╔════____════Aoi Celeste════____════╝
Someone's calling you, can't you hear the voice?
Now it's time to go, show your bravery.

The words, "I want to protect you," came flowing out of nowhere;
If you can put a stop to this feeling - this voice -
Then just try to break it!

Lottie let out a sigh as if being told off by an older sister when Tsuna demanded she finish signing the letter. She turned around and did the job, completing the sign up and getting a locket in return with an orange gem. Lottie gasped for a moment to observe it but Tsuna swiped it from her in an instant. Lottie pouted, something that was highly exaggerated whenever she did it. "Right" Micha'el replied, looking around for the Star Elves responsible for portal magic.

Eventually they found two of them, one man and one woman. They both had pointed ears, blue glowing eyes that seemed to leak arcane energy, and if completely honest pale skin. Both of them also had long flowing blonde hair, the man's kept back from his face by two thin braids coming from his fringe and coming together by a band behind his head. The woman's was a mass of waves that her ears pointed out of like daggers. They both also wore teh same blue robes, decorated with different shaded patterns, some purples and blacks, lined with silver thread. "Excuse me, are you the portal makers?" Micha'el asked. With a smile they both looked down at him, Lottie beside him with a huge grin and Aoi poking her head out behind her. Tsuna was on the other side of Micha'el, looking rather impatient. "We are" they finally said, "may we see your locket" said the woman with her hand held out. When Tsuna handed it over the gentle lady stiffened and looked the hovering gem over only once. Micha'el couldn't help but notice she looked saddened, as if remembering something. Then, with a smile, she said "I've been told Sunspire is a very beautiful place. I hope your quest is rewarding for you." She placed the trinket back into tsuna's hand and nodded to the man, who swung his staff down. He whispered some ancient magical words and calmly the grass beneath them brushed over as if an unnoticed breeze brushed through. The air before them seemed to ripple until spiralling in a tall oval shape. It began to light up a brilliant blue, with a rim of white which seemed to get sucked into the calm spiral of dark blue energy. The portal hummed delicately with energy. "The portal is open" he said, "after you" Micha'el said, gesturing to Tsuna to go first.

After Tsuna jumped through it was Lottie and then Aoi, who showed absolutely no signs of fear for stepping into a magical rip of time and space. Micha'el guessed it was just the mindset of Merlin Academy students, they deal with arcane magic every day. Just as he was about to follow through the woman put a hand on his shoulder and he looked up, "please" she said, "don't let their prejudice hurt you. They hate but only us." The other Star Elf then said something, and she retrieved her hand. Micha'el nodded and passed through the portal. He felt his body turn cold for a moment, and then he felt like he was floating through water as a heat rushed from his finger tips into his chest. Then there was a flash of white.

"Ruby" Lucas suddenly said, as if the words escaped him when she sat up. "I'm so glad!" he rushed in, a flow of white and silver as she got up. He saw it then, however, how frail and weak she was. It was as if he watched an old lady get out of her bed and attempt to walk. Only to fail. As she fell he dived to his knees and caught her. "Ruby, are you alright?" he asked. His heart was beating so fast, he felt like it might burst from his chest. Still, he could not tell if he was just anxious to see her after so long, or if he was worried about her condition. "The elves said you won't recover properly for several days - you need to be steady."

He saw only blackness. Micha'el could hear muffled shouting and cold against his cheek. No... cold everywhere, as if a rushing cold brushing over him. Suddenly he awoke. He saw nothing but a mixture of orange, green and blue as his eyes darted from up and down, left and right. "MICHA'EL!!!!!!" Lottie was screaming, as if in exctesy, "THEY DROPPED US IN THE SKY!!!!" As Micha'els senses finally came about him he realised what as happening. The portal must have dropped them high up in the sky! He looked left and saw Tsuna falling with them, awake too. He must have been the last. But where was Aoi?!

"Ah!!!!!" came a whizzing sound past his right in blue of black and pink. He looked down towards the ground, miles beneath them and saw Aoi falling below shouting words along the lines of 'someone help me! - im falling! - I can't fly! - why don't I have wings!"
"I'll get her" Micha'el said, whipping his arm out and summoning the Aria from a burst of white light. The tome flew open and the sound of flapping pages could be heard as he found the incantation and circled his hand over the pages. It was harder performing magic whilst plumetting, but he could still do it. When it was charged he flung the white light downwards towards Aoi like a spear. Meanwhile, Lottie focused and dived, letting herself fall even faster than before. She dived past the screaming Aoi and gave a wink and a wave before falling further below. "Eh?" Aoi pulled a confused face and stared blankly. She then let out another ry of surprise when a white light captured her. When it faded, and when she opened her eyes, she felt herself falling much more slowly now. All around her she saw white feathers appearing out of nowhere and rushing up above her as she descended. Following the trail up she saw Micha'el elogantly falling above her with the same feathery magic. The feathers seemed to spawn beneath his pointed foot and they vanished against once floating up too high above them. "Arigato Micha'el..." she called upwards, then seeing Tsuna coming down in her own stylish way.

Lottie hit the ground first, after having thrown her glaive into a tall standing autumnal tree with golden bark. She had grabbed hold of it and swung around on it once or twice before slowing down enough to jump and land on the ground. The others then came down afterwards, Aoi and Micha'el descending like angels in a flurry of white feathers that vanished when they stood on the flourishing grass. "Uh" Lottie then stared up at the tree where she left her glaive. "Micha'el?" she asked. With a roll of his eyes (even Micha'el rolled his eyes sometimes) he closed the pages of his book and said "you can climb up there and get it this time." Lottie pouted, but agreed nonetheless and jumped into the tree. "I-I'm sorry for falling so helplessly... my arcane abilities aren't like the other wizards at Merlin..." Aoi timidly stood apologising to Tsuna, presuming she was the leader, and holding her hands behind her back. Micha'el had other things on his mind though.

He saw an endless green vale, with trees dotted about in clusters that had wide-spreading canopies and curling roots. Their bark was a dark cream, like baked pastry. Their leaves were a mixture of red and golden. Not far in the distance he saw the tall towers of what he presumed to be Sunspire City. "Why didn't we arrive inside the city?" he asked, looking to Tsuna, as if she'd have an answer. "we're quite far away, in fact"

"I got it!!!" Lottie shouted, holding her glaive out from the top of the golden leaves in the lone tree.

((so, in your post you can start the fighting if you want. A small group of Vardent are on their way to attack Team Sun. They can look however you want, they're just usually misshapen animals or pieces of nature that are dull green or black. ^^ thought this would give Tsuna something awesome to do since I've not left much open for Tsuna to reply to))

If someone were to ask us, "Who's this all for?" We'd laugh, and say, "Our egos."

Even if a mirage lies before us... even if our communication remains surface-level...
I realise that I truly believe; there's more than forewells to be found on this planet!
Even if time passes and this all fades away, I'll still smile and say, "It wasn't a waste!"

Tsuna Miki

Tsuna bluntly ignored Lottie's exaggerated pouting as the group migrated out of the building to search for their transporters. They weren't hard to find because they stuck out of the crowds like a sore thumb. Their ears pointed from the sides of their heads, and both had striking blue eyes that complemented their flawless pale complexions. Their platinum blonde hair even matched, expect the male had his in braids that looped around his skull and secured at the base, whilst the woman let her hair cascade freely down her shoulders. They both wore blue robes to represent their divine culture and both contained some kind of pattern with richly colored threads popping out of the cloth. Micha'el politely asked them if they were the portal conjures and instantly, the elves panned down to the enthusiastic faces of the children. All except Tsuna, who tapped her foot and frowned waiting for passage into Sunspire. Professionally, they replied in unison and required the locket that the team had retrieved earlier. Exasperated, Tsuna practically threw the locket into the woman's hand put it stopped just inches about her palm, floating aimlessly as she examined its authenticity. Finally, the woman wished them a successful journey by gently handing Tsuna back the locket which she took roughly and shoved it into one of her pockets that closed with a zipper. Waving her hand, the male elf swung his staff and a non-existent breeze sudden parted the grass beneath then as a swirl, blue arcanic rift appeared before them. Its white hot rim regulated all the magic within giving off a harmonic humming sound that betokened the four. The woman announced that the portal is open, as if they were blind, and Micha'el insisted Tsuna go first. The redhead smirked and held up her head proudly as she marched through the portal triumphantly.

