It can be any of those, but typically if your special skill has something to deal with a life skill, then it would be better for your class to be something like that. Like if you had a cooking skill, then your class would be better as a chef. Stuff like that.

Name- Korsall (not keen on sharing his real name) Age- 25 Personality- Somewhat vain, being very proud of his skill, but not above being humble when someone shows they're a worthy combatant. Not exactly openly 'friendly', but isn't actually that bad a guy and has no problem with actually making friends. (Though you have better chances if he sees you as competent) Relatively laid back, enjoying relaxation time every once in a while. Level headed, he tends to think and plan things out rather than act impulsively. Though that isn't to say he won't on the rare occasion pull a 'Leeroy Jenkins' if he manages to get pumped up about something. He is also patient and slow to anger, but this is because he always tries to brush things off and ignore/forget about whatever should be annoying him. Manage to push him too far though, and all that comes rushing back in one big explosion of pissed off. Class- Fighter Special Skill- Howling Octave- 5 high-speed continuous thrusts at the target, followed by a cut downward and then a cut upward, before finally performing a final full force upward cut. Bio- A 'veteran' of the resurfacing VR scene, having been playing dedicatedly for the last 15 years, he's garnered quite a bit of experience with them. He has become quite good at quickly grasping the mechanics and intricacies of the games from the get go and so tended to progress at an accelerated rate compared to other players even during his school years. Things really took off after he graduated from school though. He lives with his semi-wealthy parents who, with the size of their house, aren't exactly concerned with him moving out. Aside from an easy peasy part-time job, he doesn't exactly have many responsibilities and so all that extra time went towards venturing into the numerous VR games out there even more often than before. They were all pretty good, but none ever really had that factor that could keep him playing when a new VR game came out. He was always picking up new ones and abandoning the previous ones. So it was that when he heard about the release of the Cerich Online beta, he dropped his latest game, opened up his wallet once again, and shelled out his not-so-hard-earned money to bring home the game and it's associated VR headset. Appearance-  (About gosh darn time I found something that works in the appearance department!! XD From the first day I expressed interest in joining up in this RP, I've been trying to put something together since I can't exactly use my Kitsune and I don't exactly have any other resources for appearances. Took me FOREVER to find something that sorta covered up the bare shoulders. There aren't NEARLY enough Pauldron or shoulder guard type items on the site! As for the Special Skill bit, turns out I had the wrong thing in mind. As you can see, I got that sorted though. :3 I also hope my Bio is up to par.)

A door opened and slammed shut, though there was no one around to care. Young man who had just finished skipping all his afternoon classes walked to his desk and pulled out a helmet like device. He looked it over a bit before tossing it onto his bed. He went downstairs, opened to fridge grabbed an energy drink and some leftover pizza from the night before. His dad was away on another trip so he had the house to himself. Despite this being a regular thing he never bothered to learn how to cook for himself. He jumped in his bed and looked over the manual that was in the box as he took a sip from the can of monster. After he finished eating he went to his computer and checked the countdown for the game launch. "I guess its almost time to see what all the hype has been about" he said as he laid down and placed the helmet on his head.
"Whats the point of having friends?
All they do is slow you down
and keep your focus away from your own battles"

Class: Archer A Friday night by all accounts she would be out with friends, maybe hit a few pubs, dance, have fun. Instead, after class she had made an excuse that she thought she had a cold coming on, grabbed a pasty after class at one of the local shops and made her way back to her dorm room at her college in Oxford, England. She had better things to do than go out tonight. No, tonight was the launch of Cerich Online and she wasn't going to miss it for the world. She already knew what class she would play-opting for the more familiar and planning to go with archer class, it was one of her favorite classes in any game, then again she practiced archery in real life too, not that she ever told anyone that she did. She turned on her laptop once in her room and heated a cup of tea in the microwave. Sitting down at her computer she quickly typed out a blog post about rumors and the hype of Cerich Online-it wasn't like she hadn't done her research-and paused only occasionally to take a sip of her Earl Gray tea. Ending her post on the following note: And, I'd like to thank the creators of Cerich Online for guaranteeing me a slot in the opening. For those lucky enough to be able to be there for the launch see you in the game soon!Smiling she finished her tea, the beef pasty already completed and she picked up her "ToNerv" gear and flopped down on her bed. A smile on her face as she placed the ToNerv gear on her head and lay down. Waiting for the last minutes to come when the launch would begin.

