Shiny nodded in response to the explanation Ari gave her, then opted to sit down under the cherry tree while the fey girl worked her magic. It seemed safer to be sitting, in case whatever happened left her woozy or weak, or just plain packed a punch. Taking in a deep, slow breath, the fallen star closed her eyes and began to listen to the world around her. Hoping to hear the languages of the birds, animals and trees, as she had once been able to do, she tried to relax into as close to a meditative state as she could manage. Her anticipatory excitement was making any kind of true calmness pretty much impossible, however.

Occult Nekozawa
The Flickering light's tempo resonated like a heartbeat. Ari visualized the Gold colored shield around Shiny's body. She began to instinctively play the melody that synced with each flicker. Alright... The tiny butterfly of a soul that was the Fey broke free of the bottle it was held in. At once a bright aura of many colors erupted from her harp are swirled keeping up with the song. As if reacting to the airborne spark, several tiny silver lights danced around Ari's back. They expanded to reveal a pair of multicolored wings that fluttered lightly. Her white hair reflected several silver strands and appeared to have suddenly grown longer.
"Alright.." She whispered. The colorful streams around her moved with the wind towards the fallen star. "The connection will be made as soon as your Wavelength accepts mine" She opened her eyes. Her colors met with Shiny's gold. 'Now this is where it may get weird.' She said mentally.
Nekozawa instinctively stumbled back a bit when the Apparent rainbow light flurried from the Elf-like girl. He ducked behind the umbrella. The white butterfly nearly fallen off but instead fluttered near Umehito's Hood. "Dude, if you hide you're gonna miss it."A voice rang gently in his ear. The dark prince looked up just as the melody began. His first thought was that Arillena did not appear to be any different- minus the wings and the multicolored sparkles that swarmed her. It wasn't until she opened her eyes that he was surprised. The bright blue had been replaced by a mirror of different colors. It was then that he remembered how they had been gray when he had first met the Timid visitor. Over the music Umehito couldn't hear, but Arillena's mouth moved like she was speaking. He watched in awe as the colors reached out to Shiny. How would her light react?

I'm ready for any weirdness. The reply came prompt and sure, and it wasn't until a second after she thought the words that Shiny realized Ari hadn't spoken aloud - and neither had she! The fallen star's eyes opened wide at the realization, which was swiftly followed by a strange swirling sensation in her chest. It seems that her soul was so starved for Light that it had reached out and made the connection the very moment it had become open to do so.
"You are... beautiful, Ari." Shiny smiled as she looked at the fey girl, feeling her own light welling up within to meet her. Pale blue eyes turned gold, brightening until even the pupils were nothing but a warm, yet dim, yellow light, as a soft golden glow began pulsing weakly just beneath her skin. Yes, she was ready.
Ari smiled as Shiny's voice echoed in her own mind. That was a good sign. The fey continued to play her harp in resonance to the Auric tempo. The multicolored streams around Her began to blend with the Gold from the fallen star until both of their Energies shined with the same Gold color. 'I've synced with you properly' She thought while keeping a good pace with her playing. 'As I begin to restore your light there lies the chance of our memories crossing. I can't predict whe-' The thought was interrupted by a man's voice shouting.
((Incoming Flashback. This is what Shiny may be seeing. She doesn't have to see/remember all of it, unless you wish to. But what ever little glimpses, Sounds or emotions you feel like she'd remember. Terribly sorry if it is a lot.))
Blinking... looking up, it's blurry at first. Someone is talking. "And if anything happens to her you'll feel the wrath of Oberon's Fury every day for the rest of your life. Do I make myself clear?" An older man, apparent by his gray speckled hair, held the leafy bundle close. The leaves, they smell fresh and they tickle. "Of course. I won't let anything happen to her. Thank you for trusting me." That voice is younger. The feeling of being moved in the air. There's a new face, He grins and says, "It'll be okay." There's swooshing sound, and suddenly there's a cool breeze. Eyes close.
They open again. The man is yawning. It is night. The sky disappears and is replaced by a frayed wooden ceiling. Something smells of fire and mold... The feeling of being placed on something flat. Look up, there's the man. Even in the dark his appearance in clear. Dark skin like tree bark, and hair black as the midnight sky. Look right, there is another figure close by. Sleeping, a animal? Reach out, a pale hand touches the tan child's face.
Crying, why is it crying? Look back to the man. He is turned around. "I forbid your kind from entering my home! How dare you try to steal my Child!" A woman, she sounds angry... But why is she laughing now? The man reaches back but is stopped suddenly. He collapses. Too weak to sit up, what's happening? An older woman appears in his place. She is holding a wooden and metal tool. Did she hit him? I don't understand. The woman point a finger, it smells of iron. "Very well, I'll show you what happens when your kind intrudes." The man stands up slowly behind her, she doesn't notice. "Now..." He lifts something reflective. In a split second, eyes see two small creatures, one with ears like the man and has bright blue eyes- and another that looks like the woman, but crying still. "Reside forever in the Dark!" The mans reflective object come crashing down on the woman and she falls. There is a bright purple light. Black.
The ground feels cold. There is some strength to crawl and look up. The other small body in laying on its side. Around it is a dark pool. Look left, The woman is sleeping. Look right, the man is crying. Get closer, he looks up and says, "What have I done..." Ow... Look down, a tiny pale hand touched a sharp piece of the reflecting object. Look closer. Its the face with the ears like the man. But.. Something is different. The eyes aren't blue any more. They are gray, and crying. The face changes suddenly. To Dark hair and purple eyes. A voice talks again.
Reside forever in the dark...
Unaware of the visions that passed from her Ari focuses on transferring identical light energy into Shiny's Spirit. The Flickering appears to grow steadier with every note.

