Molly was still in a panic.

"HE--"

She then went even more wide eyed, paused, and then stared at Noemi. In silence. For quite a while. Molly was thinking.

"I...I don't know..."

Then it occurred to Molly.

She never asked Jeremy if he liked someone else.

She was the worst friend ever.

She also chose this moment to overlook all the time they spent together and the sleep overs and the conversation that said otherwise, no. Right now, Molly focused on the fact that she was Jeremy's worst friend ever. Molly's eyes got teary.

"I NEVER ASKED HIM!"

Luckily, though Molly's eyes were tearing up, she did not shed them. Crocodile tears. "You think he would?" She asked the girl who did not know Jeremy all that way and was in fact afraid of him. Like she knew. Like she was an expert on this or something.

"Oh...it's not your fault!" Molly exclaimed, and reached out and pulled Noemi into a hug.
