The wake of her powerful statement left a heavy silence as he fought with himself. It had been quicker, this time. She should have been less satisfied, but she wasn't. It felt so good to watch him even consider it. She considered it an aphrodisiac, and breathed in the sweet scent of his indecision. That first word was an answer, but the rest of the sentence meant something different. Her eyes softened, much like they would if she were looking at a puppy that had suddenly gotten itself stuck on its back. Poor thing. Poor, sweet, helpless little Otto. She closed the tiny space between their lips, and stole his kiss before he could argue himself away from it. It lasted longer than she'd meant it to. It would be days before she realized why. She remembered that kiss. Pulling away from him enough to take a step back, she slid her hand out from under the sheets, and took his hand. Silently, she pulled him forward, while walking back towards his bedroom. A bedroom which she now knew how to get to by heart.

Otto melted into that kiss. The boiling poison he felt towards Maebe was getting cancelled out, purely because she felt so good. Close, intimate little actions, even of something like a kiss. He wished he had them again, as readily as when he'd had Nevada around. Life without those touches felt empty. Even if it was with Maebe, it was at least with someone. It made him feel whole and human. For now, anyway. That moment, he was nearly brought back to remember the Maebe he'd first met. The Maebe from the other world on New Years. Did that Maebe truly exist somewhere inside? That was bad. He'd let that small wonder in, and it made him want to find her. He wanted to find this small, scared, and human Maebe in the shell he was kissing. He was becoming attached. The kiss broke slowly, leaving him in a light haze of euphoria. He followed, of course. He kind of hated how he let her in. However, was pleasure really so terrible for someone to seek and crave? Even if that pleasure reached embarrassing and shameful levels of passion? He kicked the door close with his heel on the way in.

Her smiles were gone, and reasoning lost its place. He slammed the door with his foot, and she pulled him solemnly back to his bed, because he was more comfortable there. But she didn't want to be comfortable. She wanted to be torn apart and put back together again with mismatched pieces like always. She wasn't looking to be fixed. She was looking to break others, to match herself. It didn't hurt, this time. He didn't pull on her hair hard enough. She didn't feel beads of blood rise to the surface of her skin in the wake of scratching nails. She hadn't angered him enough, before taking her place on top of him, and she paid the unbearable price of pleasure without pain. And a kiss. A hundred of them, but they might as well have been a million. They all still just counted as one. At least his stamina didn't suffer. As many hours as there were climaxes passed them in a blur, until she realized that he'd fallen asleep in her arms, pressed up against her body like a child seeking comfort. Peaceful, spent, and completely unconscious - her hand brushed away the spiky little bangs that stuck to his sweaty forehead, and she looked at the face of content. It was too late before she realized she'd leaned in to press her lips against his forehead. Too late to stop herself, so instead she wiped the salty taste off her lips, and contemplated if she was clever enough to get the hell away from this bed, and this boy, without waking him up. Abandoning ship sounded like the right move.

Why was she in Sun Division again? Every one of her muscles was starting to ache which meant that she'd had another good workout. Peyton was fantastic at what she did but day after day had muscles that had never seen this kind of use protesting. Still, her shots were becoming steadier. She could throw an actual punch without hurting herself. All she wanted to do was grab a nice warm bath and fall face-first into bed until Otto woke her up for dinner. Expecting to see him when she let herself into their (THEIR!! she still wasn't over it) dorm room, the tv being on and the drink sitting on the counter was a bit odd. Shrugging she figured he was in the bathroom himself and she'd have to wait for that bath. Sharing with one was far preferable to sharing with a hundred and there were certainly no actual baths in the communal bathrooms! Thinking nothing of the closed door, still unused to having a roommate who might have wanted to keep her out, she shrugged off her coat as she walked into the bedroom. And was suddenly very much not alone. Freezing in the doorway she took in two pale blondes entwined on the bed, covered rather tastefully, and she had about three specific thoughts: 1) turn around and walk out, 2) strip down to her skivvies and crawl on to cuddle, 3) lean against the doorjamb and smile. Three seemed the most practical choice and so she did just that, unable to stifle her amused snort of laughter. "Uninterested in you, huh?"

