Molly's shield gave way under the brunt of Dakota's attack, and it's very possible Molly's eyes might have started to water with what this meant.

She de-summoned her weapon, and clasped her hands to her chest. She stared up at Dakota with watery eyes and her bottom lip wibbling. She was trying really hard to not break down in tears right there. "I-if that's what you want." Her voice was incredibly high pitched and nearly inaudible at the end.

Dakota pat Molly on the head, and then drew her in a hug.

"It's okay Molly, it's okay. It's just...a walk." He was not like 10000000000000000000000000000000000000x more curious about why Molly didn't want her weapon up and about.