The experience was like floating in a lukewarm tank before a burst of radiant hot air and then cold air rushed past her. Tsuna had instinctively shut her eyes though, but knew something was off when her feet didn't touch solid ground. She could hear the echoing shouts of her teammates following closely behind above her as she fluttered her eyes open to behold a terrifying sight.

Lucas's happy union was disrupted when Ruby fell do to her compromised state causing him to save her by sliding to his knees and cupping her thin frame. Her head leaned sightly against his ticking chest and he breathed out in short breaths of fear for her safety. He asked if she was alright, but like before her response was stagnated and fractures. "I...yes?" He spoke of elven magic rejuvenating her body, but she didn't understand because their were still so many questions unanswered. Staring up at him and wondering if he was real or an illusion of her disoriented imagination, Ruby shakily lifted her hand up to caress his cheek. Upon touch his silk skin, her eyes widened as memories of old and new filled her subconscious which she quickly retreated in pain. It wasn't physical though as her eyes watered and much like a small child she wrapped her arms around him and sobbed into his shoulder; exerting all her strength to embrace him.

Tsuna should have been surprised like the rest of them but the whole ordeal felt more like a inconvenience than anything. Clapping the brim of her hat, she held it tightly over her wolf ears, and felt with her back facing the ground and her feet crossed as if she was sitting in an invisible recliner. Flashes of her teammates colors mixed in with the blurring environment of colors, but the ting of pink from their newest member had yet to be seen. Tsuna looked to the ground frantically hoping to not see a splattered puddle of pink when the screams of the helpless damsel whizzed past her. Tsuna grunted not eager to rescue her since her cries for help weren't necessary and seeing how she claims to be top of her class as Merlin. Fortunately, Micha'el assumed the duty for her and she whipped around to watch him summon he Aria's while plummeting at accelerated velocity. All she could see was flipping pages of gold before he found the incantation he was looking for and meticulously waved his hand over it. He thrust a burning light down at the child while Lottie stylishly zoomed past her winking teasing to prove that the sudden change of exploration didn't bother her. Tsuna shrugged and nodded as if to indicate that she was congratulating her on her smarmy actions. Aoi was left confused only to be swallowed by Micha'el beautiful, feathery magic that made her nauseous watching them descend so slowly and uniformed. The feathers appeared out the tips of their feet and became transparent as they rose before vanishing completely. The redhead flew past them and shook her head finding their style to dainty for her and readied herself to upstage in the art of landing.

Lottie's petite frame carried her downwards first and effortless she summoned her glaive and threw it into a near by tree. The glaive penetrated the stark golden bark and the red and brilliant yellow autumn leaves shook from the sudden disturbance. Grabbing onto her weapon, she swung around it like a trapeze artist and dismounted but regrettably forget to bring her weapon with her. As for Tsuna, similar to a cat, she positioned herself to fall straight into the tree's trunk and dig her unleashed claws into the bark. Once she hit the tree and her claws sunk into the smooth bark and she slid down making claw deviates. She marked up more than half of the tree as gravity began to loosen its effect on her letting her jump down safety. Lastly, the two "angels" floated down once all the chaos had been settled and Tsuna joined the other two while Lottie scampered up the tree to get her glaive. Aoi apologetically mumbled to Tsuna for her incompetence which Tsuna grunted and gave her a flick on her forhead. "You're pathetic. Don't disappoint me again." she scolded as she walked around to examine where they were.

The canopy of red and gold leaves with hints of green still hiding in the foliage and the towers of the city stood tall over the whole forest. Micha'el questioned why they were so far off course and Tsuna actually had a theory as to why. "Remember, this is a higher ranking mission. I don't they intended to drop us in the city in the first place. Their testing us to see if we can handle ourselves for the get-go." she calmly concluded as she put her arms out to breath more fluently. Lottie's high pitch voice interrupted her mantra as she claimed her weapon and decided to jump down drastically into her arms. She thanked Tsuna like she was a knight in shining armor only for Tsuna to get furious and drop her agitated. "Let's get going. A little walk won't kill us." she spat stepping over Lottie not bothering to listen to her ranting.

Someone's calling you, can't you hear the voice?
Now it's time to go, show your bravery.

The words, "I want to protect you," came flowing out of nowhere;
If you can put a stop to this feeling - this voice -
Then just try to break it!

"Uh-" Lucas was surprised by Ruby's sudden tight hold on him, it was like a child holding their father. And to tell the truth he didn't stop her. He let out a sigh and tilted his head, now on his knees and wrapping his own arms around her. "It's okay" he said, with a smile, "a lot has happened... we've all had time, now it's your turn".

"But, everything seems pretty safe so far" Aoi replied with her hand covering her eyes from the sun as she looked into the distance. She let out a small breath of air in awe over what she believed to be Sunspire. That was when Lottie came down from the sky and landed into Tsuna's suddenly strong arms. It was like a reflex. They locked eyes and for a moment Lottie looked mildly worried but then smiled greatly, "my hero!!!" Lottie opened up her arms in glee but was instantly dropped to the ground. Lottie let out a sigh of pain, complaining as Tsuna ordered them to get going. "Come on, Lottie, we can't hang around" Micha'el let out, turning to follow. They managed to get to the top of a small hill as a breeze brushed over them all. The air was warm, and even though the sun was getting high in the sky it was more like permanent dawn. Nearby were a group of elk, they were quite large with big antlers, their fur was a bright mixture of red and orange with a cream chest and stomach. For the most part they seemed to ignore Team Sun. Overhead large birds soared over in a flock, all of which coming from what Micha'el guessed was the south. They seemed agitated by their flight pattern. Nearby was a woods with a golden and red canopy, inside it was darker. In front of the trees was a large cream statue depicting an elf with robes, holding a long shield and a polearm. Micha'el stared in. "Something's coming" he muttered, pulling out the Aria and opening the pages, the golden edges fluttering beneath his fingers as he pulled out an incantation of white light. As the woods in the short distance began to make some loud breaking sounds Lottie equipped her glaive and it's edge gave a spectral glow. Aoi similar pulled out her own weapon, it was small rod of dark blue, at the base was a silver pointed cone and on the tip was a crystal ball infused with essence from the Star Well, looking like a portal into the starry cosmos. Sprouting from between the ball and the rod was a golden metallic wing, fashioned more like a mechanical wing rather than a feathery one. Overall the weapon was quite small, but it suited the wizarding ways of Entei.

Eventually the woods gave birth to creatures the group had encountered more than enough already. Vardent. First came a giant slithering serpent with dark skin that glowed green in between it's scales in the darkness. It hovered across the floor as if magically floating in the air and reared up into the air as it broke down several trees. Behind it came the rest of the Vardent, much like the ones found near Evermoon. Beasts with black fair and green glowing eyes pounced out, along with some avian black feathered creatures too.