Using the Umbrella almost like a shield. Nekozawa found himself several steps away from where he had once stood. It was easier to obverse that way... This Power was incredible, Is this what these two have kept concealed for so long? Umehito was amazed. He had almost forgotten to keep an eye on Arillena's Shadow. However when he glanced up, She did not appear to have one! Is the Power of their light simply not giving it room to exist? He looked at the Butterfly on his shoulder. It was silent and still, he appeared to be watching intently.
The sudden influx of visions had Shiny gasping, and she would have felt a moment of gratitude for having thought to sit down beforehand, if her mind weren't currently flooded with the disjointed memories being played before her mind's eye. two are one... why didn't I see that before? Oh, those poor babes...
But just as soon as she had begun to piece together what she was seeing, the fallen star began to feel... brighter. Fuller, stronger and less weighted down. Slowly but steadily, the Light was being returned to her. Outwardly her eyes brightened, shining like two unblinking stars as the thready pulse of light that flickered beneath her skin grew stronger.

The Faye Girl continued to play her Harp with a steady bright beat. The Gold colored energy resonating perfectly. Ari had been focusing so much that it almost appeared that the girl was under a trance. She closed her eyes again. Just a little more... As soon as the Fallen star's energy had replenished to its natural amount Ari would draw back her connection. Oddly enough, Ari herself felt brighter as well. There was a strange gold glitter floating about her that she failed to remember seeing before. The rainbows in her eyes swirled with the same gold sparkle. Parts of her arms and legs felt colder than before, but Ari was not alarmed by this. She kept playing the last several measures of her song.
~~
Although The Fey Girl was not frightened by the sudden chill on her skin. One of the bystanders froze in silent terror. Oh no... Faolan glanced at The Star's condition. Nothing to be concerned about there, however Ari... It wasn't cold air she was feeling. Thin shadows began crawling around her ankles and wrists like black snakes or vines. It was so bright around the two women that Faolan doubted either of them would be able to see them.
The shadows moved quicker as Arillena reached the last measure and began to draw back her light. They covered her body like a black tattoo and threatened to dive across the golden bridge connecting the Fey to the Star. In a matter of seconds Faolan turned from a Butterfly to a Human and darted out as the Shadows spread quickly into gold light. He raised his Arms and somehow reflected the Shadows while simultaneously breaking the connection. It will be alright...The Syncing was finished so they will both be alright... He hoped silently.
Nekozawa had been so caught up in trying to comprehend the transfer of this magic that he did not notice the snakes at first. It wasn't until the creature on his shoulder seemingly tensed that he saw the darkness wrap itself around the Fey girl. The Shapeshifter moved faster then the Dark prince. In a puff of smoke the Butterfly was a Young man faster then Umehito could think. The Person seemed to have mirrors on his armbands. Nekozawa began to shout his questions but a flash of light interrupted him as the Connection was broken. He peered out from under the umbrella just in time to see Arillena Faint and the Strange person rush over to her. Nekozawa turned to Shiny as the light faded away. Had the Ritual worked in time? He approached her as his eyes adjusted. "Miss Shiny"

