"As you wish, Lunear."
Nervit was oddly charmed by the young blueblood, despite her innate fear of those above her. As for handshakes, Nervit had been taught that short and firm was the way to go - and she was impressed by Lunear's. A little firmer than expected perhaps, but then he was a highblood, but very prompt. Secretly, she was rather flattered he was paying attention to her when there were so many others in the room more interesting (in her opinion - especially that seadweller with all the pretty jewelery, or the strangely-shabbily dressed blueblood! The greenblood's hair was interesting too, what an exquisite pompadour...) than her.
Nervit nodded in relation to the question about the gerbils. "The weather debacle was awful ; I didn't go on the expedition myself - my gerbils were a gift. But yes, Chamomile was very affectionate."
Gift perhaps wasn't the right word. Nervit had been milling around when some blueblooded child had seen her and dumped one on her with a brisk instruction to "care for it or something, you look like you'd be good at that." And well, she had been! Chamomile was in great shape - chubby but not too chubby, and all in all a healthy little gerb.
When the arm was offered, Nervit browned a little, perceptible if you were looking closely, before taking the arm and nodding again.
"That would be wonderful."

Milieu yawned as she walked into the back area. So many gerbils! They were adorable and so so so squishy. She considered picking up her own, but seeing as Apollo was sleeping and Mercedes was nibbling happily at some seeds, she decided against it. There were others there and it made the young troll very worried. Instead of approaching anyone yet, she tied her spot and sat down. A pen in one hand and a pad of paper in the other, Mili started to doodle some ideas for the best, cutest, most awesome gerb outfit to ever grace the eyes of trolls ever.

Ah perhaps not so easily wrapped into politics and the whole.. rebellion or not rebellion status quo. "A gift? Well, a good one indeed then! The gerbils have proven to be delightful companions- I assume you feel the same- they are so adoring." Nearby, Gabiel and Marian had curled up and begun to snooze in their small rolled sleepy time shapes of as he liked to call 'Ball Mode'. "As for the weather I'm glad it's been cleared up. We don't need that sort of randomness and unpredictability destabilizing anything. There is business to be done, quests to be completed, and these days? Games to be won!" Another wink. Friendly competition and all. Arm taken, Lunear strode towards Milieu. Ah yes, that one from the whole... affair. "Doing well I hope?" He knew she's not be able to really answer but- "Nervit, this is the lovely Milieu. Who I take it is also a fellow competitor?"

Mili smiled politely when someone approached. Ah, it was Lunear and Nervit. Nodding to the two, she carefully flipped the page and started to write a new message. | It's a pleasure to see you both again. I met Nervit some time ago, actually. Yes, my two gerbils are Mercedes and Appollo.
What do you think of this event? I'm surprised.|

Lunear grinned as she brought out her paper. Somethings never did change did they? But then, it was kind of nice to just know there was something he could count on, unlike the whole statistics of what could possibly be the risks of these races and what not. "Oh? Well then, glad to hear, or rather read it. Both of you.. good trolls as far as I can tell. That and oh? Let's see here." Lunear took a peek over to Mili's pair. Ah yes, good times, that desert. "Interesting names. Mine are Gabiel and.." He coughed, "Marian. I uh- well it sounded fitting at the time. The event is well done. Organized, captivating. Expect the hosts are going to rolling in the beetles after this whole thing."

Nervit opened her mouth to say something, probably about the fact she'd already met Milieu, but she quickly shut it again when the other female began to write - it was rude to interrupt after all, even if the others speech was non-verbal. Waiting patiently she nodded as the notebook was shown, and flashed a small smile at the mute troll.
"We have met before, yes. It's nice to see you again, Milieu!" She bobbed a one-handed curtsy, careful not to jog Lunear's arm as she did so. Then came gerbil talk. She waited for Lunear to reply first as was proper when dealing with those higher-blooded than you before proffering her own gerbil's name.
"My gerbil's named Chamomile in the hopes of calming her down. It...hasn't worked so far."
She was a hyper little thing, Chamomile.

Nervit was behaving to Lunear, like the most well behaved low blood he'd ever encountered and dang she was winning all the points with him. "........." though Why she insisted on bowing to everyone (so far just him and Milieu) was a bit much. Really now, he could understand why any troll would bow to him, but to others? Not every troll was worth bowing to, (sorry Milieu). "Chamomile? Ah well... Some gerbils just might not live up to expectations. Sadly. Unfortunately." As the hopefully brave Gabiel had turned into a pile of napping fat cuteness and not a thing to be feared in the face of danger. He tended to shy away and seek shelter- usually in Lunear's pockets. "Have you tried feeding it something different? Marian and Gabiel have very different tastes- and Gabiel can be very, very picky."

Chamomile the gerbil was adorable! Mili imagined a tiny little hyper gerbil, those multi-legs flapping around crazily. How cute would that be? Answer: Very cute. Very cute indeed. | Chamomile sounds very cute! I would love to see her.
Oh! Yes, Mercedes likes seeds more than Apollo. Apollo seems to enjoy cheese more than anything. I've been trying to tempt them into training with some treats but that hasn't really worked... |
Pausing for a moment, she continued on, her neat scrawl ravenously consuming the paper, | Yes whoever decided on this event will be rather rich. These docile little pets are the perfect things for us. I hope when we grow older they will allow us to keep them. It will be very sad to have to part with them, now that we have spent so much time adjusting and caring for them...|
