So the jist of the story is that Thera and Cassia together make a whole. Thera is the bringer of death, the decimator of life, while Cassia is the rebirth of life. Both were tasked by their mentors as Annu was being destroyed to teach the ways of the Great Phoenix Mother to those who would listen and to pass on her teachings.
Thera was not supposed to go, all along it was to be Cassia but it was better to send two instead of one just in case. Thera made it to land, and right after she survived the destruction of Annu, the flooding of Kawani happened, so she believed that she could cause nothing but destruction and death. Because of the volcanic eruption on Annu, she has a slight fear of volcanos, which is silly since she is half lava/fire suti. But yet she attempts to face her fear, there she meets a stallion who is different than the ones she has seen at a distance (she has not met many stallions, if any at this point, since all of the people on Annu, at least in the Temple where she lived were all female). This stallion fascinated her; she had a hole in her heart and she thought she knew a way for him to fix that. They made a bargain; he would give her the child she desired to fill that empty void that Cassia had left while he took the other.
She would continue to travel the lands teaching the what she knew of the Phoenix and at the same time look for Cassia. The plan was for me to get Cassia in custom sometime down the road and just say that she had been traveling around Kawani teaching about the Phoenix and believing that the love of her life was dead.
But then today I had a terrible thought while in the car… “What if Cassia didn’t survive?” and then thoughts started to form. I thought of having her reincarnate into Thera’s family as either one of Thera’s kids or grand kids, and right when Thera locked eyes with the tiny foal, she would know what had happened to her beloved Cassia. Thera would still get to have Cassia in her life, except it would be as a family member and not her lovemate, it would be hard on her at first but I think she would end up happy. For she had Cassia in her life, even if she was in a different shape, the soul was the same.

That is the major part of the plot. Their family has been trying to escape the fate that the story weaver or what ever he calls himself put upon their family when one of his minions told their mother the story of the hanging tree. They end up fighting his forces in certain ways and Inanna was in charge of a squirmishing unit, she asked E's love and a few others to go on ahead to scout, they never return. When Inanna herself goes to the spot she sent them all she sees is blood and realizes that none of her scouting force was left alive. When she informed E this caused her sister to break, and head into the downward spiral that leads to the "death" of inanna. I need a stallion or mare, who will stick with Inanna through this, and be by her side. Ah I don't think it lead to anything, they will keep trying to fight him and in doing so become the story that he wanted them to be, so once they stop trying, then that is when he no longer has power over them. It will only be when E realizes that she had been tricked.
Okay, so Inanna's family has some history with the Story Master and I think she was trying to gather info on him but the scouting mission went not according to plan. It resulted in the death (supposed) of the love of Ereshkigal and this caused a deep hatred to build in Inanna's sister. This hatred caused Eresh to kill (or so she believes) her sister and then bury Inanna in the area she called her Sanctuary. The knight will discover the fresh grave undig it and discover that Inanna is still alive, but barely. A herd of healers happens to be near by (Inanna is a lucky mare lol) and she is healed, but the scars of what happened would forever be with her, even if they were no longer seen. I think it will be about this time that Inanna and her knight would go into hidding, unsure of what would happen if Eresh discovered that she had not actually killed Inanna. Utu will probably be trying to talk reason into his sister, not sure if he would know if Eresh "killed" Inanna or not. Later Eresh will discover that her love was not actually dead and feel guilty for what she had done. She had been manipulated by the Story Master, the one who Inanna had been trying to keep a watch on, and the same one that caused stress on the relationship of their parents.

