First one shaking step out of the nest, then another, then the little treat dashed out to sniff his palm for a moment before turning to dash back to safety. Well, trying to at least. Halfway there Tubadiah lost his balance, still unused to his missing limb, and toppled over with a small cry.

"Aw," Al responded instinctively as he moved to scoop the lump of fur up and set him right on his three little feets. "There you go little dude, you probably shouldn't run like that." He shifted to lay flat on the floor in front of the creature. He eyed the candy that was left behind. "But fine. If you don't want it, I'll eat iiit." He held it up to his open mouth tauntingly with exaggerated 'ahh' noises.

Tubadiah gave a small, pathetic cry and then flopped onto the floor once more, this time intentionally as it stared at Al like the world was about to end if he wasn't fed now. Those who spent much time around America when she was hungry would be extremely familiar with the utterly shameless gesture.

Al stared at the mini and it stared back as it threw itself down upon the casket of its fallen brethren. Only really it was the floor and it was over a piece of candy. Al clipped his mouth shut before tryng to hold the candy out for the mini again only now it was between his thumb and forefinger, extended right to the mini's mouth region. At least Al was sure it was his mouth, you can never entirely tell sometimes with something that's made of fear.

The treat took the candy, first cautiously and then quick with greed. Its cheeks pooched out as it chewed before the mouthful was swallowed down and Tubadiah gave Al a pathetically expectant look. After a moment the creature began to shiver.
