Molly wanted to cry as she watched some roaches stubbornly cling to Mark's shoe. Like they were Jack and Rose on the end of the Titantic as it was going down. She cringed as she reached down to pluck them off, shuddering despite wearing thick water proof gloves.
Once that foot and leg was clear, she let it drop back into the tub, and then grabbed the other. She repeated the process, scrubbing his pant leg and shoe again. Plucking off anymore Marktanic wanna be survivors.
Just let go, guys, just let go. Move on to a better place.
"Uh..." Molly stared at Mark like he was speaking a foreign language she didn't understand, because he was. "Uh...no..." She squeaked. "I didn't take biology...Um...Mark...? You're not going to die.....I promise..." Molly looked at the bottle, and then beamed, looking back at Mark.
"That's for the roaches!"
She let go of his foot, and then grabbed a bucket. She filled it with water from the tub, and dumped it all over the Death Assistant again. Just to get rid of anymore suds.
"Alright, Mark!" Molly announced, grabbing him by the back of his coat again. "Time to dry you off! Some of the techs in the Life Lab let me borrow a fan to dry you! It was really sweet of them! They were really happy to help!" Like one of those large fans that mimicked hurricane winds.