"Everyone, quickly!" Aoi shouted out, rummaging through her small satchel in a rush. Micha'el tossed his head over his shoulder, white magic gathering in between his fingers as he watched to see what was so urgent. When she lifted her hand, held carefully between her fingers as she opened her palm were three small gadgets. "They're Arcaz tech, put them in your ears!" Aoi tossed them with a swipe of her hand and each one seemed to reach Tsuna, Micha'el and Lottie quite accurately. Lottie caught hers and briefly looked it over. It was a white gadget no bigger than her finger tip with some blue bits on the side, she looked to Aoi amongst the chaos, then at the Vardent emerging from the woods, then back to Aoi. She was placing her in her ear already, so Lottie did the same. The moment she put it in she could hear Aoi clearly, as if she was right beside her. As soon as Micha'el had his earpiece in he let go of the Aria and it levitated before him. He swiped his hands over the pages and let the light clasp onto his wrists as he threw his arms out. The light shaped into a pair of white glowing crossbows in the shape of holy crosses, the bottom point being where the bolts shot from. The Aria immediately closed itself and hung at his side as he began to shoot magical divine bolts at the enemies. "I've got the ones in the air." Micha'el announced to them. Lottie let out a gleeful chuckle, "we've got this, easy!" and ran forwards, dashing past Aoi and swinging her glaive. The spectral essence lurched off and transformed into her collection of ghostly blades, each one came down one at a time in a long line, cutting through any Verant beasts in their past before vanishing from sight. Aoi stood anxiously, then grasped her wand and let her arcane magic build up in it's tip before letting loose a chaotic blast of arcane energy. Aoi wasn't prepared for the rebound as she dropped to her butt, the arcane missile shooting off, past Lottie and, although a little inaccurate, devastated a single Vardent in an explosion of blue light. After staring, Micha'el avoided a diving Vardent from the sky, it had long spiny legs that attempted to pick him up, but as he back flipped it's feet clawed into the dirt ground and let out a chilling shriek of disappointment. Micha'el let loose a volley of white bolts into the creature's face before it began to lift off one again. "Don't kill this one" he then said, jumping into the air. Lottie jumped over a Vardent beast as Tsuna smashed it with her hammer, landing and asking "why?" and looked into the air, Micha'el then landed on the flying creature, which was about three time's his size, an said "because it's my ride". The beast then flew into the sky and as if a turn-coat, it was accidentally allowing Micha'el to snipe the other flying beasts from the sky with his magical crossbows. Aoi let out a small cry, too, "please don't hurt me please don't hurt me please don't hurt me" she was repeating. Aoi had her knees and elbows on the ground, holding her wand's base against the floor as she channeled the energy into an arcane down around her. Above he was one of the beasts bashing against the outside, attempting to get in.

As they all attacked the smaller beasts, the large floating serpent circled them, as if not allowing them to escape if they were to try and run.

Tsuna Miki

Lucas coaxed her gently, his voice so smooth and harmonic that she never wanted to stop hearing it. He cradled her and gave her time to cry until her tears ran dry. Eventually, she lifted her rubbed raw eyes and muttered, "I've missed you...and everyone else so much. Even if I shouldn't be here...I'm glad I am." his smile was contagious and she found herself hugging him again, terrified to let go.

Aoi was imperceptive to her surroundings feeling a false sense of security gazing into the distance at the towering city ahead. After Lottie pulled her damsel crap, Tsuna had made her position clear by putting the female in her place. Ironically, Micha'el took her side by telling Lottie to quit fooling around considering how crucial this mission is. As they neared the city, they ventured up a hill where the warm breeze engulfed them. Tsuna's brilliant ginger locks competed with the breath-taking dawn that covering the valley in a fiery ambiance of colors. Adjacent from them was a gathering of elks with large protruding antlers and fur matching the rich autumn shades of the leaves with a patch of cream on their bellies. Visitors must have been common to the them seeing that they didn't move an inch when they approached. The caws of birds flew in a somewhat unorganized pattern, migrating from the south she supposed. Deep within the amber and red woods, far past the thicket was an ivory stature erected of one of the elves. It was dressed in flowing robes and bore an elongated shield along with a polearm. From past the stature, creatures rampaged through the woods by the sound of branches snapping in two. By now, everyone was alerted and arming themselves immediately. Micha'el fluently pulled out his Aria commanding the golden trimmed pages to shuffle under his fingers until he found the desired incantation. Lottie manifested her glaives, the tips overflowing with supernatural glow. Aoi's weapon wasn't quiet what she expected since her weapon was massive compared to the girl's sad excuse. It was a navy blue wand decorated with a fancy silver handle that contained an embezzled arcane jewel in the middle. From the crystal manically wings sprouted giving the overall appearance flare. She could only hope that she was underestimating the wand's abilities similar to the caster that wields it.

From the darkness, a hoard of Vardents, much like the ones they had encountered in training emerged. One vardent in particular was a levitating serpent with raven black scales with a sickly green lit illuminating between the scales. It gall abounded through the air destroying more of the forest followed by other vengeful vardents. All land dwellers had pitch black fur and intense glowing green eyes which were the same as their flying allies.

Aoi distracted the team to fumbled through her bag for tiny gadgets that Tsuna could only conclude were communication pieces. The female provided them with a brief description and tossed them to each teammate voicing her commands. The werewolf didn't want to comply, but at the moment there was no time to argue as she snatched the technology from the air behind her. She didn't bother to examine the white and blue earpiece nor did she put it in her ears knowing that she could hear everyone even from a distance. Pulling off her hat to finally reveal her own animal appendages and removing her jacket so her tail could swing freely, she tossed the device back to Aoi surprising the girl by her true form. She pointed to her pitch black ears that wiggled about from the sounds all around her and matter-o-factly replied, "I can hear you all fine. That thing will wreck my hearing." With that, Tsuna finally pulled out her gigantic hammer extending the poll outwards towards the flock of monsters. After everyone was equipped, Micha'el swiped his hand over his book and a burning white hot light consumed his hands and transformed into two cross-shaped bows with the longer edge pointing downwards. As the Vardents attacked, he shot divine arrows at the aviators claiming them as his kills for the duration of the battle. Lottie seemed fine with that as there were plenty beasts on the ground to exterminate. Lunging forward, her glaives multiplied from the ghostly tip of light at the end of her weapon and rained down on the Vardents basically demolishing whatever poor creature happened to take that path before vanishing. Lastly, Aoi launched a rocket of arance magic from her wand aiming it inaccurately at a Vardent past Lottie that exploded in a spectacle of brilliant blue. Tsuna sighed loudly watching the girl fall back onto her bottom, but knew one of the others would cover her in the meantime.

The distinct noise of flapping wings descended upon Micha'el as he acrobatically evaded the bird that got ready to pluck him from the ground. Lottie closed in for the kill once Micha'el blinded it, but jumped clear over it when the blonde requested its safety. Unfortunately, Tsuna had crushed a section of its bony spine under her hammer when Micha'el declared that the creature would be his ticket to the skies. He leaped onto the agonizing creatures back as it took off into the air allowing Micha'el to shoot down its companions at a closer range. Almost like clockwork, Tsuna's highly sensitive ears caught Aoi begging for help as she retreated in a ball on the ground with an arcane barrier encasing her. A large gorilla Vardent beat the outside and instantly Tsuna knew the barrier wouldn't hold up. Sighing annoyed, the redhead gripped her hammer and ran to Aoi. She pounced into the air and swung her hammer horizontally hitting the side of the Vardent and sending it propelling into a tree. At that time, the insignificant barrier had vanished and Tsuna stomped up next to Aoi. She bent down and pulled the girl up and held her close as other Vardents attacked only to be incinerated by the flat edge of her red hot hammer. Tsuna's eyes trained in on the snake encircling the battlegrounds acting as a wall to hold them all in. "I'm going to take that thing out." she smirked proudly as she wrapped around Aoi's tiny waist. "You better not struggle and mess me up. Now lunch us into the air with your magic so we can get over these small fries."

Someone's calling you, can't you hear the voice?
Now it's time to go, show your bravery.

The words, "I want to protect you," came flowing out of nowhere;
If you can put a stop to this feeling - this voice -
Then just try to break it!