She watched the door open, and breathed a sigh of relief when Cami came in. That sigh was cut short into an exasperated huff at the very reminder of what she'd said earlier. She gave Cami the dirtiest of looks, and put her finger to her lips. Then she tried to slide her arms away from Otto, without waking him. He seemed like a heavy sleeper, and that meant she would probably get away without a problem, but when she pulled, she realized that her hand was hooked around in a way that would have required some kind of jolt of his entire body to get her free from. That, or breaking her wrist. She could break her wrist. She could do that. It might be worth it. She looked up at Cami again, her eyes begging for help as she tugged, and tugged, and Otto's body began to shake with the effort. In the end, she managed to free her wrist, in a fantastic turn that simply had Otto rolling completely on top of her. This pinned her, and smothered him between her breasts, but more importantly, looked kind of dirty. Boy, she sure hoped he didn't wake up at that exact moment.

Otto was a very heavy sleeper. Unfortunately, being rocked so much repeatedly as Maebe tried to free her hand was disturbing said deep sleep. Otto groaned after he'd been flipped onto her. His eyes slowly opened, the world fuzzy and hazy. It took a moment to realize his face was cradled within Maebe's ample bosom. Not a bad way to wake up, he supposed. The fact she was still there was much more surprising. Last they'd done it, she'd fled rather quickly, or so it seemed. He'd fallen asleep that time too. He was actually a little happy she hadn't run. His hand lazily stretched up to thread through some of her hair. He didn't even know Cami was in the room with them. "Guess you weren't wrong." He murmured tiredly, referring to what little he remembered at the moment of the conversation that led to them in bed. He forced his head up from her chest, looking at the woman's perfect face with tired and hazy blue eyes. "M'not against this happenin' more often."

Cami was a bad, bad person. Or so she thought in that moment when her first impulse was to pull the phone out of her back pocket and start snapping incriminating photos of Maebe and Otto for a later date. Never to use against her best friend, of course, because she knew he had no idea how she felt about this particular situation. Maebe? Tsk tsk, bad girl! Instead she simply walked closer to the bed, ditching her coat on the bed as she stood close enough to see the affectionate tangle of hair in the former Death hunter's hand. He sounded so happy. Now she was more thankful than ever that her first impulse had not been the one she followed which, actually, was fairly strange. She was regretful she hadn't followed her initial second impulse either which was crawling in to snuggle. It looked warm and so cozy. Cozy in a way she was just a little bit jealous of because she knew that her romp with Maebe had been just that -- a romp. Singular. Cornflower eyes met perfect blue and eyebrows raised questioningly. Now what?

Jesus. God. What the hell. She wanted a minute, just a single minute, to revel in being right. She wanted just a few seconds to sink into the feeling of watching him wake up and not demand she leave, because she was right, and he wanted it. She wanted just one minute.
Instead, she leaned in and pressed a kiss against his lips. Then she sighed. "Okay, but we should invite Cami next time, because she's here right now and really, it's just good table manners."
Internally, she winced, preparing for the aftermath. Externally, she looked unphased, and unwilling to pull away from his lips.

A warm kiss, and his heart melted. For those few moments he was up, everything was perfect. But then she spoke. Otto's eyes widened to saucers. Oh, he was wide awake now. Awake and ready for a heart attack. His head turned over his shoulder, blue eyes looking up at his room mate smiling down at them. No, this was not how he wanted to be seen. He never wanted people seeing him so vulnerable, mushy. Open. Words were lost as he mouth parted without sound. Fear was there. His heart was beating a million beats per second. His face went beet red.

To be fair to the situation Cami had already been tugging at the drawstrings of her sparring pants before she even heard the blonde mention her name. If Maebe hadn't taken things into her own hands the redhead would have announced her presence by crawling into bed in her sports bra and boy shorts, becoming the other half of the Otto Sandwich. Instead Otto turned around to see his roommate tugging her t-shirt over her head, chucking it towards the dirty clothing bin in the corner, and shimmying her pants not far behind. Far less scandalous than either of the two she'd walked in on Camille dropped herself onto the bed, draping an arm over Otto and, as a result his companion, giving him a friendly squeeze that was absolutely a one-armed hug. A kiss of greeting, a small amount of wicked pleasure in the form of friendly revenge, was dropped onto Maebe's cheek. "She's right, you know. If I'd known you guys were planning on a big warm cuddle pile I would have stayed home." Yep, that's it, gloss over the fact that some pretty spectacular sex was being had. That she'd just dropped herself in the middle of. What awkwardness?

