Life is full of surprises and things don't always work as you wish, she needed to learn to adapt to things quick, her weapon as well as her hunter life. As a hunter, her life was insecure, if she didn't learn to protect herself, she may die at the next second. Shu didn't want that, she didn't want more people to die from protecting her, she wished she had the ability to protect them in return. That's why even she disliked fighting, she engaged in every chance she got. The tiring and scary spar, the fear when someone dashed towards her, the darkness and loneliness that nearly swallowed her, the endless nightmare that she would wake up in tears.....all these were well received, as a hunter, that's her obligation. A banshee's singing was unique and impressive, Shu was glad that she got the chance to hear that. "What did she sing?" That was her question before she was told it was their turn. Still feeling dizzy, she took the chance to explain the destruction as Z got too excited. Since Roland already took out most of the shadowlings ahead, she only flattened a small one that blocked with an evil grin on her way to the portal. "T-Take this, bad thing." She hammered it as if she was playing that Whack-a-mole game and stepped on it to join Roland who was waiting at the exit. "We did it!" She cheered. Status Wave: 5 Attack Dmg: 1 Total Shadowlings taken out: 33+1=34 Recoveries left: 0 Mission Complete Also!

Roland hadn't bothered to answer what Sylvia was singing, even he wasn't sure what she sang, it was more noise, a single note held long and high that caused pain and chaos. Fighting was there job, and so they fought, they trained, they learned to kill and to protect. At the cost of them selves.
Right now though, he was proud to see the little death trainee stumbling towards him. One hand held out he grabbed onto Shu's tugging her through the portal behind him.
Back on the other side he was grinning happily, "You did well Shu."

"Thank you, I guess not bad for my first run hehe. You did so well~" She giggled with a blush, unsummoned her hammer. "I am a bit hungry, let's go and eat and we can sit down and chat?" She suggested, grabbing Roland's wrist with a head tilt, she'd like a little dessert to reward herself. "Let's go?"

Sylvia vanished with a flick, the weapon settling back into the depths of his head satisfied with the job they had done, it felt good to stretch out like that and really deal some damage.
"I passed it my first time too, when I went with another hunter," he let her take his hand tugging him along nodding to her question if they should go, "We'll have to take you on another training course and see if you go two for two."

"Wow you was that great already when you were a trainee, who was that you went for?" Curious girl asked as she started skipping, humming a cheerful light melody. "I am up to that! Do you have any suggestion? I kinda want to try them all~ Two for two? You mean we do it as a team against another team or - sorry I can't really get that..." Asian girl not too good at English. "By the way, do you think they will have desserts serving now?" That's a question with hope, she really needed to have something sweet immediately.

"I went on the mist course with Candace, I passed that one first time which is like doing all the courses at once but in small doses." He continued with her heading towards the inevitable hope of food, "When I did the sun run it was with Rep." He liked Rep a lot more back then...
"Then I did the moon course with Harrison." He grinned, "The moon course and the mist course have golems you protect and rescue it's interesting. And last I did the life course. That one is.... a lot of fun actually in a messed up way."
He grinned a bit as she didn't understand him patting her on the shoulder once. "It means going on a winning streak, trying two courses and winning two courses. Two for two." The question gave him a pause, "Maybe? Did they ever get the soft ice cream machine we all wanted?"

Candace, Rep and Harrison were names that not new to the trainee. "Candies?" She wasn't sure if she caught the name quite probably, but Rep and Harrison appeared on twitter very frequently, the former was the first one to welcome her on twitter and sometimes gave advice and comments while the latter one cared about them, the trainees quite much, usually warned them of potential dangers. In short, she liked both of them just like the rest of the hunters she knew. Of course she didn't know Rep was the one who nearly chopped off Roland's arm and left the ugly scar on his body, maybe she didn't want to know that. All the courses sounded great, but her interest was drew away by the golems. "Golem?" She wanted to know more, she only heard people mentioned them briefly, she even paused her steps. "Oh oh~ I see....I am up for that! Maybe try the moon or mist next time?" She smiled hopefully, imaging how i would be nice. "ICE CREAM! Did you just say ice-creaaaaaaaaaaaam?!" It would be the best reward after some exercises in summer time. "Let's go and check! OMG!" She tugged his wrist and started to run as she said "Ice cream~ Ice cream~"

"Candace, she's a full Mist hunter, one of the first people in my division and on the island I met after waking up. I'm sure you know the other two, I've seen you talking to them on Twitter." He needed to catch up with Candace himself as it was, they where always off being busy on other ends of the island or world to stop and chat much.
Looking down at Shu he nodded, "Golems, that's what we use to recon Halloween, it's made of dirt runes, some other weird stuff. All in all it looks like a person, acts like a person, but breaks really really easy. Weapons can be put into them too. They have ones made just for our weapons but you need permission to use them."
A chuckle and a wave of the hand followed her ethusiasam, one course a day was enough for Roland, "Another time, for now lets worry about t-" and then she was squealing about ice cream before he could say anything else. Suddenly she was racing ahead of him causing him to pick up the pace to keep up. "W-wait I don't know if we actually have the machine yet!"
It had better be. Or he suspected he would be dealing with a very upset Shu.