((I'll leave that there for Lucas and Ruby for now, i'll start them back up in a new thread where the story continues for team elixer))

Aoi was still burying herself in her own magic when Tsuna caught sight of the situation and was coming over as fast as she could. Aoi though she would be devoured by the awful and foul Vardent beast when her barrier collapsed, but instead she head the whack of a giant weapon and the howl of a defeated beast. Looking up it was Tsuna, the Therian red-head coming to save her. "Tsuna!" Aoi called out, happy to be protected, but she was quickly picked up and held close. Aoi let out small yelps when things attacked them, but Tsuna had them covered with her powerful hammer and fiery abilities. Aoi's eyes lit up red in the reflection fo the heat, and she almost looked excited. "Hye?" Aoi let out a small sound at Tsuna's remark about the gigantic serpentine Vardent. Aoi double-took between Tsuna and her hammer several times before asking politely "Wha-" but was stopped as Tsuna held tight around Aoi's waist and began to concoct a plan. "..M-my magic? Okay!" Aoi focused and held out her wand. Without a word the silver rod extended towards the ground and became a staff, the one-winged crystal ball at the top growing in size too to match the staff. As the orb levitated off the tipe a spiralling blue arcane magic sprouted out, like a tiny snake that coiled beneath the orb and joined onto the staff's tip, connecting the one-winged arcane crystal to the rest of her weapon. Inside the coil that was oval shaped it seemed there was a small amount of arcane energy wisping around within. With one hand she held up the staff and spun it around magically, before pointing it tip down at the ground and a collection of blue dist spread aross the grass, runes lighting up beneath them. "Hold-" Aoi tried to warn, but her magic set-of immediately and lit up a furious pink and blue as they two of them were thrust into the sky. Aoi let out a scream as the Vardent beneath them collided into each other in tsuna and Aoi's dust.

"Aaaannnndddddd slash!!!" Lottie came down on a Vardent beast, bringing her glaive across it's face with a white-hot glow, cutting the beast directly into two. The two halves passed behind her and hit the ground with a thud. The flesh quickly dried and turned to nothing, leaving only a strange purple glow where the edges of their body first begin to deteriorate. Lottie looked over her should and saw something new, a feline-like vardent with purple glowing eyes and green cracks beneath the skin of it's almost black-scaly skin. It pounced and landed on it's two front feet, twisting and attempting to land a powerful kick with both it's hind legs on Lottie. But she held out her glaive and the spirit blades materialised in a circle pattern to defend her. When she lowered her defence the beast came again, but this time with it's claws. With a duck, and then a jump, Lottie avoided both wipes and was in the air. As she ascended she threw down her glaive and it pierced the monster's neck, pinning it to the ground. Then at her command the spirit blades all came crashing down from different angles around the monster's neck as it fell limp. Lottie then hit the ground behind and retrieved her weapon.

Micha'el was still in the air and has shot down many of the flying Vardent with ease from the back of the one he had used as a kind of vehicle in the air. With one final look around he couldn't see anymore to send down to the ground for Lottie to dispatch off if they weren't already dead. So, with a breath he dismissed his crossbows and summoned a small circle of white runes on the back of the avian monster's back. They glowed profusely against it's black and green skin as he jumped off the back. Lottie looked up as she dispatched of the last small fry and saw Micha'el descending the skies. The last creature she was ready to take aim at and throw her weapon, but instead she saw the skies light up white for a second as a spear of divine energy crashed down on the creature and purged it right there and then. "Yeah! Team Sun!" Lottie jumped for joy, then noticing the large serpentine creature circling them ever tighter. But as Micha'el landed they both saw it. Tsuna and Aoi in the air, with some kind of plan.

((I'll let Tsuna do her amazing finisher here, Lottie will most definitely jump for joy and Aoi will be glad to have somehow helped, even if the jump was a bit sudden lmao. But i'm gonna add what happens next down ;D ))

With the floating serpent dealt with, Team Sun felt victory in their hands. But only for a short time. From the woods came a single new figure. This one hooded, with strange black leathery armour fitted all over it's body. It had glowing purple eyes and a tall black and purple staff made of obsidian in it's hand. "Vardent?" Micha'el questioned, but he didn't get a second guess as the figure swiped it's staff. From just behind them crystallised green magic shot down on them like shards of glass. Micha'el summoned up a shield just in time to help them. But then the figure spun his staff around, a purple aura gathering above him. He brought it down and the aura collided with the ground next to Team Sun as Micha'el let down his shield. It spread over the grass and though it did not harm them, the grass began to wilt. But none of them could shake off the sound of the skies breaking open, like ameteor breaking the sound barrier. Looking up, Aoi stared on in horror as a hurling black and purple mass was coming down to meet them. Aoi let out a scream and Micha'el shouted "get out of the way!".

It came down so suddenly that they barely avoided direct hit, but the shock still send them flying as earth flew up around them. The meteor was small, perhaps only the size of the four of them together but it's force was so powerful it send dark purple magic across the ground like veins of purple blood. Aoi was sent the furthest from them, she stood back up onto her feet at the top of the hill, looking at the others on the bottom of the hill, on the other sie of the dark mass the man called down on them. She watched as he pulled his staff into two, and revealed that each half was concealing a long thin blade on their tips. "No" Aoi let out. She watched as the curling purple magic summoned up evil vines of natures that were attempting to claw at the rest of her team. Lottie was distracted by them the most, yelling "don't touch me!" as she swiped tenfold with her glaive. Micha'el was preoccupied attempting to purge the ground around them with his Aria's divine magic. "I have to help them!" Aoi told herself, looking to Tsuna and hoping, praying this would earn her trust.

Aoi held out her staff, the bottom tip then seemed to unfurl a cone of gold metal that let her staff stand up by itself. She clasped a hold of her staff with both hands and closed her eyes. As her lips neared the arcane ball the essense of the Star well within began to come alive, as if attempting to reach out to her and being stopped by the walls of the ball. She took in a deep breath and began her song.

Time To Go

"Someone calling you - someone calling you... can't you hear the voice." Her voice echoed out across the ground, even without the pieces in their ears it was as if her magic made her voice louder and more powerful. Her singing voice was beautiful, like velvet, like water spreading over the beach in a thin layer in the morning. Then, in a burst from Aoi a blue ball of magic echoed out and dispersed around her, vanishing after it rippled a little further from her. "Now it's time to go, can't you hear the voice. Now it's time to go... show your bravery!" Lotties eyes lit up as suddenly she saw her body light up with arcane energy before fading away just as quickly, the same happened to Micha'el and Tsuna as they felt their bodies fill with energy. "...Empower..." Aoi whispered to herself in a pause of her singing, the grass around her rippled outwards as she then continued to sing, a smile on her face as her eyes closed in the moment. "Oh... my.... GOD! HER POWER IS SINGINGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!" Lottie seemed to squeal so loudly, holding her hands and weapon to her chest and running on the spot with joy. As their enemy ran towards them and finally got close, it jumped into the air and landed in the middle of the space ebtween all of them. His burst of unnatural magic would have toppled them, but it seemed like their skin glowed blue in resistance to his attack and Aoi sung louder. Her magic, her unique gift was that through her voice she could lend her power to others. Right now, she was empowering them and making their strength and endurance more powerful. It glossed over them like an invisible shell. "I'll defend Aoi, you two do your thing!" Micha'el called out, then jumping away and running to Aoi, summoning his Aria and casting all the protecting spells he could think of that could protect her. It wasn't until now that he realised how valuable an asset to the team she might be.

Lottie stood there, attempting to control herself, staring over the figure's shoulder and at Tsuna on his other side. The man stood there with a face that was hard to make out, but his eyes glowed purple and lines ran down his cheeks in the same colour. Lottie awaited Tsuna's command, being the leader and the one with the tactics usually! The man then took command of his own, holding up his weapons and stabbing them into the ground as he lowered his body. From the earth erupted geysers of purple energy that woul demolish anything above them. One at a time on either sie a new geyser erupted closer and closer to Lottie and Tsuna. They would have to move quick.

