Eun-Ho Joong Eun-Ho only laughed, having not seen the almost-kiss that Balthazar thought was going to happen. " Nah, I like it because of the music. Detective Waltz's lover, Ellery, is an old friend of mine, and he grew up in America, near where this movie takes place. When he came to Korea and told me about Louisiana, I didn't think he was telling the truth about it, but this movie really made me believe him." He finished closing up open cases, starting to restock them onto the shelves. " That, and I really like the story. A worker with dreams too big to bottle up falls in love with the one type of man she'd been avoiding all her life? I can relate!" It didn't take long to clean up, and soon enough, Eun-Ho was scooping up Balthazar and sitting in front of the couch and behind the table on the floor, the boy between his legs. He blinked, then boomed a laugh. " Hah, looks like I missed the couch! Ah well, let's just stay on the ground. Closer to the ice cream!" The pop star reached for the bowls, holding them both up in front of the Frog King. " Which one do you want?" Awesome nerd So... I started reading it.

 King Balthazar________________________________________________Feeling rather silly for believing it would have been a kiss, Balthazar almost didn't notice his new sitting position. He glanced around then over at the two bowls of ice cream offered to him. " Umm... I'll take that one." he said with a childish grin as he grabbed the bowl on the right. Taking it to his lap, he looked up to smile at Eun-Ho, although he nearly failed to do so when he saw how close they were to each other. Suddenly aware of where exactly he was sitting, the blushing boy looked forward and tried to focus on the movie, but he was too flustered by the fact that he was sitting so close to Eun-Ho - sitting right in front of him! ... He was warm. The Frog King shut his eyes tight and lightly shook off the thoughts. What was he doing, being flustered by nice Eun-Ho? He was just a friendly guy, not anyone interested in a relationship with someone that looked like a boy! No... No, he should just watch the movie and stop thinking about this; air out his mind. Now... where were they? " What's going on?" he mumbled as he put a spoonful of ice cream into his mouth. ________________________________________________

Eun-Ho Joong" Tiana was just turned into a frog," he answered, aiming a spoonful of ice cream towards his own mouth. After swallowing, he set his chin on Balthazar's head and sighed heavily, eyes watching the movie. A strangely clean scent drifted upwards toward his nose, combined with what could only be determined to be salt. He liked it, he wouldn't lie, but he may have liked it too much. Looking down a the young-looking king, the man shifted uncomfortably and tried to fit in a little distance between them. The smell was starting to make his head feel light, and he swallowed back his inner thoughts as one popped up. He feels nice...

King Balthazar________________________________________________" The girl turned into a frog?!" Bal asked incredulously. That's never been possible in his family! Then again, there hadn't been a daughter born yet into his bloodline. The little boy continued pondering over the matter when he felt something atop his head. He blinked a couple times then peered up to see Eun-Ho looking back down at him. Tensing up, he quickly looked back at the movie and shoved more ice cream into his mouth in hopes of calming down the flaming blush over his face. It almost worked had Eun-Ho not pulled the small king towards his body. Feeling the gap close and his back overcome with warmth, Balthazar felt the blush flare across his entire body. This-This was natural, right? People did this during a movie, right? Why-Why did he like it so much?! His mind losing complete focus from the movie and his body feeling like a volcano, Bal desperately shoveled ice cream into his mouth to sooth the chaos inside him. Argh! Why did he have to have these strange feelings for Eun-Ho?! He'd never want to be in a relationship with a little boy! " AHH!" Bal suddenly cried out. His spoon fell into his bowl and the hand that once held it went straight to his head. There was a sharp pain there, almost unbearable. On the bright side, he felt cold now instead of hot. ________________________________________________

Eun-Ho JoongEun-Ho gasped at the sudden cry, concerned gaze back down at the boy as he quickly searched for a reason for the outburst. Eyes catching the spoon and the ice cream that was mostly gone in so little time, he chuckled and adjusted Balthazar, moving his legs a little closer together and setting the young male on his lap. " Brain freeze, huh?" Without waiting for much of an answer, he took the Frog King's hand from his head and placed his thumb in his mouth, lightly pressing the flesh to the roof of Bal's mouth. " Just press for a few seconds and it'll go away!" he explained cheerfully, holding back his need to tell him how cute he was.

King Balthazar________________________________________________Tears pooled in the young man's eyes as the pain throbbed in his head. He sniffed up at Eun-Ho when placed on his lap, but before he could react he found a finger being jabbed into his mouth. His eyes widened and he was just about to drop the bowl to get the hand out of his mouth when he heard the celebrity's calming tone and soothing words. The king hesitated then looked up to Eun-Ho, ignoring the blush from having the finger in his mouth. He couldn't control his tongue and would occasionally poke the finger out of curiosity, and as he did that he realized that the pain in his head was fading away. " Es gone!" Bal gasped, his words muffled but his joy still there. He looked up eagerly at the Korean, beaming with relief. " I on't eel any pain anymore!" he said, his tongue having to rub against the finger with each word spoken. It was awkward, yes, and the little king might've secretly liked it, yes, but it was strange nonetheless. ________________________________________________

