Celene was in no mood for his words to go anywhere near her ears anymore. She was upset, beyond upset really, and he was lucky (or so she liked to think) that she didn't just turn around and rip his tongue out herself. Oh how the nobles would have gossiped if she had. Their lovely empress maiming a passing prince who only sought her audience~ Blech, the thought of them siding with his was disgusting.
Still, she did growl lowly at him, turning back to look at him once before setting her sights on her hill-home. "You run your tongue like you do not care for it. I can remove it if it is burdening you so." The empress sneered, struggling to contain her obvious dislike for the prince of the Bahari'mtoto. "Not stay silent unless you'd like to die." Here she had hoped for a story from a rogue and an uneventful trip home. That did not seem like it would be the case.

Oh man, this was going to be the best adventure Sikulu had had in a loooong time. He'd definitely have some stories to tell his old traveling buddy. Still, the curly-haired male gave a pleasant smile to the empress in cognito, and fell in line behind her.
In his time as a young prince, he'd never had the experience of actually ruling anything, so this would be an interesting experience. Seeing how a kingdom was actually run, who held the power... Maybe he had missed out on something wonderful! Then again, if she was out here playing dress up, he figured there wasn't much else to do for a king or queen.
For now, though, he would play the unwelcome guest in the agitated queen's court. Puffing his chest out a little at the thought, Sikulu grinned. This kingdom could use a little excitement.
