I think that MK overdoes the blood thing.
I mean in Deadly Alliance it looked like chocolate pudding rolling off the character's skin. xd

Sage Ruffin Son Kurichi-Kai I think that MK overdoes the blood thing. I mean in Deadly Alliance it looked like chocolate pudding rolling off the character's skin. xd I prefer the term thick Kool-aid. But the blood didn't even look red! That's the point I was getting at. xd

It really doesn't. It looks brownish. Makes you wonder about those peeps from Midway. Gotta give 'em credit for the first movie, though. All that violence, and hardly a speck of blood in sight. xd

Blood is okay. But not to much. Just enough to make it realistic.

well it depends on the game and the genre. seriously, would anyone take god of war or grand theft auto as seriously if it didnt have blood in it? nuff said. but blood in a game like super mario would just be strange and unnessesary. so it depends.
also, some games have settings where you can change the blood color. its nice i suppose having monsters bleed black blood instead of red blood.

I do agree it makes it more realistic, like in RE4 when Leon gets smacked to the ground and you see blood fall to the floor.
I hope in future games they'll make it even more realistic by actually keeping the blood and wounds on the character's faces and wherever else they get injured until they use a recovery item.
Bruises healing would be good to see too.

blood helps...not tons of spray to make it un-realistic...but enough to match the injury...if someone gets shot in the head, i want to see plenty of blood...if they get shot in the shoulder, i want to see a small spray.
