Finn managed to knock her off her feet. When Hanna felt herself falling, she threw her weight into it, rolling backwards when she hit the ground and immediately back onto her feet. She attempted an immediate counterstrike, but slashed air, having misjudged distance from the quickness of it all. Oh well, at least she was on her feet? That didn't make her feel any better about her chances currently.
Ego on the line, Hanna decided to fill Finn on a bit of details, if only to soften the bruising on her pride. "I have no recollection of any of it, the month before has been as absent in my mind as it is in my file," she said, shrugging. She wasn't really supposed to be privy to her file, but being in Death had certain benefits, even if admitting she had seen it was something she could receive punishment for. It would be her word against his. "There is always blacked out s**t in people's files, I get it, but mine is concentrated almost entirely in that month -- until the file note, which said it was a weapons malfunction." It was clear from her tone that she didn't believe it, but she didn't expect Finn to believe her conspiracy theory. She had every reason to want to believe this was true; he didn't.
Hanna sighed. "I'm not going to pretend it isn't really ******** embarrassing," she said, shifting Adelphe in her hands idly.