Short Summary of their plotline: ~Azrael is the Dragon Without A Flame, he has been searching for a mare that would fit his need. ~Thera lost in a strange land is filled with guilt at surviving the destruction of Annu and blames herself for the deaths of all those who called the island home. ~The two meet, Thera is what Azrael has been searching for, a mare who could bring fire back into his blood line. ~Thera believes that having a child will chase away the shadows of the past. ~So when the two meet again, she agrees to his terms, promising to give up one of her children to him when the baskets arrived.
----- ~Ryuu and I thought it would be interesting if she gave birth to twins and have the evil twin do something bad someplace and then when the good twin arrived in an area near there, get blamed for the other twins actions. Since neither twin would know that they were a twin, it would be an interesting plot to have.
What are their Parents Personalities? Mother: Thera is the embodiment of fire: fierce, independent, untamed, and fiery. She is constantly moving and filled with vivacious energy. This may make her seem young and impetuous, but she is actually the opposite. She is calm, wise, and understanding. The mare is a contrast between her two selves, the fire and the water; certain aspects of her personality take on the characteristics of the elements. She can be tranquil and tempestuous, fiery and serene. When she is dedicated to a task, she places her full attention on the achievement of a goal. She is loyal to those she considers her friends and would do anything to protect them. Thera’s heart has room for many, but there is only one who she loves with her whole heart and soul. They were separated from each other when Annu was destroyed by the volcano, Thera is unsure if her true mate had survived the decimation and so she continues to search Kawani looking for the one she loves.
Deep down she feels that she is a destroyer, that no matter what she does, she will cause death and destruction to those that she loves, for that is what she was raised to believe. She is the destroyer, the decimator of life, the bringer of death, while Cassia is the rebirth of life, and together they are whole.
Father: Azrael is evil. However, he is not cruel. On the contrary, many would consider him gentle and polite. Logically speaking, he finds it to be a lot more beneficial to be kind (soq are less likely to want to harm him, and more willing to help; and, as herd creatures, he relies on a soq's natural altruism) -- he is only evil in the sense that, once he finds it's no longer to his benefit, he can (and will) turn on a dime. (This is not to say he is "pretending" when he's being nice, as his actions are quite genuine; only that that behavior is conditional on certain factors.) He is very frank about his intents (again, doesn't want a bunch of soq to think badly of him. He travels often so it works to his advantage to have friends in many areas, rather than enemies) and will not lie; if they breed, he will make it clear that he does not intend to stay and that he will take a basket with him. Gives the appearance of having a carefree attitude. Physically strong; he was trained since birth to serve as a loyal guard for his father, Lazarus.

Thera is lonely, she constantly blames herself for the deaths of all those on Annu and believes that having children will distract her from the memories of the past. Truth be told, she is not ready to be a mother, but she does not see any other way to escape from the darkness and despair within her own heart. She hopes that if she has children to love it will make the loss of Cassia easier to bear.
Enter Azrael, the Dragon Without A Flame, they chat he learns about her history, her desire to have a child to rid herself of the loneliness she feels. She is fire, she is what he has been looking for, they part ways, but he keeps tabs on her. They meet again and he talks to her about his offer and his intentions to keep a basket, in her desperation to be happy, Thera agrees to his terms.
What is their family dynamics? One child will go to dad to be raised as he and his father, Lazarus desires and one will go to mom to help rid her of her loneliness. (In the event of a third child, there will need to be a discussion and a choice made by the owner of the baby)
Traditions: Will vary for each parent. Herd/Family culture: Will vary for each parent. Children will not be raised together. Mother will travel teaching those about the Great Phoenix Mother and search for her lost love, while the Father will return to his own father and take one of the baskets with him. Religious Beliefs: -- Thera believes in the Great Phoenix Mother, the goddess of death and rebirth, the circle of life. Thera was raised to believe that she herself represented one of the faces of the Goddess, death and destruction, while her love Cassia represented Rebirth.

