Zeke smiled at Meli when the Sigel thanked him, letting her touch his arm with no discomfort.
"Not a problem, he said in return, letting her go in second. Zeke would have followed but decided to let the two women have their moment with the Frei before he intruded on the party with paperwork and calls for a name. In that short time, the door shut enough that it was ajar so that only added more fuel to Zeke's 'hang back a second' fire, waiting for either Wasa or Melisande to let him in again.
It was Wasa who did. Zeke chuckled and waved off the apology - no harm done. Adjusting Wasa's file in his arms, the vet went in...and smiled all the wider.
"Hey there!" Brown and cream this one was, harkening to her Essence quite openly, especially with the nautilus-shaped brooch on her throat. Her soul would have still been an aquatic mystery if not for the tentacles curling and furling above her ears. Gently the vet nudged her Guardian, leaning in to whisper in her ear. "Looks like you caught yourself an octopus, Wasa!"

Melisande flashed a brilliant smile to Zeke as he entered. The Sigel was radiant with happiness…had she known the assistant better, or had she been a little younger, Pasha would have hugged him on the spot. As it was, she lowered her hand gracefully from the Frei's and tilted her head in a nod of thanks to him. She'd been nervous, with the doctor still so ill…
"An octopus…" She murmured, turning her smile now to the Artist. She'd sat with Wasa as she'd lowered the soul bottle again and again into the waters off the pier…but she never expected anything so exotic! Her eyes flicked again to the Frei, lashes low with affection. "Well, you are a new spirit now, dear one! A little of this, a little of that, and lots of love!" Laughing softly, she slowly reached her fingers near the curious and coiling tentacles…not touching, but close enough.
