiscent of a lizard. Balling his fists up tightly, the captain began to hammer away at the anchor, each solid connection shaking his very bones as he poured every ounce of strength he could muster into breaking down the anchor. As Leon began to weaken, the anchor started to give way, breaking apart under the stress until finally it fell apart, weakening the barrier further. Jack had managed to accomplish the same feat, leaving two more left to rescue the souls of Komugichiku.
"Uh Jack, I hate to sound negative, but I'm not feeling so hot, and I don't think we'll be able to take out the other two anchors in time!"Leon called out, his chest heaving slowly as he attempted to reconstitute himself for another assault. It was difficult to manage, but he got to his feet and began to channel the cat spirit next. If he was going to reach the next pillar and retain some strength, he couldn't shunpo over there, making his own leg speed the next best thing.
The Shinigami had successfully shattered two of the poles, leaving only two left. Unfortunately, it was too late to completely stop the transfer even if all four were shattered. The quadrilateral of bright light had turned into a flickering elliptical mass of Reiatsu, its unstable outline lashing out with tendrils of Reiryoku that would wrap themselves around whatever they could seize as though attempting to compensate the lost of two anchors. The transfer had entered its final step, however, and lashed out in a burst of red spiritual energy. There were no detonation, however, no shockwave or debris sent flying outwards. Instead, whatever the light would touch was converted into Reishi and eaten away by billions of small, particle-sized portals leading to Hueco Mundo.
The Shinigamis' valiant efforts were not wasted, however. Once the smoke cleared, they would realize that a small Shinto temple had survived the disaster as well as a few houses closer to the forest line, but should one look for Komugichiku through satellite view, they would only be greeted by a large crater. The village had been wiped off the map. If Las Noches possessed the technology to do that, where would the Arrancars and Hollows hit next?

Jack looked at the desolate crater; her despair rising, “No. No. NO. NO!”
Then Jack fell to her knees and was violently ill. She had failed. The Archer of Death had only felt this kind of despair once before. The connection between then and now caused Jack to start flashing back to days best left forgotten.
In her mind’s eye Jack saw fire and smoke. She could almost feel the summer heat on her skin. A man was coming towards; bigger and stronger than anything Jack could ever hope to be.
“JACK! It’s not real. You killed him!”
Jack softly whispered, “Chimamire no Yuki?”
The Zanpakutō confirmed it, “Yes. Look.”
Jack looked and saw a small Shinto temple. A few other houses on the edge of a forest had survived as well. This battle had not been a victory but, at least it wasn’t a total loss.
Jack shakily got to her feet and stumbled to the temple. She collapsed in front of it and pressed her hands to her eyes. Her elbows were on her knees.
The Captain of Division Three did not notice the Hell Butterfly trying to get her attention. Instead she mourned for every lost Soul. She forced herself to think of icy winters so not to slip back into horrifying memories. Two minutes; she would give herself two minutes to be Just Jack. Then she would be Jack Mallory, Archer of Death, Captain of Division Three, flirt extraordinaire again.

OOC:Did you get my PM? If not I suggest the two of us arrive at the Captains' Meeting last-ish. I sort of what Jack to make a dramatic entrance and we do have a good excuse ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
Leon attempted to channel as fast as he could, but saving Komugichiku seemed to be beyond his-and Jack's-grasp. All of their efforts seemed to go up in smoke as the red spiritual energy disintegrated nearly all of the village they were attempting to rescue, leaving behind little more than a massive crater and the few buildings they managed to spare from an awful demise. Leon's smile was nonexistent; it was hard to remain upbeat and happy when an operation on such a large scale ended up being mostly a failure. His soul sank, and he kept himself from frowning by biting his lip in frustration, trying to understand what he could have changed to save that village.
Jack seemed to be taking it far harder than Leon was, mourning on her hands and knees in front of the temple for the souls they couldn't save. The young captain couldn't blame her. His joyous nature kept him from being emotionally overwhelmed, but he couldn't avoid the guilt that came from losing that many people. Resealing his zanpakuto, Leon sheathed his blade and knelt down next to Jack, setting a comforting hand on her back.
"We did the best we could." Leon said quietly, attempting to ease her worries. "We saved this temple and those houses. It's not much...but for two captains facing difficult odds, we did alright, Jack."
In the midst of calming Jack (and himself) down, a Hell Butterfly grabbed his attention, letting him know that their presence was requested in the meeting hall regarding the attack in Karakura Town. With a slight sigh, Leon nodded and waved the Butterfly away, the message received.
"Hey Jack...we have to get going. Captain's meeting. But when it's over...I could really use a drink." Leon's smile returned, if only slightly. "It's been a pretty rough day. You feel like joining me?"
Stamina:Just about gone.*Health:Fresh*Zanpakuto:Sealed ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
Jack rose to her feet as she gave her bow a flick. She slid her sealed Zanpakutō into the sheath on her back. It was an odd place for a wakizashi sheath expect for the fact that Jack saw it more as quiver for her bow then a sheath for her sword.
Then she pulled it out again as she heard what Leon said, “A Captains’ meeting. The Head-Captain is going to flay me alive for using my Ban Kai in Karakura Town. Then he’ll flay me alive for this.” Jack smiled as much as a smile as she could muster, “I’m going to need that drink.” Jack laughed a small laugh, “In fact I’m going to need more than one. I’ll be delighted to join you.” Jack slid her Zanpakutō into the air, “I'll open the Senkaimon.”
Jack opened the Senkaimon. Jack watched as the two doors opened and two Hell Butterflies came flying out. Jack got ready to head back to the Soul Society.
Then she looked at the crater one last time, “I’m sorry.” Jack barely moved her lips.
Then Jack smiled her customary flirtatious smile at Captain Morrison. However her pain could still be seen in her eyes.
Jack winked, “Come on Captain! We’re late.”
Jack took off to the Soul Society. She slid Chimamire no Yuki into her sheath.