Shiny breathed in deeply, the golden light expanding with her movement until the enclosed garden was so bright it looked more like a luminous sunrise than the sunset currently happening outside their small space. Her head tilted back and she laughed, the sound itself somehow bringing to mind a series of shooting stars. She had forgotten how it felt to be whole, to be so full of and surrounded by the Light that there was no shadow, no doubt, no fear; only certainty and knowledge and a serene, encompassing joy.
Except there was shadow. In her heightened state, as opened and unrestrained as she was, the thin wisps of encroaching darkness were felt like a persistent itch. Golden eyes snapped open again and zeroed in on the tendrils of shadow trying to wrap around Ari and she frowned. They did not belong here. And someone was afraid of them. She didn't know whose fear she felt, it was strange enough that in this moment she could feel everyone's emotions at all, but that fear displeased her. It did not belong. She stood - well, more like floated to her feet, actually - and breathed in again, and on the exhale pushed outwards with a brilliant wave of light at the same moment that Faolan leaped in and severed the connection.
Both hers and the shapeshifter's attacks slammed into the shadows, the light wrapping protectively around Ari's body as Shiny, deprived of that connection and the steady influx of Light, fell back to the ground in a limp heap. The Light emanating from the star was gone, leaving only a glittering shimmer across her skin that was only slightly more prominent than her normal "condition".
When Nekozawa called her name she tried to sit up, but found her head spinning and opted to stay where she was. "I'm... okay. Yes, I'm okay." Better than okay, actually, but at the moment her worry overshadowed their success. "What happened? There were shadows, I saw them..."
((Up to you what her Light burst did to the shadows, and to Ari. She might know a few more languages than she did before, or have a few new categories or knowledge, or perhaps she is now temporarily also sparkly. razz ))
[quote"Occult Nekozawa] ((I can work with Sparkles and new languages~ 3nodding)) The burst of light along with Faolan's reflective counter was enough to drive the shadowy vines away from the golden bridge as is disintegrated. Ari dropped her harp from the blast- unaware that the shadows had been there in the first place. "Faolan? Your not supposed to-" She collapsed from the sudden interruption. Her eyes faded back to blue before they closed and her wings vanished. All the multicolored energy wisps vanished but a thin dust of silver and gold glitter remained on her skin and on the grass around her. ~ Faolan was at her side immediately, "Aria, can you hear me? Aria!?" The Elfish girl lay silent as she breathed evenly. Faolan wasn't at all worried about the scene he now created, on top of revealing his true form. Don't tell me that it... He stopped himself. No, it couldn't have. Suddenly Ari's eyes opened. But instead of blue... they were a vivid purple color. The end of her White hair turned black all the way to the top of her head leaving only a misplaced white streak on the right side. Faolan moved back slightly as the girl sat up rubbing her head. ~ Ally wondered why her head hurt so much. She cursed silently and coughed, "Son of a... what is this... dust? Grass? Geez where did I end up this time?" She looked up at the three familiar faces. "What is this some kinda intervention?" She laughed as The other Elvish character slammed his fist on the ground. "What's your problem? Hey shouldn't you be hiding?" She tried to stand up but stumbled a bit and then sat back down. What the hell is this... Still sleepy am I?

Little Miss Shiny
Relieved that Shiny was fine he smiled under his hood. In response to her question... Nekozawa looked back to the scene of now two elf-like people with curiosity. "It appeared that Miss Arillena's shadow had vanished during the blending of your energies." He told her recalling his previous suspicion. "I have been watching it for a while now, It seems there is more to this then either of us can understand..." He paused and turned back to Shiny realizing potential damage, she did not appear touched by the darkness. "How do you feel? Was the transition sucessful?"
Silently Umehito approached the Dark skinned elf-man. How did he know to stop the Shadows from crossing...? Before he could ask who exactly this Faolan was... a second suspicion was proven. Before their eyes Arillena shifted into Allyra, who did not realize what had just taken place. "Intervention? Not in the slightest. Tell me..." He looked at The Shapshifter. "What can you explain about this matter." He felt Allyra's distrustful gaze being shot around at those before her.
"Allyra?" Shock colored her voice as she looked at the fey girl, who clearly knew about as much of how she got here as she or Nekozawa did. Except... except there was something nagging at the back of her mind, something... important. Something that had happened during the restoration. "Hm, what?" Belatedly realizing she'd been asked a question she smiled distractedly to Nekozawa, nodding, "Yes, I feel better than fine actually, albeit a little dizzy..."
It occurred to her that it was very brave of him to have agreed to come here and participate in the renewal, and her smile deepened. He lived in the dark, and yet here he was, willingly touched by the light.
lived in the dark...
Shiny frowned again and looked at Allyra, only then realizing she was wearing the same thing as Arillena and that the other fey girl was gone. "Reside forever in the dark..." She looked at Faolan then and, suddenly catching a partial glimpse of his face, her eyes went wide. A hand shot out to grab his arm, bare skin against bare skin for a full contact reading of his emotional state. "You! That was you crying, wasn't it?" Bright eyes lifting to Allyra's face, "And that was your face in the glass shard!"

