Massalia was certainly taken when it came to learning how to fight. As Ashur shared what he could about fighting with the young senshi, he could tell that the boy was doing his best to commit the information to memory, taking considerations about where and when to practice, who to practice with, among other details that the Page touched on as they went about the lesson. He tried to teach him how to aim purposefully, passing on knowledge that he'd learned only recently, and how to handle himself during a fight.

"You should also keep in mind that you don't need to fight alone," he went on, hands held up and palms opened toward the Chibi Senshi to act like those mitts that boxing trainers wear. "Nothing wrong with needing backup, especially if you're going against someone you know is definitely stronger than you or if you're outnumbered."

Massalia listened, focusing on Ashur's words carefully, taking it all in, as he thought of who he could fight with. Ganymede and Oberon possibly - Avior if he saw him! and....

His chest clenched in panic thinking about Subra and Almary, and Massalia gave pause. Sure, they'd both go out with him - but who'd protect the two if they came? They were so NEW and NAIVE to things! and the young senshi suddenly paused, drawing in slightly and shivered.

"I.. I don't want anyone hurt with me, though." He said quietly.

The sudden change in the chibi's tone of voice surprised him somewhat, and Ashur couldn't help but feel like the kid was a little too...nice? Maybe was the term. He was genuinely worried, which the Page did take note of as he lowered his hands onto the boy's shoulders. "I can't promise that no one's gonna get hurt," the Page tried to explain, an apologetic sort of smile on his face. "But you can't protect them if you don't know what you're doing in a fight in the first place, so start there for now and work your way up."

Ash put his hands up again, crouching slightly so Massalia could reach easily. "With that kind of motivation, though, I get the feeling you should be okay once you get the hang of things..."

"I promised to protect them." Massalia said quietly. "They didn't get many details either. So.... When I found out..." Massalia trailed off a bit. "You'll help me get better fighting, right? you promise?"

Ash stayed in his position and listened to the senshi go on for a bit longer, but when he finally came to the Page could only nod. "I'll do my best," was his reply, his lips turned up slightly into a small smile. "Count on it."