Fencer ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☽☾ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ❝Even though this game may be dangerous... ╔══════════════╗
Dahlia was on her way home from her club meeting, her hair up in a sweaty ponytail from practice and still in her fencing uniform. She had been too excited to get home to be able to hang out in the cramped locker room and socialize with her teammates. Cars passed by her on the busy street and she continued walking, her mind in other places. It was finally the opening of Cerich online. Dahlia had been one of the lucky winners and had been guaranteed an opening spot along with only a thousand other people from the world population. Odds like that... Well she was an extremely lucky person.
After walking for twenty minutes a large white house stood in the distance. Unable to hide her excitement, a large smile broke out across her face and she ran the rest of the distance. Soon she was standing in front of a large oak door and opening it before peering inside. "I'm home!" she called out, though she knew no one would answer. Stepping inside, she closed and locked the door behind her before going up to her room and changing quickly into a T-shirt and a pair of shorts so she would be more comfortable. Glancing at the clock quickly, she assured herself she would have at least four hours before her parents would be home. Plenty of time to get into the game. Going to her desk, she picked up the headset that was sitting there. Putting the "ToNerv gear over her eyes, she walked back to her bed before laying down and activating the head piece. In a few minutes, she would say the words to start up the connection and link into the world known as Cerich Online.

✮ Rogue ✮ ✮People will betray others... In Japan, a Japanese small girl in high school uniform returns homes from school after finished her homework in the library, she opens the door and knowing her parents weren't home because of work. She takes off her shoes and heading to her room, she opens the door and look at the calender, today is the day that Cerich Online will be launched, and look at the clock. She remains emotionless, but seems excited to play that game and already decide to pick rogue because she believed rogues are similiar to herself from dark past. She still have time before she enters, she change her sailor outfit to LizLisa's white lacy dress and walked out of the room to take a quick snack.
She enters the kitchen and opens the fridges and grab her favorite afternoon snacks, creampuff, and make some hot green tea. A girl walked out of the kitchen to living room, stayed quiet and watch some TV as she turned on, watching the news about official release of Cerich Online. She rose her eyebrow, remembered she bought ToNerve Gear and one of the thousands other people got the game. A girl heard the tea kettle starts to make a noise as she stood up and turn off the TV, heading back to the kitchen and poor the hot water to the mug with tea leaf. She put the tea kettle back to the stove and leave the top open to let the heat dry the water off. She took a sip and look bummed, presumed about her terrible past, remembered about her so-called "friends" betrayed her and called her foolish, worst of all, she lost all of emotion because of them made a rude comment about her "stupid smile". After that, she lost all of the trust, even her parents, whom she trust and talk to, were worried about her, they tried to help her socialize with other kids in her age, but she couldn't because of them, and they gave up after they found out everything. She drank her green tea, until it's empty and look at the clock, it's almost time, but knowing it's her turn to cook the dinner, "It's time to go and enter the Cerich Online, I will play and then log off before seven," she thought and got up clean the dishes. She rush to her room and turn on the computer insert Cerich Online to get it started. She grab her new ToNerv Gear to cover her head, she walked to the bed to lay down, her eyes focus on the ceiling and close her eyes before she spoken out in Japanese accent to start the connection to the new game and she enters the Cerich Online with her player's name: Lisa. ... I don't trust them✮

The day had finally arrived. Cerich Online was set to open it's server gates to it's first round of players. It was a limited release with only one or two copies of the game being available at at any given store worldwide. Not many games got that sort of treatment so hopes were a little higher than usual. Currently he was playing his last few hours of his soon to be previous game, Battle Stars Online. He set an in-game alarm for himself for a couple hours before CO would go live, and when it went off, he bid the game a not particuarly fond farewell and logged out. Regaining proper consciousness in the real world, he stretched long and hard to loosen his muscles back up again. Unplugging and setting aside the BSO headset, he left his room and went out to the kitchen to fetch something to eat before things went live.
He knew he'd be in for a while, he always was when a game first released, so he gathered up a miniature buffet's worth of food from the well stocked fridge and set everything to warm up or cook. While waiting, he fished out his secret weapon from the back of the cupboard. A natural supplement drink that helped the body slowly and more thoroughly process food. It helped him get a solid 8 extra hours of game time in before he started getting hungry again. It always helped him get an even bigger step up against the other players when a game released. When they were leaving to eat and whatnot, he was still going. When the food was ready, he proceeded to chow down and drink up. Once he was finished, he cleaned up and made his way back to his room, checking his watch on the way. It wasn't much longer now. Just enough time to double check the install and make sure everything was ready. Plugging in the 'ToNerve', he went over to his bed and laid down in it. Slipping the 'ToNerve' over his head, he wondered what the game would be like.
Unlike other games, one of the selling points of Cerich Online was how much of a mystery it was. People were constantly going on about how scam-like it sounded. That buying a game you know nothing about is only inviting a waste of money. But even still, people's curiosity was getting the better of them and not a single copy of the game lay unpurchased anywhere in the world. As the game started up, a countdown timer showed up within the display of the 'ToNerve'. Only a couple minutes before the dive would be initiated. He thought to himself, this ought to be a decent challenge for him. It would put his ability to master the mechanics and find the secrets of the game to the test. Just a minute now. The 'ToNerve' was beginning to gently hum as it started to prepare itself for initiating the dive. Possibilities were beginning to float through his mind as to what the game was like. Only a few seconds left... It was time, he thought. Time to tackle the world of Cerich Online. He wondered if this might finally be the game to keep him hooked. And so finally, with a burst of light and color, the 'ToNerve' fully activated and initiated the dive, sending his consciousness into the virtual world. ((Haha, I feel so noobish being the only one without a post format... sweatdrop Oh well. xp ))