Ally raised an eyebrow at the sudden declaration of the Sparkly Woman. "Beg your pardon?" Faolan turned to Shiny as she grabbed his arm. He stared at her bewildered for a moment, then his shocked expression turned to that of guilt. "Oh, So that's what you saw..." He looked down as Ally glanced to and from those around her. "Did something happen? Also why am I Sparkly... This had better not be your doing you Mutt." Ally paused as she notice the difference in his behavior. She immediately wished she could take back her words. "Hey you're not usually this quiet... Further more not usually out in the open like this. What's going on here?" Faolan sighed. "No, you're right. It is all my fault. Everything."
Faolan looked up at Nekozawa. "You've been able to tell haven't you?" He asked without needing an answer. Ally opened her mouth to say something but Faolan continued. "A little over 200 years ago, I made a horrible mistake that resulted in the death of an Innocent Human child. This same mistake doomed the child's soul to be locked away in darkness, forever existing as only a shadowy reflection on another beings life." Allyra was silent for a moment. "Wait... That sounds like... But It can't be! We only became connected when my Mother messed up her curse. How could you even know about this-" She froze. "You didn't... I'm not..." Her usually solid expression fell into confusion and denial as she listened to his words.
Faolan sighed and sat up, he figured he may as well tell the truth to the one who's life he messed up the most... "Her curse was deadly accurate. It was intended to seal Aria away into the Darkness without affecting you at all. But I..." Faolan looked down his black hair shielding his face once again. "I couldn't let that happen to her... So I acted without thinking." The memory of smashing down the mirror replayed in his mind. "I-I had only meant to stop her, I didn't plan on anything happening to either of you... If I had only follow directions the first time..."
"Stop..."
"..Then Aria would have lived without feeling restricted..."
"Stop talking."
"And you wouldn't have died-"
"YOU'RE LYING!" Faolan looked up suddenly, two centuries worth of guilt streaming down his face. Allyra was standing now. Her eyes almost glowing with anger, confusion, denial and sadness. "I'm not dead... I was trapped. I've been free for almost a few months now you can't sit there and tell me that I died that day." Faolan shook his head. "I'm so sorry... I do not deserve forgiveness... You haven't been freed. That body isn't yours... Nor is it what you should have looked like..." Allyra took a step back. She glanced at Nekozawa, "You knew...You all knew. And nobody told me?!" Without warning The dark haired elf turned and ran. Faolan called out to her but she did not stop. Ally threw herself over one of the garden's gates and disappeared.
Faolan sat in silence. He looked over to Shiny who still had his arm. "I'm sorry you had to see that, i was afriad of this happening...." He sniffed slightly. "A-Are you alright? Has your power been restored?" He foresaw a question and answered it, "Don't worry, It wasn't the Connection that caused anything. Aria- Sorry, Arillena will be fine." He would just have to find her later... "I just couldn't keep it to myself anymore. I thought I was protecting her...I should have gone home afterwards and faced Oberon's Punishment. Perhaps he would have killed me... No, that would have been too merciful... I'm a self-exiled Murderer." He gently pushed Shiny's hand off of him. "You've seen my sins. I only bring them pain."
((Omigosh... Sorry for the lengthy Post crying There goes my horrible habit of Overdoing things sweatdrop ))
Nekozawa stayed silent as it seemed the haunting past of this Fey Man poured out of him like dark floodgates. Umehito thought to himself as Faolan explained what had happened so many years ago. He wondered how Allyra became unaware of the total story and if Arillena knew anymore than she did. Whatever Shiny had seen, it must have been what the Snow haired elf failed to recall. The Dark prince chose to not interrupt as Allyra reacted to The Elf man's confession. He slightly felt out of place until she directed and accusation to him. While it was true he had his suspicions, Umehito never imagined that the Other spirit within Arillena was that of a lost soul.
It was then that Nekozawa noticed the thin layer of darkness that hovered over the Dark skinned elf. Faolan began to outwardly blame himself and the shadow grew thicker. Umehito was unsure of what to say to this stranger. He glanced at Shiny for some assistance. Finally The Dark Prince swallowed the awkwardness of the silence and moved around to be facing the elfish man. "Is that truly what you believe?" He asked. "I did not see the Visions that Miss Arillena unconsciously passed over to Miss Shiny. Nor have I been able to accurately follow the story." He paused. "I have seen my share of Darkness in this world. Every living thing, no matter the details, has it's personal share of Shadows that haunt them to no end. Be it regret, fear, or pain. There is always a source of light to compliment the darkness and bring those who are lost back to where they belong." He smiled at Shiny, then looked back to Faolan. "You cannot continue to Mourn what cannot be changed. You saved one that was dear to you, and continue to protect her even after so long." Nekozawa hoped he was not speaking out of term. He knelt down at eye level with Faolan. Blue eyes met Brown. "I apologize for asking you to share your darkness so suddenly. I hope you can forgive my curiosity."
