Welp so much for that.
Jaysen sighed, running a gloved hand through short choppy hair. "You wish that was what happened." The blonde grunted. "I got frisked, again for the second time that night I'll have you know, and choked with my hair. On top of the assignments I received." The blonde waved a hand as she turned towards her bike, not caring if Clary followed or not. "I hate the color white."

Clarisse wavered for a moment, and then followed, a half-smile on her face. "You are aware that it'll still be horrendously long when you power up, yes?" She asked lightly. "It won't grow in your civilian form, but any time you change...boom, acres of hair." Perhaps the most frustrating part about being a corrupt.
"Good to know you wouldn't consider it though - I'd really hate to actually have to drag you back or kill you. Not fun for either of us, really."

"Very much so. That's probably the one thing I hate about this side. How come no one else gets a feature that grows." She grumbled as she strapped the bag down securely. "Noooo, gotta be the only coven in the whole damn thing with ******** seven feet of hair. ******** you whoever thought that was a fabulous idea."
The blonde snorted as she sat on the bike. "Oh please. Like you could kill me and you know it. Gabriel said that same thing. And I'll tell you what I told him. You won't kill me because of Lance."

Clarisse shrugged. "I dunno, I think it's kinda fascinating. We also have the holes, and Dark Mirrors don't...I wonder why?" She shrugged. It was strange, how easily she had shifted to more light and casual conversation.
"Also, I'm missing eighteen years of baggage with Lance that Gabriel's carrying aorund. I don't remember him. He's been kind to me since my little switch, but..." She shrugged, and then reached out to squeeze Jaysen's arm. "Try not to get yourself killed by anyone else, either."

"The gaping holes I don't mind. The several extra feet of hair was annoying." The blonde shrugged. "Nope. So all you're left with is that those two are important to you. So you wouldn't do s**t to upset either of them." Her lips twitched slightly. "Including but not limited to killing a sister."
"Everyone dies Clarisse. Who are you to govern who can or can not kill me? Or even the fashion death finds me? Are you claiming my death for yourself with that little statement?" Jaysen jerked her arm back from the girl before turning the bike on. "How do you know I haven't promised it to someone else by now? I will not die when, where or how you want me too."

Clarisse shrugged. "Valar morghulis. May your death come on your terms, then, Jaysen, and no one else's." Alright, so maybe this wasn't the best time to quote Game of Thrones, but as far as she was concerned, there was never a bad time.
She turned around, giving Jay a last wave. "I just want you to stay safe, that's all! I promise, no ulterior motive."

"Valar dohaeris, Stark." She couldn't help but grin when the girl turned and gave her a wide eye stare. With that, Jaysen slipped her helmet over her head and revved the bike exactly once. She gave Clary a two fingered salute before speeding off.
