As she waited for the woman's reply, who seemed to have lost her great arm and continued, like Sirantha, to miss the target and hit the unsuspecting but quite deserving crowd (Come on, if they did not want to get hit, they would stand father back), she picked up her third ball. The woman's words were not any help, luck was not a skill, it could not be learned. But Siri nodded her head in thanks and threw the ball she had in her hands at the target. Please... please... please... she closed her eyes... please hit, please hit...

Lenore sighed. She hadn't hit anything the last time, although that was probably for the better. She tried again, and made it abundantly clear that the miss was a fluke as the ball bounced off the ground and clapped the man in the shin.

As the man looked around in pain for the source of his suffering through teary eyes, Lenore was winding up another throw. The ball sailed over the booth and clapped the man in the kneecap.

This time the ball hit a different man, but again this man should not have been with in the range of the flying objects. Did he not learn from the bruises from the other men? Even though she was completely failing at hitting the target, she was having a fun time. She was free from the watchful eye of her father's servants, it had not been this way since she met Green. Sadness filled her, but she quickly pushed it down, today was for fun, sadness could wait. Her forth ball was tossed from hand to hand as she gazed at the target, she bit the inside of her lip as she concentrated on the target. Here it goes. Again the ball flew.
And it made contact with the target with a loud THWACK. The young lad fell into the water and Sirantha jumped into the air, "I did it!"

Henrik really didn't have the greatest aim. He'd never played ball before, and certainly hadn't ever tried to hit a target not much bigger than a dinner plate. However, the big oaf was grinning a little wildly as he stepped up to grab a ball. He inhaled deeply before exhaling softly, narrowing his eyes on the target before winding up.
The ball missed by a mile, and Henrik stepped back from his position, arms crossing over his broad chest as he tried to figure out where he went wrong.

Meanwhile, Ashley has slipped off her seat and is now retrieving the lost balls. It is a great way to burn off energy, and means she'll sleep at night! She zooms over to the basket and deposits the object one, two at a time as needed then promptly goes and takes her seat, giggling and apologizing as people got hit.
"Back upppppp this is the throwing zone!" she wiggled her arms around at the poor guy and his busted shins.

Lenore picked up another ball as the man cursed the walls for his luck, unknowing that the source of his suffering was a 12 year old girl. She threw it. And for once, the ball remained inside the booth. It didn't make the target, however.

Lenore grabbed yet another ball and chucked it at the mechanism. It bounced harmlessly to the ground, missing.

Alec was about to say hello to Henrik, the fellow he'd met from the bonfire but was soon deposited rather suddenly into the water. His mouth opened as he went down, making a bit of a splash. Quickly of course, he was climbing out, and setting back up again. "See? There you go, you got the hang of it!" the red head noted encouragingly sitting back down, ready for the next go around Only knowing she had never thrown before, and had been frustrated.

The boy shook his head, his grin shrinking into a lazy smile. "Well, while I'm here..." He picked up one of the balls, testing its weight before giving it a light toss upwards and catching it, "I promise I'll try my best not to hit you. Just...dodge if you see it coming for you."
Uh. Like now, for instance. Wincing, Elliot leaned back a little as the ball bounced off the other boy's knee.
"...Sorry. I guess that wasn't really something that was easily dodged."

Lenore scowled at her continued missing, but she picked up another ball regardless. Taking aim, she threw it at the mechanism. And missed. Again.

Adalwolfa cracked a few fingers. One of the only things in life she hated more than her current status as the lowly born were wallists. Their constant pontification of the walls were enough to drive her up one. It didn't help either that they were drawn to her like flies to honey. Upon scanning the booths again for some form of entertainment, it felt like a godsend when she came upon a booth offering to dunk one of them. While it miffed her a bit that maybe they weren't actually wallists, the idea in and of itself seemed pleasing.
Nabbing a ball, the grey-haired girl shut one eye and stuck her tongue out as she concentrated on the target. It didn't like much of a challenge, so expending the victim tumbling to the waters below was well worth the expended effort. Winding her arm back, she whipped out and watch the pitch make a sharp curve upward. Would it hit? She was begging that it would,

Sirantha giggled, she had not had this much fun in ages. She watched as the others tried at throwing the ball, they too like her seemed to miss constantly. Her one hit was most likely luck or a fluke, for she did not do anything different that time. She picked up one of the balls the young lass just retrieved. The boy's words made her grin, "We shall see..." With those words she cast the projectile into the air.
And again she made contact with the target! She laughed out loud, "I believe you are right, I do seem to have gotten the hang of it."