OOC:If you wouldn't mind waiting to post in the Captains' Meeting until I do. It makes sense to me that Jack and Leon come in together. There are eight Captains and as I'm writing this four have reported. So it should be soon. ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
For the first time, Leon could see the woman hidden behind the flirtatious smile that Jack always seemed to put on. It was an interesting but bittersweet discovery to find in the wake of tragedy. Jack took the information he gave her and prepared to leave, opening the Senkaimon. Leon heistated slightly, looking back at the gaping crater the Arrancar had left behind for whatever nefarious purpose they had. Surely the Head-Captain would agree to some sort of plan for retribution. Revenge for the lost, right...?
Jack's urging shook him from his sullen thoughts, prompting him to look back at her and smile. Her smile was infectious, and it didn't take long for him to catch the bug.
"Yeah yeah, I'm coming." Leon chuckled and shook his head, his smile growing as he took steps toward the Senkaimon. Guilt left him with each quiet step, and his typically present grin found its way back to his lips. The time for mourning was over. Now it was time for vengeance, and Leon planned to be on the first in line for it.

In the wake of Komugichiku's disappearance, the whole area has been sealed off. Civilians that survived the fateful day had been relocated elsewhere to be interviewed while specialists of all kinds were ushered past yellow security tape and sworn to secrecy. Still, the press had managed to sneak in and made it a public thing before the Japanese air force could secure the skies above the empty crater.
The area was now surrounded by the military, but the Japanese government had resigned to let select few journalist through to better answer the world's demand for transparency. Still, civilians were strictly forbidden to approach the area and any authorized personnel are to wear biohazard suits despite the absence of any detectable radiation. It could be said that the authorities were at a complete lost as to what had transpired and were no longer taking any chances, stacking one security measure onto another just to protect themselves from lawsuits.
A few camps were scattered in close proximity where experts and specialists ranging from the most advanced forms of science to cryptics and mediums would gather and postulate. Some blamed God, this whole district, Karakura and Naruki included, had been known for supernatural occurrences, some blamed the shifting tectonic plates and some blamed aliens.
Yami Fenix The Charismatic Ceo and Founder of the Fenix Corporation
Yami had arrived along with a private military all belonging to his company he had pull some strings and had somehow gotten the Fenix Corporation special permission to enter the area, his group quickly set to work securing a small area of the arena for investigation while Yami himself was swarmed by the media and journalists all demanding to know his thoughts on the vanishing town which left nothing but a crater. "My thoughts on the matter well right not I'm not to concerned with what caused it or what its reason for happening was all I'm concerned with is getting to the bottom of it so I can help who was affected by it a generous sum has already been donated to those affected by this monstrosity. But if I had to say what I think caused it I'd say Supernatural" Yami put quite a bit of emphasis on Supernatural "Now if you'll excuse me everyone me and my associates have some business to attend to and remember the the Fenix Corporation cares about all of you at home and wishes you will continue to show us your support to us in future, Bye now" Yami waved and grinned at the camera while the press started to make split up and started to interview other important figures at the scene just outside of the restricted area while Yami stayed in his location a small camp of his own set up there, unbeknownst to everyone there the Fenix corporation wasn't there to truly help anyone it was there to see if anything "Supernatural" would show up.