THE MAGE _____________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________________ Meanwhile, somewhere in North America, another player was preparing himself. Finishing his meal (simple pasta) and setting the dishes in the dishwasher, he proceeded to approach the bed and computer on the other side of the small apartment. The headset for the new "ToNerv" gear was there. He had been fortunate enough to get into the beta of Cerich Online, which required it. After making a last check for messages and such on his computer (nothing major- just a confirmation of his RSVP for a family gathering the day after next), he began setting it up. "Looks simple enough," he said to himself. Indeed, he was met with no complications and put the headset on. All aboard the hype train. Stretching out a bit before fully lying down, he checked his watch. He would be able to log in soon. He thought about what sort of character build he wanted to pursue. He had to be ready for anything due to the mysterious nature of the game. Anything was possible. Would it be the traditional system, or perhaps something different? Lying back in thought, he waited and prepared himself for a new virtual reality. ((He would know if he looked at my post layout, yes?))

Name- Rilo Age- 24 Personality- Sly and mysterious, Rilo deals in the dark and illegal. He is always calm and manipulative at times, always playing sides against one another in the name of coin. A non trustworthy fellow that always has a secret agenda. Class- Rogue Special Skill- Black Veil: Dark Illusion skill that can only be utilized by those of the dark elf race. User veil's themselves in shadow and can remain undetectable for as long as the users health will allow, can cause death. Bio- Rilo is an a good for nothing twenty-something that lives in the downtown area of Glasgow, Scotland. The 24 year old, that works full time in a shop on the corner, is actually relatively new to the VR gaming scene, only having started a couple years ago. Due to the fact he does not have much of a real life the VR world appeals to him, though some friends would be nice, once. Appearance-

✝Rilo✝ ✝Rogue✝ Rain patted on the window of a small, one bedroom apartment that belonged to a tall and shaggy Scottish man that was currently at the door. The door unlocked and he walked himself inside, dropping all that he had onto the floor. "OH dear, look at the time, I'm going to be late!" he said to himself as he shuffled toward the single bedroom. His computer shown a dim light that wrapped the dark room in a blue hue. He leaned over his computer desk to check "Thank god, it downloaded without an issue" he said to himself as he flopped onto the bed and adorned his VR helmet
and started his link so that he could full dive into Cerich Online. ✝All of your dreams come true, for the right price✝

Player's Class: Archer Special Skill: "Demon's Death Strike" ➳ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ⊙ "Log in now," The university student in Oxford said as the time came and was greeted by the familiar bright rush of lights diving her into the game where she found herself where to set up her character. Sliding her hand through the classes she picked the archer class without a second thought, and soon began to pick out the character traits for her character. Many people felt the need to alter their looks when they dived into an MMO world, but the blogger 342434, wasn't like that. She liked pretty much any game, but MMOs were her favorite because in these worlds she could be the version of herself she never felt completely comfortable with in real life. She could be a more polished version of herself. She could put her long blonde hair up in cute hairstyles without worrying about looking out of place. Instead of worrying about what clothes others would think would look good and would fit in with a day to day life, she could wear whatever she wanted. The MMO versions of herself she always saw as her true self, the one where she didn't have to worry about approval of others on petty things like looks, it was more about skills, and she had been through enough games she knew how best to hone and show off her skills. And in the archer class she was one of the best. Smiling as she thought about it, picking her outfit, and hair style, she made the one notable change to her real life appearance, she switched her blue eyes to brown. And, of course, she chose her typical MMO player name: Dima. Once finished, her character selection the player selection start mode faded around her to black and around her the world began to brighten into view. It was now she was going to officially start the game. A smile formed on her character's face as her right hand tightened on the bow in her hand. ➳⊙ { OOC: Figured Might as Well Half Dive my Character into the game-at least have her set up her player. Not sure how the game world is planned to be set-up looks wise so I figure let someone else figure that one out. Presumably they start in some starter town like Sword Art Online does... sweatdrop } ⊕
