"Yeah." Otto replied. He'd take revenge the moment he knew he could. "I dunno.." His brows knit together lightly, as if trying to glimpse at something hard to see. "I'd scream at him for daring to live on when she had to die. To tear apart a girl who couldn't fight back. I'd call him a coward. Tell him I look forward to the day he dies inside like I did that day. I wanna see him write in that same pain."

Hrm, interesting. Lex didn't quite know what to do with this. He saw two options; let his anger and thirst for revenge steep and boil over, or circumvent the boy's rage and help him come to terms with what had happened with Nevada. The first option would result, he thought, in a Halloween and Horsemen killing machine, a very good tool for them to have - albeit one that would eventually self-destruct or go up against something too big for it. The second option was more his speed. Lex was nice at the end of the day, not a manipulator. And hell, closure could end up making Otto an even stronger Hunter.
"What would you gain from that, do you think?" He posed softly, taking a sip of coffee. "Would that bring you any closure?"

"No." He answered, "I wouldn't gain anythin' from it. I'm just angry." It would bring him no closure. None at all.

Anger... Lex knew anger well enough. He wasn't an angry person, had never really struggled with anger, but he'd seen it everywhere. Drunken anger, emotional anger, anger from love, anger spurred by hate. Anger was poisonous, destructive, but also an emotional tool that could be harnessed and honed to win a war.
"And this anger, is it good to hold on to? Do you need your anger to continue surviving?"

"No. Not really." Otto had a lot to be angry about, but he was sure it wasn't really imperative to go on with. "It helps when I have to fight, though." Anger was a fantastic motivator for many fights Deus inflicted.

"Mmmm, good." Lex muttered, the pen and paper pad set aside as he leaned forward more, eyebrows and lips narrowed into thin lines. He could influence Otto from here, even in a small way. Otto could let go of his anger, with some persuasion, or Lex could turn him towards more anger.
"What do you want to do with your anger, Otto?" Lex prodded, tilting his head slight. "Do you want to banish it, or harness it?"

"Control of it." Otto murmured. "I don't want it gone. It'd be like somethin's missin' if it was." If he had control, he could use it when it suited him, and maybe he'd be less likely to go off the handle in ill suited situations. No more shooting trainees in the head.

Control, then? Lex could help with that. He'd have to do more research and study of course, but he could help with it.
"Alright, Otto. Control it is." He cleared his throat, prepping another needle full of fluids that would wake the boy up. "I'll have you come back around next week, and we'll see what we can't do about you honing your anger."
The needle quickly found it's mark, and Lex waited for the boy to resume consciousness.

Otto slowly woke from his fuzzy headed half-state of awareness. The session was a bit of a blur. He knew he'd admitted things. He felt a little raw, emotionally. He wondered if this helped Science or something. But more importantly... "Cupcakes."

"Tomorrow." Lex chuckled, ruffling the boy's hair. "They'll even have sprinkles."

"Hrm.. Fine." Otto relented. He'd kind of hoped cupcakes would have just appeared after a job well done, but oh well. All good things to those who wait.