((im sorry if any of this is jumbled up badly, but i hope you finally like Aoi's ability :3)

If someone were to ask us, "Who's this all for?" We'd laugh, and say, "Our egos."

Tsuna Miki

Aoi didn't seem confident in her own abilities to conjure up a simple glyph to catapult them over the monsters. Yet, she obliged to Tsuna's insane whim and held out her wand that magically transformed into a silver staff. The one-winged crystal automatically doubled in size and a brilliant ball of arcane energy emerged at the tip. It spiraled down the staff's exterior charging it full of overflowing arcane magic. The staff sparked with life and although Tsuna hated to admit it, she found it sensational. She released the girl to let her preform her magic watching her twirl that staff hypnotically before pointing it at the ground. Blue wisps seeped into the grass blades below and within seconds runes illuminated and took shape. Tsuna wasn't expected prepared herself for what was going to happen next, but reacted on impulse when she noticed the magic recoil unstably. Grabbing Aoi, the platform flashed a fuchsia pink and aqua blue before launching them into the skies. Inches beneath them, two Vardents had failed to snatch them and ended up clashing into each other and then tumbling roughly into the dust they left behind.

High above, Tsuna could see the perilous battle and Lottie's victory streak over the Vardents. Lottie fluently sliced through the head of a beast Vardent with her burning-hot glaives as the chunks of flesh rolled past her. At the ends of the diced sections, the Vardent's insides glowed a neon purple as the rest of the body dissolved outwards from there. No wonder the Vardents were a mystery to the residents of this region; seeing how they disintegrate before anyone gets a chance to study them. Suddenly, a feline Vardent with glowing purple eyes and scaly skin with green glowing through the crevices of the scales appeared. Tsuna's lips trembled as she got ready to warn Lottie of the danger, but the brunette proved she could handle herself. The creature's first attempt to strike with its hind legs failed when Lottie conducted her glaives to defend herself in a circle pattern. Once she through she had scared it off, it twisted around and swiped at her with its talons. However, she acrobatically dodged and threw down her glaives penetrating the monster in its jugular and skewering the rest of its body to finish it off.

Micha'el still had control over the bird Vardent he had taken hostage earlier and was still shooting down as many avian Vardents as he could. Him and Lottie mascaraed them in record time and the only one left was the one Micha'el had ridden on. In one fatal swoop, he jumped off the Vardent, distancing him, before hurling a white spear of holy essence down onto the creature's back. It exploded in a flurry of purple dust as Micha'el descended to the ground. Lottie's cheers inspired Tsuna feeling the wind rush past her snarky grin. She glanced down at the clinging damsel and mouthed, trust me, and them quickly let her go. Instantly, Aoi dropped and popped into a bush while Tsuna traveled on coming down at full velocity onto the snake's tail. Clicking the practically invisible button on her hammer rod, the hammer head manically moved upwards until is was facing vertically. A intricately wielded axe appendage protruded out from the side of the hammer head and blazed a hellish red. Extended the axe out behind her, she slammed it with full force into the snake's scaled, green lined skin. The serpent's noddle-like form wiggled with anguish as she speed off run once her feet contacted the snake. She easily balanced herself and run along the snake's body dragging the axe from behind and ripping it's frame in two like a hot butter knife. Nearing the head, the beast pivoted to surprising her with an open jaw and dripping, poisonous fangs. Tsuna yanked the axe from its skin and spun forward ultimately killing the Vardent by brutally decapitating it. Its whole head and body dissolved in midair before it hit the ground make Tsuna miss the sickening, yet satisfying thud. She landed with a skid in her step before rejoining the others boisterously, her axe resting on her shoulders. "Did you see that action?"

Their victory was postponed when a new figure stepped out of the woods to intercept their path into the city. This Varden posed as a human, wrapped in black leather armor that fitted around his silhouette and carried a obsidian staff with dashes of purple on it. His menacing purple eyes glare at the group ominously and before they had time to question its identity, it waved its staff raining down shards of green crystallized magic behind them. Micha'el summoned a shield to protect them, but the Vardent was relentless as he got ready to send a second wave. Swinging his staff around, a gruesome purple and black storm gathered above the team and the dark aura affected the grass below, killing it. All the shrubby within five to ten meters from them began to wilt and dull in color as the cataclysm in the sky spread apart. A meteor descend down from the parting Hell and even if Micha'el hadn't canceled his tiny shield, it wouldn't have been enough to stop it. Aoi's deafening scream made Tsuna's stomach drop as the blonde advised them to run, but it was to late.

Although they all had avoided the impact the backslash from the crash was more than power enough to propel them back into the dirt. Aoi's light frame was thrown to the top of a hill furthest way from the Vardent while the other lay dominant at the bottom. Tsuna lifted her body from the wilted grass to see that the landscape had changed into a veins of purple blood that suddenly burst from the ground like vicious vines. They grabbed at the team below, Lottie irritatingly sliced at the vines and Micha'el purged the tainted ground around him. Meanwhile, Tsuna beat down her hammer before her sending at a ring of flames that charred any vine that tried to come in contact with her. Her striking blue eyes noticed the Vardent's staff also separated into two twin swords that intimidated the youngest member. The werewolf cocked her head back and eyes the child before shouting, "Aoi! Don't think, just act! Show me something incredible!" she shouted as she stomped her feet taking a threatening stance towards the enemy. From the corner of her vision, Aoi's staff unleashed a golden stand and signal to a microphone setup, she placed her lips close to the magic emanating crystal and sang.

The lyric as well as beat wasn't the kind of heavy metal music she was use too, but it had a since of charm and inspiration to it. Her voice echo harmoniously through the wasteland and as the tempo heightened, a ball of blue arcanic energy burst from the girl and rippled in the air before fading from existence. However, it hadn't vanished as the three below were outlined in blue filled with a new energy from their powerful team member. For a moment, Aoi paused her melody to let the power fully seep in before belting out her song in one rhythmic breath. Lottie thoroughly enjoyed the private concert as she squeaked and jumped for ecstatically while the Vardent lunged towards them and jumped landing in the gap between them. The Vardent assumed that they were distracted and tried to knock them down with another whip of energy, but the invisible magic barriers shielding them blocked its power. Micha'el valiantly vowed to protect Aoi with every blockade spell he possessed and Tsuna and Lottie would take the Vardent down.

Tsuna bared her canine fangs at the Vardent who waited for their assault first, but seemed to grow impatient as it stabbed its swords into the ground before him. He knelt down and summoned two erupting geysers of purple energy with more continuing to emerge towards them. Tsuna's hammer began to singe a burning read as if a black smith as just pulled out of the flames. She poured all of Aoi's borrowed magic into the weapon rising them temperature to release a huge wall of flames. Once she felt it was charged to her liking, the redhead rang towards the geysers and with one ferious swing an enormous wall of flames collided with the geysers. "AIM AND FIRE ONCE YOU HAVE A CLEARING LOTTIE!!!! DON'T YOU DARE MISS BECAUSE YOU ONLY HAVE ONE SHOT!" Tsuna shouted as she gave this finally attack all she had.

Someone's calling you, can't you hear the voice?
Now it's time to go, show your bravery.

The words, "I want to protect you," came flowing out of nowhere;
If you can put a stop to this feeling - this voice -
Then just try to break it!

Tsuna's final attack on the serpent had Aoi looking on in awe. She could never pull off something like that! But nevertheless, she didn't dwell on it. She was used to seeing others do a lot of the hard work, she has already struggled before she met her team at Merlin Academy. But she's learned she's better off on the back line!

