" Constructum. I guess it is." Noah grinned brightly at Al as the tower reconstructed itself, then reached for the next piece. As he pulled it free, the corner brushed against the precarious tower, and the whole thing came topping spectacularly down. Noah had just enough time to look startled before a dart zinged out and caught him behind the ear. He slumped down onto the table. Status Round: 4Pieces Taken: 15 Total Points: 40

The glint had turned into a full blown devilish grin as blocks scattered all over the table. Noah slumped and unconscious. Al had to move fast.
Clack.
He opened the marker and placed it precariously between his teeth. Both hands free, he rose to his feet and approached. Noah's short fuzzy hair was hard to resist and Al just had to touch it. He ran his fingertips along the prickly scalp curiously. Up and down, up and down, up and - oh. What was he meant to be doing again? Oh right.
He retrieved the pen from his mouth and wrote along the side of Noah's head; "Get well soon - ♥ Al" It was about then Al realized that may not have been the pest choice of wording... or, well, symbols, and became quite aware there wasn't much he could do about it now and Noah's breathing seemed different, as if he was going to wake up soon.
Al put the marker away, and placed his hands on the table, perfectly innocent himself.

Noah groaned a little and lifted his head, blinking groggily. "Okay," he said after a moment, making a face and rubbing at his eyes. "Okay, that felt really weird." He gave Al a suspicious look. If Al's expression was anything to judge by, Noah himself hadn't looked innocent at all. "I hope you didn't write anything dirty on my face," he said, and stuck his tongue out at Al, feeling a little childish. "Your turn."

"Good morning sunshine," Al beamed at Noah delightedly. "Nothing terrible at all," he assured though the huge grin taking up the entirety of his face begged to differ.
As it was pointed out to him to be his turn, the grin was wiped off his face. Nerves settled on a razors edge. Can't pass out again. Noah might give him a Hitler mustache next. Good luck working one of those till it faded.
He was sweating and he could swear his fingers were saturated. He carefully removed his blocks and set each one at a time on top. It wobbled - but held. He threw his fists in the air silently. He looked at Noah again, that damn grin was back.
"I already know what I'm going to do to you this time," it was a bluff.

There was a big difference between nothing terrible and nothing, and this nuance was not lost on Noah. He made the I'm watching you gesture at Al and squinted at him with a dramatically suspicious expression, though there was a brightness to his eyes that suggested he was holding back giggles. He watched as Al drew out the next round of pieces, and stayed very still, only pulling an exaggerated silly face as Al took the fifth piece. Either Al didn't notice or it didn't distract him, though, and the tower remained standing after Al's turn. Noah ignored Al's taunt with great dignity and tweaked the final piece necessary for a passing score out of the tower. He held it up with a triumphant grin. "HAH." Then, just to prove that he could, he delicately removed four more to finish out the round, placing each on top with theatrical care. He pointed at Al, grinning. "Nothing, that's what. I have thwarted your evil plan, villain." Status Round: 4Pieces Taken: 20 Total Points: 90

Al sometimes wished Noah was slightly less clever. These were one of those times and he could just feel that look of I know what you did and was very aware he wasn't fooling anyone.
When Noah made a face, and he was sure he was safe at the time, he smooshed his hand in the other boy's face, "cheater." He huffed exaggeratedly. Just for that when Noah went for his piece, Al 'mysteriously' sneezed as loud as he could. Sadly it had no effect as just to show him up - Noah pulled out four more for a perfect score.
Al's mouth fell open and he stared at Noah for a moment, simply dumbfounded.
However, he refused to be bested so even after he turned and took out his winning block... he had to go for another. Then anoth- ow!
The tower had fallen and Al's eyes glazed over. He'd gotten over 50 points in the end - but at what cost? He clearly tried to tell Noah something but it came out as, "youuushulm na dum." Then his forehead hit the table with a loud thunk.
What few blocks remained standing were now leveled by his collapse.

"Bless you," Noah smirked at Al's conveniently timed sneeze. It was not, in fact, cheating. He felt that he was being very reasonable in not being more distracting, really. He put his chin in his hand and leaned on the table, watching Al with a wide, smug smile which diminished not at all when Al managed to knock the tower over after he'd won. He got up and trotted around the table, and did not draw a Hitler-stache. He shook Al's shoulder gently. "You okay man?" (It was a thin and twirly mustache, and he would, if asked, provide the secret for getting marker off skin. If asked nicely.)

Al at the very least was glad Noah wasn't more distracting as he wouldn't be able to handle that in all likeliness. Behave Noah.
Next thing he remembered however, was being gently shaken awake again. He rolled dazedly and looked at Noah with glazed reddened eyes. He looked confused. "... I feel sick." He confessed before finally realizing where he was again, "...did I win?"
He seemed completely unaware he may have been drawn on again.

"You won," Noah told Al, "and you got one more, but then you knocked it over. C'mon, let's get out of here before someone gets bored, you should eat something anyway, the sedative does funny things to your head if you have an empty stomach."

Al threw his arms up wobbily and tried to cheer only it seemed more like a sarcastic 'yaaaaaay'. It was true though as Al had not planned on being darted full of drugs before he came, he had planned on eating after. "What do I geeet?" he smiled dazedly at Noah, eyes still half-lidded as he wrapped an arm across Noah's shoulders to steady himself.

Noah put his arm around Al's shoulders to steady him and guided him toward the stairs. "I think I saw donuts in one of the safe break rooms. Maybe they'll still be there," he said helpfully.

Al's voice went really deep as he repeated, "dough-nuuuuts~"
Then he was making a series of strange faces at his comrade.
He could barely contain his excitement.

Noah giggled. "Weirdo," he said, "are you going to start singing D is for doughnuts next or something?" He patiently steered Al up the stairs as though this kind of thing was an everyday occurrence.

Noah has great ideas! "D is for Dough-nuts that's good enough for meeeeeeee~" His singing was loud, off-key, and completely without any shame.
He repeated that line over and over before as they rounded up the stairs. His voice carried in all directions as he threw in an even louder, "d-nut, d-nut, d-nut starts with Deeee!"
