I hear they like young boys in some places. ninja I'm more like an old woman really. But I sold my telly, so I can afford both the rules and the art book. sweatdrop Review on Sunday or your soul will be mine! emotion_omnomnom We'll see whether or not GW will allow non-GW stores to sell the rules during release weekend.

Looks like that will be the last big 40k purchase in a long time for me then. A lot of stuff will be put on hold or cancelled, like the madness that is another Imperial Knight. Tis for the best, that way I can focus on the stuff I have lying about right now. sweatdrop

Getting another one won't magically make them like me all of the sudden. On the bright side (?), the store forgot to order the art book, so I'm just getting the rules tomorrow. No cards either it seems.

Man I just dont know what to do.
I just got the last rule book and stack of codecies now to find out the 300 plus dollars I spent are going to be useless.
I just dont know man. Does the new Astra Millitarum codex jive with the new rules? Is there going to be another edition 6 months from now?
I just dont know what to do now....

It's not as dramatically dire as you make it out to be though. The rulebook has been replaced, all codex books however are still valid and have not been rendered obsolete. The Astra Militarum codex has been written with the 7th edition in mind. Need proof? Check the Emperor's Benediction special rules, it didn't make sense in the 6th, but it does with the 7th.

Imperial Guard is not made up of Space Marines though, so chances may be slim. wink One might consider the Tempestus Scions codex to be a supplement though.