Tsuna pulled off a surprise attack against the humanoid Vardent, fire erupting from her hammer in a massive wall against the foe's geysers. The two opposing energies battled against each other but in the end it was Tsuna's strength that won. Through the haze Lottie heard Tsuna give an order. In front of her eyes though the geysers were erupting ever closer, but she wasn't afraid. A plan hatched like a twinkle in her eye as she pulled a grin of excitement. "Gotcha!" she replied. Lottie immediately back flipped and made some distance between herself an the geysers. When she landed she watched the ground, timing it precisely for what the geyser would erupt in front of her. When it came for her she jumped up and held her glaive downwards. Around her spawned the spectral blades of the past. They were sworn to protect the wielder of the glaive, and until death will they move on to the next wielder. They spun fast enough to create a make-shift shield beneath her and when the geyser exploded she was shot up into the sky. "Wheee!" Lottie let out with a giggle, "alright!, I've got this!" Lottie spun around in the air as she began to end her ascent. Below she could see the black space the enemy had made. She could see him still facing off against Tsuna's fire and off to the side she could see a barrier of white concealing Aoi, still singing her song. She could feel it humming through her soul, as if for the briefest of moments they were all one being. "Crusade!" Lottie shouted out as if it was her last cry. She held her glaive backwards and all around her spawned the spectral blades again.

Lottie was now flying in the middle of a ring of ghostly blades, some broken, some perfect, a few longer than the others or wider than the last. One at a time she latched a hold of a random sword and hurled it down towards the ground at lightning speed as if it weighed a ton. Each one landed it's mark on the Vardent, joining together to form a spear-like weapon the size of a two-storey building. It wa like she was piecing together the shards of a greater blade. When it was just herself and her glaive left she let out a warcry and began descending towards the ground. The Vardent, overcome by Tsuna's fire by now and being pinned to the ground by Lottie' giant spear couldn't do anything to defend himself. When Lottie collided with the tip of her attack she smashed through each blade, snapping each one out of existence until she thrust her glaive through the Vardent's chest. The ground around her shattered into a spider-web and air blew out. Lottie breathed in heavily as she observed the enemy's body vanish away.

"Lonely hazy days... no more foggy nights..." Aoi's song ended just as the dust settled, all around her the arcane magic could be felt resting as it faded away. Micha'el let down his glowing white barrier and Aoi's staff reduced back to it's mic-wand form. "Did it!" Lottie called out, pulling her glaive free.

Tsuna Miki

Tsuna could barely hear Lottie's confirmation over the kindling flames fluctuating against the sprouting geysers. Glancing over her shoulder slightly, she watched Lottie acrobatically follow her command by distancing herself from the remaining geysers. Expertly conducting her glaives to spiral around her feet fast enough to create a shield to protect her from the burst of dark energy, she bravely jumped onto one of the geysers. It erupted precisely on time, and the girl was ascended into the skies proclaiming her enthusiastic spurts of optimism. Tsuna attention was averted soon after as the Vardent applied all the strength that he could muster in the hopes of pushing her back. Her heels scrapped against the wasteland as beads of sweat clung to her brow doing everything she could to keep him at bay. Once Lottie thrust her glaive back and summoned dozens of more spectral glaives, she declared her devastating attack and plunged down at the Humanoid Vardent.

Suspended in the air, Lottie surrounded herself with her phantom glaives, a lot of them fragments left behind from the users of the pasts, and a lot varying in different sizes. She grasped the hilt of a sword next to her and together connected the glaive to the sword to create one massive weapon. The silhouette eclipsed the blazing battlefield the weight of the weapon could be heard as it came crashing down to earth pinpointing its target. The tip penetrated the Vardent's robes and he broke concentration with Tsuna making it extremely for her flames to overwhelm it. As for the grand finale, Lottie collided into the other end of the weapon destructed the formation of glaives vanishing from existence until drove the glaive she was holding straight into its chest. The dry earth around her shattered and a wave of wind spewed outwards extinguishing Tsuna's dying flames.

Aoi finished her symphony as her mic reverted back into a wand and her magic fueling them retreated. Miche'al gradually canceled his glowing barrier while Lottie yanked her glaive from the ground leaving no trace of the Vardent behind. Tsuna exhaustively collapsed her hammer into a portal lump of lead with it handing out her side by a strap as she went of go retrieve her hat and jacket. Tucking in her animal appendages, she surveillanced the land once more before turning to the others and suggesting a hasty retreat. She knew they couldn't last through another battle so making their way to the city as fast as they could was their best option. "Let's hurry to the capital. I'm sure there's more Vardents lurking in the forest, but we need time to recuperate." She was sure no one would disregard her judgement and without further delay they all ran for it as quickly as they could.

Micha'el and Aoi grouped beside Tsuna as she scouted the immediate area for incoming enemies. A wave of calm wiped over them as they realised they were alone... for now. Micha'el was wondering just what they could have got themselves into. This new humanoid Vardent was much stronger than any of the others they've encountered in the past. Lottie stood beside them, brushing herself down and sheathing her glaive behind her back. She kept a mature face on as Tsuna announced they should head to the city.

With Tsuna's order they were making their way across the fields, climbing boulders to get a better view of the city that was climbing closer to them in the horizon with each stride. Aoi followed most closely with Micha'el, because for some reason she felt a sense of calm and friendliness from him. She didn't want to get on Tsuna's nerves so she kept out of her way, and Lottie although mature and fast-thinking at the moment, was still excitable from the last battle. "Hey" Aoi said to Micha'el, but loud enough for the others to hear, "do you guys see that?" Aoi pointed towards a group of moving figures on the back of some animals. There were about a dozen of them heading straight towards them. Team Sun kept themselves close at the hill top, from here Sunspire was closer than ever, perhaps about 15 minutes walk away from here. The golden spires stretched into the sky, around the top were rings of golden that floated in the air, above some of the towers were glistening shards of gold, orange or white light. They seemed to absorb the sun's natural light and reflect it softly. The city walls were taller than any they've seen before, made of cream stone and decorated with gold.

The group ahead seemed to be soldiers from the city on the back of feathered mounts. They stopped at the bottom of the hill, where there were tall, thin bushes and a bench. Micha'el had to ask himself why it would be placed in the middle of a field, but then aagin, he has read that the Sun Elves enjoy luxuries more than most other elves do. One of the soldiers continued on the back of his mount towards them. As it got closer Micha'el could tell the beast was something like a giant bird. It had long legs with claws like a hawk, it's body could be similar to an ostrich, but far more elogant. It's feathers were bright and colourful, this particular one being bright shades of purple and pink. It had a great orange beak, and bright green eyes that stared down at you begrudgingly. The soldier himself had long flowing blond hair, his eyes glowed slightly white, just like the crystals. He had tan skin. His armour was mostly red plate with golden trim, including red leather of the highest quality where the plate did not touch. In one arm was a long narrow shield of similar design and a glowing gem in the middle, this one the colour of the sun. His ears seemed pointier than the Star Elves, and their eyebrows seemed to extend majestically behind the edge of their faces. He stopped a few feet from them and for a moment stared down at them. Micha'el noticed how they seemed to be looked down upon, and although the elf didn't seem unhappy with them, he looked pretentious nonetheless. His shoulders were pulled back with proper posture and his chin only lowered when he addressed them. "Team Sun?" he asked, "It is a good sign that you arrived survived. We saw the Vardent attack from the city and came to defend our vale as soon as we saw the meteor strike."
"It's not like the Vardent are usually something to worry about. You might want to hire some gardeners though..." Lottie shrugged her shoulders, remembering the hole in the ground and the sprayed dirt. "Our treelings will tend to the grounds."
"Excuse me" Aoi then added, holding up a finger. The Sun Elf turned his head to face her from atop his mount, "I would just like to warn you that there appears to be a disruption field to portals entering your city, we-" The elf let out a small guffaw, a deep rumbling sound in his throat before he said "that is not a warning, the enchantment defends our city from unwanted guests. You're lucky you weren't dropped outside of our borders completely. "

If someone were to ask us, "Who's this all for?" We'd laugh, and say, "Our egos."