Eun-Ho JoongEun-Ho's eyes crinkled at the corners with his genuine smile as he pulled his hand away, wiping it on his shirt and reaching back upwards to tuck green hair from green eyes. " You're so cute, Bal!" he gushed, unable to stop himself from leaning closer and planting a tender kiss on the Frog King's forehead. After pulling away, wide eyes looked down at him, strange emotion filling them. " B-Bal, I-" Bzzzz!He was interrupted by the sound of a phone vibrating. Moving quickly, the young man grabbed his phone off of the far end of the couch and answered in delight, having read the name "Fredrich" on the flashing screen. Disappointment, however, was soon etched across his handsome face as he realized that he was talking to Ellery, not Fredrich. " Yeah, yeah, I know," he grumbled. " I'll go by tomorrow to pick up Daniel... Wh-what are you and Fred- Detective Waltz planning to do?" He waited without expression, then could feel his heart breaking as he heard Ellery describe the South Korean tradition that he was planning to fulfill. " O-oh. That's good. I wish you all the happiness in the world!" He set the phone down on the couch after hanging up, then carefully slid Bal from his lap and stood, starting back for the kitchen. " I'm gonna make some popcorn. You enjoy the movie until I get back," he said, voice thik with tears he wouldn't let fall.

Eun-Ho JoongEun-Ho was silent as he placed the flat bag of popcorn into the microwave, arms crossed as he leaned against the counter and waited. He bent his blonde head, raising one hand to his face as he let those tears begin to fall. It hurt so much, having to watch the man he loved be so completely enamored of his best friend. The young star couldn't stop himself from crying, his shoulders shaking in the process. His heart panged with the wrenching, yet strangely familiar agony of unrequited love, and he did all he could to keep his sobs quiet. By the time the microwave beeped, the man had finished his session of misery and was in the process of wiping his eyes. After returning himself to his prior state, the man took the popcorn from the microwave and opened the bag, pouring it into a light blue bowl. " Popcorn's ready!" he called, starting towards the living room once more.

King Balthazar________________________________________________Bal frowned as Eun-Ho began to cry. To make someone so nice cry was... it was unforgivable! He'd never forgive that stupid-head detective! He'd throw frogs at him every time he'd see him! Anger aside, all the small king wanted to do was run up and cheer Eun-Ho up. Those sobs were torturing his ears, not only because they were Eun-Ho's but because he recognized that anguish. That was the same kind of lonely cry he had when he learned about his fiance. He knew how awful it felt, how lonely the celebrity must be. He could go there and hug him, try to cheer him up right now, so why didn't he? Was he afraid of being rejected? Afraid of just going there in general? He couldn't tell, and he wouldn't be able to because now the popcorn was ready and Eun-Ho was on his way back. Tensing up, Bal dashed as fast as his tiny legs could carry him to the couch, sitting down in the same spot he had been in, only panting from the rush. Faking a surprised smile, he smiled up at the older-looking man and hungrily licked his lips. " Yay! It'll taste good with the ice cream!" he giggled. ________________________________________________

Eun-Ho Joong" I thought so too!" he laughed in reply, looking as if he'd never been upset to begin with. The man smiled down at Bal, soon in his former position, although his shirt was a bit wet from tears. He set the popcorn in front of them both, his chin resting back on top of the boy's head as he watched the movie, choking back tears that wanted to come back already. He sighed, lowering his gaze and wrapping his strong arms around the boy's middle. " I hope you aren't cold," he said, his voice deep with worry. " Ellery's apartment is always a little chilly."

King Balthazar________________________________________________Eun-Ho hid his emotions well, but Bal could see through the facade. He felt the damp spots on the shirt where tears dripped off his chin, he noticed the slight puffiness of the celebrity's reddening eyes, and he could hear the sadness hidden behind that joyful tone. How long had Eun-Ho really been suffering, Bal wondered. How long had that stupid detective tortured him? Suddenly, Eun-Ho wrapped his arms around the boy's small body and looked down at him. Bal almost lost himself in that blissful moment, but quickly recovered and smiled his childish smile at him. " No, I'm fine. You're really warm." he beamed and snuggled up to him. ________________________________________________

Eun-Ho JoongDespite himself, Eun-Ho's cheeks tinged pink at the small king's actions. " Thanks," he murmured awkwardly, pursing his lips and staring at the screen. The boy was soft and small against him, fighting almost perfectly into him. That strange feeling from before reentered his eyes, and he struggled to make himself normal again. What was going on here? Why was he feeling so weird around Bal? Wasn't he just crying about someone else?

Eun-Ho JoongAlthough Balthazar had likely meant it as a compliment, Eun-Ho struggled not to feel a little disheartened by it. A bigger version of that stuffed frog? Was he calling him fat? The Korean worked very hard to maintain his built body, his frame coveted by many young and old. He knew it wasn't supposed to be offensive, but damn! It still stung! " Thanks, Bal," said stiffly, ignoring the sting. " You're like a smaller version of my pillows."