Another full hunter. "Candace....Is she a sexy dark skinned lady?" She nodded twice. "Yes I heard of them on twitter, but not yet see them in face." Too many people waiting to meet, yet she didn't have so many time unfortunately. "Recon?" She gave Roland a puzzled look. "Ohhhh do you mean if I want do, I can meet Z face to face?!" That was a surprising news, who don't want to see their weapon and being able to interact or even touch wit them. "P-Permission? From who?" She was very interested and eager to know that. This golem topic was of her interest, she never not loving to know more. "T-T-That's why we have to check!" She was panting as she turned back and grinned at Roland. "I-If they don't have ice cream....they might have other desserts?" She frowned at the idea that there would be no ice-cream for her.

"Umm well yes, dark skinned and um good looking yes." Somehow the word Sexy coming from Shu was just awkward like, no no no no don't say that that's not a word you should use! "You'll meet most of them eventually, it's a small island."
And a small team of supernatural monster killers.
"Recon in the sense we can see what Horsemen or Halloween are up to. A good way to meet people in their world without exposing ourselves and stuff. And yeah, you can meet Z face to face, but you need to get clearance after running missions and stuff." Shuffling along he started to move a little quicker to catch up, "Don't run so fast or you'll just be sick after eating!"

She turned around and used a pity puzzled face to ask the taller hunter: Where's her ice-cream?

"You'll meet her one day, she's a great person." They continued on their way and Roland could only chuckle at the island size joke, "You make it sound like I'm so much bigger then you, I'm pretty small as far as hunters go too." Also that face, that was very un lady like stop taunting and teasing him like that! It also made him wonder; just how old was Shu?
"Careful about wanting to go, it's not all fun and games, there are people in Halloween who want all of us and humanity dead so it's not exactly the best place to just pop in and say hi!"
It was getting hard to keep up, very hard, she was still hopping and sprinting about and it made Ro stumble along because really there was no rush. When they finally arrived Roland's worst fears where confirmed.
They hadn't set up the soft serve yet.
The look he got was not at all easy to handle and Roland promptly started looking around for something kind of like ice cream to make it better. Maybe they had frozen yogurt, oh god that face that face!

No one should ever ask a female's age, same as Roland. He should be glad that he didn't. Bigger? In physical size or regarding hunter experience? For a girl who can get lost easily without the help of a map, the hunter island was really pretty big. She had a lot of places to explore or adventure. She always remember she's a Death hunter and she should get as much information as she can. "I know..." A paused with a pout. "But I have a reason to go. Don't worry, I will be very careful." She smiled to ease him from the worry. Shu was too excited to notice the Roland actually stumbled behind her, the idea of ice-cream was just too nice! Alas, no ice cream for the petite Asian girl that day. While the hunter panicked and looking around, Shu continued to make the sad face at him. Better be quick, she might cry soon, Roland.

Roland did not ask, Roland was a good boy okay? Bigger well in physical size they where both small, in knowledge Roland was winning but in his defense he was trying to help out with her like a good guy! Still they where learning sharing and teaching and hopefully preventing Shu from enduring too much early suffering.
"Alright then, but behave okay? Don't bring to much attention to yourself or reveal what you are unless you have a very good reason too. Just because your not really there doesn't mean you can't feel bad things happening to your golem."
When they finally made it Ro was met with what he feared the most, there was no ice cream. She was looking at him, that face, she was going to cry. Shu please don't cry don't make this more awkward!Moving past Shu he moved into the kitchen and started to rummage about. There had to be SOMETHING in a freezer back here. There was a lot of rummaging and clattering about as he searched. Suddenly he popped up holding a container of Ben and Jerry's cookie and cream.

Roland was surely a good boy, a polite one also. Hunters were meant to suffer ever since they had the ability to see unusual existences, no matter how hard he tried, she had to take it, sooner or later. However, Shu appreciated his effort and liked him for his kindness, though he seemed a bit strict. The petite Asian nodded at his advice sincerely, as a trainee, information was what she desired most. After all, they were different she won't know what attitude each of them would have. When someone gives you hope and take it back, for sure you will feel sad. That was Shu at the moment, she felt the sudden urge to cry it out, the unhappiness piled up within. That, of course not a good thing for Roland. The pity stare just made him ran away in a hurry, which in turn startled Shu. She continued to make the sad stare behind his back until he disappeared behind a door. Z....Am I dumped? The loneliness swallowed her like a big wave and tears were swaying within her eye sockets, just a few seconds and it will drop. Then, the boy reappeared with treasure and a confident face. Shu's attention shifted from his face to what he was holding - The shape looked familiar and the cold stream raising from it... "I-IC-ICE CREAM?!" She yelled and beamed like a star. "Is that ice-cream? You find ice cream?!" She was too delighted that her hope came back and she couldn't help to give him a big glomp, maybe hanging on the hunter because she couldn't touch the ground. Before he could react, she left a kiss on his cheek and then bounced off to waggle happily with a weird melody of ice cream. "Ice-cream~ Ah Ice-cream~ I am gonna eat you~ Ice cream oh ice cream~ you are the best for summer~"