Character's Current Personality: "A prince never lacks good reasons to break his promise.”
Vicaire does not possess any virtues, and if he does show signs of them, it will only be as a façade. He prefers to use deceit, treachery, and force to achieve his objectives. Like his mother and elder brother, Vicaire is a master manipulator and uses that skill to fool the weak and the strong alike. He is calculating, conniving, deceptive, and amoral; he will use others as stepping-stones and stain the earth red with their blood in order to obtain his mother’s and his ultimate goal.
To fill his thirst killing he became a Mercenary, a hired guard or warrior to any who have the right price. This allows him to travel and recruit for his mother, and get his anger out by killing those he deems as weak. He is emotionally detached and cynical, which allows him to be patient and careful, waiting for the best opportunity to strike. In order to influence others and mask his true intention, Vicaire uses charm (prince charming vibe, since he is of royal blood he uses it to his advantage in his manipulations), friendliness, self-disclosure (even if most of what he shares is false), and guilt. Only when necessary does he use pressure and threats to achieve what he can usually accomplish with smooth tactics.
The comparison between him and his eldest brother Vortigern is the one thing that angers Vicaire the most, for he knows he will never be equal to him because Vorty is their mother’s favorite. This is the one thing that will cause his façade to crumble, his anger and irritation at being subpar compared to his half-brother will cause him to snap and go into a rage.
His favorite method of killing is using his namesake coated on a sharp blade.
Character's Current History: To prove his loyalty to his mother, she asked him to kill his sister who was weak minded like his father. He did as she asked and made it look like an accident, so when his father came across the body, Vicaire was not suspected in the murder. It was his first killing and the thrill of it would forever change him.
Currently Vicaire is traveling around the land as a hired mercenary at the same time as he searches for those who are gullible, blood thirsty, or dark knights for his mother’s army. The gullible ones will believe any yarn told to them and will swallow that Eve is the rightful heir instead of her sister who is the usurper; blood thirsty for those will be the ones who fight for the sight of blood; Dark knights for they have been trained in the ways of the warrior and will be rewarded nicely should Eve succeed in her mission.
How Does Your Character Get Cursed? He had heard rumors about a powder that grants the soquili who comes in contact with it a berserker like strength and a unquenchable desire to spill blood; since he already had the desire to spill innocent and not so innocent blood, Vicaire becomes tempted with the prospect of strength. This would make him his mother’s favorite and she would cast aside the pathetic Vortigern. He seeks the powder to fulfill his own thirst for power and his mother’s ambition for power. Vicaire traveled fair and wide, seeking the powder that would give him the strength never to find it. Right when he was to give up his quest, he stumbled into a graveyard where a white substance covered the ground. It was a trap to curse the unsuspecting, but to him it was a dark blessing.
How Will Their Personality Change? It will become darker, less willing to accept the weakness of those who follow the light. With his new cloak of darkness he will slowly begin to delve deeper into Madness. His desire to spill blood will increase and he will no longer have that desire to appease his mother, instead of his Great Goddess of Vengeance she will now become the keystone to his past, one that must be destroyed.
How Will It Effect Their Current Plots & Story? • I was going to hold off on him being cursed ICly, since I need to flesh out more of his persona and his mommy/brother issues.
• He will still be a merc after he becomes cursed, but he will no longer be able to travel with caravans until he can get his bloodlust under control and then when that phase was over (with lots of killing to curve the urge) he would continue to manipulate people while at the same time thinking of new creative ways to kill them.
• The plots that would change the most would be between him and his mother; he would see himself now as her superior and she should bow to him, but when she does not cower and continues to treat him like her pawn, something in him will snap.
OOCly -- Why Do You Want Them Cursed? It would make for an interesting plot to have him become cursed to help his mother’s ambition, but once he becomes a walker he no longer desires to be controlled by her. Since she will not see him as her equal, he will try (and maybe succeed, who knows) to kill his mother and show her once and for all that he is no longer her pawn.

Hey! I am completely shocked by how much attention Cian is getting and slightly overwhelmed haha. I feel like he is on an episode of the Bachelor and needs to pick the right mares who to give the rose to.
Let me fill you in on the plot that I had in mind.
So, there is this mare named Eve, she is fair of face but black of heart and hates everything good in the world. One day she came across a family of kalonagryphs, she saw that their talons were sharp enough to rip through flesh. She knew then that she had to have one of the precious baskets that they watched over. In the dead of night she stole the basket with bones and stars.
When he popped from the basket she named him Cian Taran or Ancient Thunder, and made him her son. She manipulated his emotions just like she did with the rest of her children until he was a compliant little minion (well only to her, he was stubborn to anyone else who asked him to do things). He did not know that he was not her true son until one of his "brothers" told him that he was just a peasant in princely dress, he did not possess the Blood of the True Queen in his veins.
The knew knowledge did not sway him, instead it made him care for Eve more since she had taken him in, a child not of her blood and raised him as her own. Eve had lots of skirmishes with those she called "Rebel Scum" who either followed her sister or did not wish to join Eve in her quest for destruction.
So it is during one of these battles that Cian gets injured and is behind enemy lines. This would be when one of the rebels comes in and treats his injuries. He is wary at first, since she is after all the enemy.
After that meeting he will continue to think about the rebel and wish to talk with her again, to learn about what being "good" is all about.
He is thick headed so it will take a while for him to see that what Eve is doing is wrong and that the Rebels/his aunt Gwen are actually fighting for everything Eve wants to destroy.
His brothers or sister will probably end up following him one night and that will lead to some drama (will be interesting to see what happens and how Cian gets out of that pickle).
Cian can end up with the Rebel or just be a fling, it is open to plottage. He just needs to be "saved" from the evil he grew up with.
----- I haven't decided yet on which mare to pick, I think I need to see all their personalities and ask questions about how they would react to the situation I have given above.
What would your mare do? Would she be fighting Eve? Anything else I should know?