Tsuna Miki

They scurried up the mountain of boulders to get a glimpse of the city up ahead. Tsuna leaped from rock to rock using her firm, muscled calves to launch herself forward with Lottie galloping close behind. Aoi clung to Micha'el seeing how he was the more sensitive one of the bunch. However, the child stayed out of Tsuna's way like she was told too, yet she spoke when necessary. Sunspire was within walking distance from where they stood planted on top of the hill as a swarm of soldiers below came for them. Tsuna picked up the scent of the animal's they were mounted on from there, but ignored the army for a moment to admire the gorgeously city. The cream golden trim walls kept everything and everyone contained with the haven. Towers tipped with golden spikes and floating rings around it stretched up into the skies while the autumn colored crystals reflected warm light on the rooftops below.

The pitter patter of jogging claws catch her attention as she glared down at the one solider advancing upwards. He passed the random bench in the middle of the field surrounded by foliage which made Tsuna think about how lazy these elves are. As he approached, she noticed he was riding on the back of a pink and purple feathered bird with long, agile legs to traverse any terrain. Its orange beak was closed shut with a leather muzzle that extended into reigns for the rider to hold. The saddle was furnished with the same material with brass buttons lining the edge of the seat. The emerald eyes of the creature squinted, as if it was appalled by their unusual presence. The rider was equally fashionable, his tan skin contrasted with his stark blonde hair and whiteish crystal eyes. His armor shimmered a furious red supported by tough leather soaked in the richest red dyes. He bore an elongated shield in one hand, it matches the gold calligraphy on his armor along with a jewel embezzled in the middle. His pointed ears slanted more outward and his eyebrows pulled around the curvature of his face and were naturally maintained. Stiffing his shoulders back and looking down upon the team condescendingly, he addressed them briskly. He seemed mutual to them surviving the attack, but was more concerned with protecting his own people and defending their land.

Lottie inadvertently referred to the Vardent as nothing short of a nuisance and worried about the damage to the ground instead. The elves was far from bothered with it and assured that he would send specialist to tend to it. Oddly, Aoi voiced her concern about the portal dropping them off in the danger zone. Not surprisingly though, the elf scolded lightly and confirmed that it was a persecution to keep intruded at bay and that they were lucky to be dropped off within border limits. Tsuna held in a laugh and smirked at the guard, "So its true then. You're people are paranoid. To be wary of a group of children is silly, but given your history's background I guess its understandable. Is your leader superstitious as well?" After Tsuna had practically insulted him, the bird turned to her a attempted a squawk in order to defend its master. Her wolf ears curled back under her hat and she growled low baring her fangs at the beast.

Theme Song

The Sun Elf's laughter and cockiness was silenced as soon as Tsuna opened her mouth. Aoi saw how the man's jaw tightened at the mention of being paranoid. Furthermore Tsuna's analysis of being afraid of kids and their background made the man's eyes flutter a darker shade of orange. When the Dawnstrider stepped forwards and squawked it's deep vocal chords at her the elf did nothing to stop it.

Micha'el noticed how this animal was the only one with a muzzle, all the others could be seen further back without them, they only had saddles. The Sun Elf then slipped off the Dawnstrider and landed without a thud or false moment. Instead he was instantly moving around the beast and standing before Tsuna, standing much taller than any of them. His eyes went dull as he warned "we do not suffer fools easily - Therian. You would know that if you weren't somehow an outsider to your own kind. Perhaps you know what it's like to have your own kind turn their back on you. Or were you the deceiver?" The elf's expression went from vacant and irritated to accomplished in seconds. He took a step back to explain further to the others, "Our King is the most worthy of the Sunborne, and you will all do well to adhere to the city during your stay. We will not offer such hospitality again, and the King will not hesitate to lock you out."
"We're very sorry" Micha'el intervened before anyone else could say anything. He looked around at them briefly before looking back to the elf, "Tsuna does not mean to be rude. We are more than thankful that you have invited us to your capital."
"You are forgiven" he replied, "I am Lord Canae'daras Sunsworn. I am the Royal Protector of King Al'thaes Sol. You will follow us into Sunspire to be introduced to the King. "

Tsuna Miki

The Sun Elf's eyes turned a furious orange from his change of mood from being on top but rapidly crashing down to the bottom. She thought her intimidation would be superior against his, however, she was about to be prove wrong. He stiffly slipped off the side of his misbehaved Dawnstrider, hence the reason it was muzzled unlike the others, he rounded the animal to confront Tsuna. Compared to her teammates Tsuna stood the tallest, but to the elf, she was reduced to a worm on a hook ready to be feed to the sharks. His eyes dulled in intensity as he spat out her harshly and even dared to use her own race against her. As vile and condescending as his words may be, they weren't far from the truth. Although she kept a straight face and puffed out her chest in pride, the comeback put her on edge. Her fist tightened and the sound of rubbing leather could be heard. Her jaw clamped together, but she still managed to reply in return, "I guess you'll find out who I am soon." she said with bated breath.

As he eyes again changed from a spectrum of colorful emotions, he made himself that they will obey the rules of this city and that their hospitality is a one time deal. Before she could interjected, Miche'al quickly made peace between the two and practically losing all sense of dignity! Tsuna rolled her eyes and crossed her arms in defiance, she wouldn't submit so easily. For now though, she accept Lord Canae'saras Sunsworn's "forgiveness" and follow him into the Sunborne to meet King Al'thaes Sol.

╔════____════Aoi Celeste════____════╝
Someone's calling you, can't you hear the voice?
Now it's time to go, show your bravery.

The words, "I want to protect you," came flowing out of nowhere;
If you can put a stop to this feeling - this voice -
Then just try to break it!

((Since I'm currently using mum's data to write this i can't post link to youtube xD For flavour, however, feel free to search for Silvermoon City music from World of Warcraft :3))

"We will, thank you" Micha'el said, a certain weight to his breath. He couldn't express how glad he was that the conversation didn't become more sour. After spending half the trip to Otherearth with Tsuna he had learned her ego and short temper could land them in trouble. But he was glad someone in the team was fierce. Lottie let out a small noise of excitement, "the king? Wow, I didn't bring my elegant dress."

Canae'daras was already pivoting and mounting his Dawnstrider when Lottie had started to speak. The Dawnstrider let out a small, low rumbling squark and ruffled it's feathers under his command to turn around. It's giant bird-like feet turned and began covering the space between them and the rest of the Sunspire guards. Aoi double-took a few times between Team Sun and the guards before finally following. "Micha'el" she said, knowing that they had a little privacy again, Canae'daras and his men made sure to stay several paces ahead or several paces behind them. "You have an impressive way with words" she said softly, "are you leader or a rep at Hope Academy?" Micha'el let out a small exhale through his nose and almost smiled, "No, nothing like that. But you could say it's like trying to better your siblings"
"You don't even have any siblings, Micha'el" Lottie intervened from over her shoulder. "I know... " was his only reply as Lottie went not to small-talk with Tsuna about the scenery and not to mention all the weapons the Sun elves might have. Micha'el stared at the grass moving beneath him, he could feel the weight of his brother on his back again. There was only a small time when he truly believed his brother had been defeated somehow. Back when the sky was filled with dozens of full moons. He knew it was Zoltan. But it was all reversed, and suddenly not even his own mother knew who Zoltan was.

He knew someone had stopped his plan. But somehow... he didn't feel like Zoltan was dead.