There it was. All of that horror in his eyes stole the warm, strange feeling away from the moment, and when he turned to stare at Cami, her eyes rose up to the girl as well, along with a half-hearted grin. She was already undressing, turning what could have been an almost painful reaction into something a little more amusing. She didn't really expect Otto to wrench himself away from the two of them, now.
Though if he did, at least she wouldn't have to blame herself.
Maebe cocked an eyebrow at the kiss on her cheek, and leaned in to pull Cami's lower lip between her teeth, before kissing that, instead. She didn't do cheek kisses in bed. "Well. You've rectified our woeful mistake. Now you can go back to sleep, Otto."
Nobody was going to be going back to sleep.

Wait why was she stripping? Why was she getting into bed with them? What was even happening? Otto's brain overheated, the kiss to the cheek practically making steam shoot from his ears. By the time all was said and done, he was in bed, sandwiched between two beautiful women. What was his life right now? As if he could just go back to sleep. His brain was fizzling out from over thinking, his ears burned from the hot blush burning his face. Was he angry or upset? No. Embarrassed? Hell yes. Otto groaned at their banter, burying his face in his hands as he remained stuck between two warm, soft bodies. Maybe if the universe was kind to him he could pass out from sheer shyness and skip this entire endeavour.

Otto could be so lucky! Whether it was luck to be sandwiched between two women who were playing a bit of a game between themselves to see who would relent first (hint: likely Cami) or luck to potentially pass out from the amount of blood rushing to his head, would remain to be seen. His life was currently a dream that few men ever realized in their lives and hardly ever realized in their most fevered dreams. Cami didn't mind lingering slightly over the extra mile kiss before settling down against the pillows with a contented sound. Well, she was almost face-down in bed and this was definitely better than a bath. She'd ache like a b***h later from tense muscles but there were worse things. Worse things was what it would have taken for her to turn away from this fantastic opportunity to be warm and snuggled against two others. It brought back nice memories of lazy winter afternoons at college when she and her friends had all piled into a big bed, blankets piled on, a fire in the wood stove, laughing and listening to music until they fell asleep. Unfortunately her 'crawling into bed to see what happens next' plan didn't get much further than...crawling into bed. And seeing what happened next. "If Otto's goin' back to sleep does anyone mind if I join him?" Her voice was lazy but at least she was resisting (barely) the urge to pet Otto like a cat. Cami might have needed a few more reminders about personal space. Eventually.

Cami buried into the pillow, and Maebe felt a strange sort of apprehension fill her. This was around the time that porn music should have begun to play, and- And it wasn't. It wasn't anything like that, and that meant that Maebe didn't know what it was. Just a beautiful girl, snuggling for warmth against another girl and her current lover. That didn't make any sense. She couldn't parse what the endgame was. Cami continued to baffle her as she asked if she could fall asleep, and Maebe reached out, running her fingers up Cami's spine. Her voice was steady, laced with amusement, when she spoke - but her thoughts were anything but steady. "I mind. A little." She teased in a breath, as her hand read the curves of Cami's spine like a map. "But I'll forgive you." Though she spoke to the girl, Maebe's eyes were focused on Otto, because his reaction was tangible, and something she understood. She wanted to work with his energy, to feed off of it and make it worse and worse until it was all better again. His blush was even redder than usual, and her other hand reached out to gently rake her fingernails against it. He'd probably never been in a bed with two girls before. She wondered if he fantasized about it. She wondered if he was fantasizing about what could happen, right now. Her eyes bore into his, trying to read his mind. And then she smiled, and it was something no one should ever have been given the chance to see, because it was real. "Go back to sleep. You'll need it." She informed him, cupping his face in her hand and pressing it back down to her chest.

How did Cami expect Otto to sleep like this? With all the anxiety and waterfall of thoughts pouring through his mind, sleep was not something he could focus on. Maebe was talking to Cami, but he found that her eyes were on him. His own stared back, almost attempting to lose himself in them. If he could just pretend it was just himself and one other, he might be able to cope. When she smiled, his thoughts broke apart. It was a smile he'd not really seen Maebe make. It took him by surprise. Maybe there was a real girl inside her. While he wasn't keen to wonder why she thought he'd be needing sleep, it was hard not to feel more comfortable when his face was pressed and hidden within her chest. Like any mammal that sought warmth, he found his there. His rapid heart beat was put at ease for now. A place to hide. A warm sanctuary from his mind. He just never imagined he'd be finding it in Maebe, when his best friend was a mere inch or two away.