When they arrived the vale was completely different. The grass leading to the monolithic cream and gold stone gates was evenly cut short. Paths of cream stones spilled from the city and to reach the gate a bridge of stone had to be crossed. It didn't cover water though, it created a shady area with more chairs, sofas, books on hovering tables and ... a cat? Micha'el could definitely see a siamese-like cat curled up on the sofa, out of the direct light of the sun. On either side of the gates were tall, gargantuan statues. Each one was a sun elf. Canae'daras and his men said nothing as they lead them through the gates and suddenly they were spilled into the city's largest street.

"Woh" Micha'el had to hold his breath, everything looked so rich and regal. The buildings towered on either side, even where the path forked further ahead. It made the street look more like a corridor than an open area. Every doorway into the buildings was covered in either red, purple or cream material hanging at the top of the arch. You could almost se through it into the rooms behind too. The cream path was lined with gold, and beyond the gold was red stone. Street lamps were glowing white crystals on a tall podium. There were benches too, and nearby each one would usually be a levitating circular table or a plant pot with a tall green shrub. There were even a couple more cats, one strolling by further ahead with a white coat and black ears, another with an entirely ginger coat. It looked like the cats shared that same sophisticated and judging look on their faces as their masters. Guards lined most street exits or alley beginnings, some even stood outside doorways to buildings. Usually the ones with signs on them, advertising what they sold.

The Sunburn were quite the spectacle. All of them were tall, none too fat or too slim, they were all elegantly proportioned as if following a strict code of image. They varied in mostly long hair styles of black, ginger, blonde or white. Their eyes were more often than note a faint glowing white or orange. Most of them, if not wearing armour, wore robes made from the finest materials that could be found across Otherearth. Unlike their cousins, the Star Elves, they were clothes that stood out, clothes that spat in your face with elegance and grace and money. But Micha'el realised money couldn't be much of a focus here, since everyone dressed like it. No, it was what their culture was. They just so happened to enjoy the regal things in life. They walked passed several of the sunborne, a few of them besides them laughing about something with well-spoken accents, then letting out a guffaw to each other. As Canae'daras passed them the male elf said to him "Dash'anu Val Anore." The female, with a ponytail-made-graceful of blonde hair turned to Team Sun and said "May the Sun guide you through our home, less find yourself lost and afraid". Micha'el quite honestly couldn't tell if that was a welcome or a warning.

Eventually they were lead into a tall narrow archway, it towered above them. At the top of the arch was a shard-like crystal, glowing with the pure white light of the sun. It emanated a little warmth as they passed into another street. This was was darker, the red stone beyond the gold was replaced with purple, and the lighting was minimal. The street was closed off from the sky, giving it a mellow feel. Beyond it another archway after slope, and there was the largest area in the city.

When they emerged into the sun again they were met with a glorious monolith. It was a floating shard of crystal, much like the others. It hovered over what could be described as a bottomless well in the centre. It almost seemed to hum if you focused enough. The wide path extended on either side, more buildings along the edges. Finally Canae'daras spoke as he lead them around the structure. "This is the Heart of Sunspire. It is the mother of the other crystals amongst the city."
"What does it do?" asked a curious Lottie. "It brings us control" came Canae'daras' reply. He stopped them just as they arrived at another bridge. This one extended over an even larger, bottomless, walled pit. On either side the bridge was lined with guards, and at the end was a tall archway leading into what seemed like a palace made entirely of tall towers. "If you would wait here, the King will come to greet you" Canae'daras said as he began to traverse the bridge with his Dawnstrider. The other guards that were with him wandered off to another part of the city. As they waited, a guard on the edge of the bridge noticed Tsuna and his judgeful gaze set upon her. "The sun welcomes you, daughter of the moon" he said, surprisingly friendly, he then set his eyes across the others and said nothing before returning to his duty of standing in place. "Check you out" Lottie said with a nudge to Tsuna's side "looks like the Therians have a good relationship with the Sun Elves over here"

Tsuna Miki

Micha'el was successful in sucking up to the elf while Lottie's concerns were directed more to her appearance then their goal on this mission. Tsuna rolled her eyes at the girl's narcissistic comment and began to reluctantly follow Canae'daras on his Dawnstrider. The beast ruffled its feathers in response before stepping forward, crushing the grass under it's large talons. The guards surrounding them eventually strolled a few feet away from them allowing the team to converse privately. Aoi noticed Micha'el impressive communication and persuasion skills and wondered if he lead any groups at school. He was popular among most of their peers unlike her, however, he also made an effort to understand people instead of shutting them out. The blonde humbly declined and brought up a sibling which she assumed he was the only child because he's never mentioned anything about his family until this moment. She was intrigued until Lottie shattered his alternate reality which Tsuna believed that he was hiding something. The was he brushed her off triggered a spark in the wolf that made her want to know Micha'el better. Now wasn't the time to deepen their bonds seeing how they were being observed from all sides. Tsuna indulged Lottie by engaging in her subject of weaponry that the Sun Elves possess and replied, "Yeah. They're full of surprises..."

Passage into the city was a little to extravagant seeing how meticulously the grass was trimmed and the high quality construction of the cream and gold stone gate. As extra flare, in order to enter the city there was a stone bridge that you had to walk across. The bridge wasn't built over water either, under the shaded area was a lounge complete with table and chair sets. Lastly, just to pour more salt into Tsuna's wounded ego there was a siamese cat curled up on the sofa. Her animalistic instincts began to activate causing her to growl to establish dominance.

Luckily, her attention was easily diverted from the vermin as she looked out in the multiple pathways the roads lead to. Building of the finest structure towered farther than the eye could see and each door frame was enhanced with their own crystals. The entrances to the buildings were kind of transparent so you know what you're walking into before hand. Under the brilliant glow of the white crystal lit street lamps, past the cream, golden trimmed stone path that faded into the red path, was more lounging areas. By the benches tables magically hovered and were decorated with flower pots or a shrub replacement. Of course, much to her digression, more cats making her hair stand on edge as the beasts stared her down judgmentally. Aside from the cats, guards patrolled almost everywhere in the city, in front of alleys, businesses, and even did a bit of advertising. The crammed atmosphere and minimal lack of freedom was making her feel nauseous.

The citizen were dressed with the highest standards for grace and elegance wearing shimmering robes of satin, lace, and heavily detailed brocade. Their glossy hair unraveled past their lower backs and their eyes all glowed white with a hint of burning orange in the middle. The culture was more than she could handle considering she didn't have much expect the clothes on her back and a powerful weapon at her side. After some time, they ventured through a lineup of sunborne guards, wondering if they were criticizing the team for their own enjoyment, while Canae'daras was greeted by a male elf. The female elf with the voluminous blonde hair turned them and stated a greeting or a potential threat. Tsuna frowned and continued to walk down the street with a narrow archway bathing them in a warm like emitted by the white crystals hanging above. From there though, the pathway darkened and the red stone blended into a dark purple. The lights dimmed the tunnel they had proceeded into, but the relaxing ambiance didn't last long as they slopped downwards into the largest part of the city.

Once the fanned out into the sunlight, Tsuna squinted at the crystal shard floating above the chasm in the center of town. Widened paths stretched out around the edges of the chasm and more buildings paved the ways. Surprisingly, Canae'daras actually decided to acknowledge them on something about their pleasant city after being a dull tour guide. However, the "Heart of Sunspire" as he called it, showed her nothing more than their greed and ambitions to harbor more authority. Finally, they all halted at a bridge lingering over a bottomless pit with guards lining the entrance to the palace. Canae'daras commanded that they stay put and wait for the king as he rode his Dawnstrider onward into the palace. Tsuna crossed her arms agitated and glanced at the guards uncomfortably until one of them addressed her. His comment sounded friendly enough, but Tsuna could see past his rebuking remark. Lottie was pretty much oblivious to omens like these and nudged Tsuna playfully thinking things were looking up for her. Tsuna grimaced and gave the girl an annoyed shove back. "You don't look every well do you? His words may have been accepting, but his eyes said otherwise. I can already tell I'm not going to like this trip." she replied in a pouting tone.
