In an attempt to get out more and do things Aldara had found herself wandering by the auditorium. She had passed it once, circled around, passed it twice... And then finally given up to go inside.
Her eyes had widened at how strange everything was inside. Weren't humans for scaring? What exactly was DETH? These were all questions that she should have asked before proceeding inside, but upon spotting two sets of familiar colors amongst the others she figured it couldn't be that bad.
Without approaching either of the two, she headed to the front to pick up her form first, putting a solid check next to the movie of her choice.
Corpse Bride
It sounded like a romantic film. Nothing wrong with a little romance, right?

What better way to get to know people than by filing into an auditorium with them? No better way, he thought to himself with a smile. Smoothing his fingers over his coat and taking a moment to adjust his cravat, Tenniel intended to stride in as though be belonged there.
Instead he wound up sneaking around the edges, brushing quietly past people until he could claim his own pencil and piece of paper, checking off the movie of his choice before handing it back in.
Beetlejuice
Maybe it was a movie about cocktails.

Olivia figured the text must have bee very important for her to receive it at all in the first place, so she arrived of course the next day into the auditorium where everything was set up. It didn't hurt that she rather enjoyed movies, even though she had only seen so many. But they were fun and interesting and a human one - again! - seemed like something she would want to see.
And the projector screen they had set up so so very neat! The ghoul marveled at it as she just sort of walked along, not noticing the DETH propaganda at first. Just went with the flow and soon enough found herself staring at a list of movies to choose from. And got a little sad having to actually choose - though, she had already seen one of them.
In the end though, she chose Shaun of the Dead, thinking it was perhaps some man named Shaun's adventures in being dead. The cover provided seemed to suggest otherwise, but she had some hope!
- - - - - -
It would have been easier to ignore the text message, it seemed like something that had been sent enmass anyways. But, with the lack of anything else to do that night besides more homework or reading, the young witch decided that perhaps a movie might be a little different. (And they mentioned prizes. Not like she figured herself to actually win anything). Especially one created by humans - despite some hesitations of the material she might see. What if what they created was terrible?
But she arrived anyways, biting her lower lip as she slipped inside the auditorium and looked at all that greeted her. Huh, this had been put on by DETH. She let out a small hum, eyeing their decorations of human cut outs covered in glitter and simply proceeded where she needed to go.
Looking over the list, Maple debated her choices, unsure about any of them and eventually settled on Cabin in the Woods. Seemed harmless, right?

He followed Pachua's gaze towards the teachers, tilting his head slightly.
"Perhaps the movies are...bad?" he asked musingly, tugging on a strand of his hair.

Eyephones were a curse and Mathias still had no idea what had provoked him into purchasing one. The damn thing was always beeping and buzzing at him, telling him he had screamail and text messages though he barely even knew how to check either. Most of it was just junk, but he read it all, and even in some cases, investigated them further. Like in this case, where he found himself in the auditorium, looking as grumpy and uncomfortable with his surroundings as usual, his eyes downcast for the most part as he gave the posters side long glances, his arms crossed over his chest, his gaze sliding along the legs of gathered students, wondering if he might recognize a pair. With a huffing sigh, he dug his phone out, and tapped at the screen a few times with long claws, then proceeded to attempt to type out a message to the one student he felt most comfortable around that he could not see here. Grey Dragon Text to Jove: Is goings on in auditorium. Am here. Where are you? Maybe would like meeting here. It was so awkward, and his face was flushing red by the time he hit the send button, before he resolutely stared at his phone and waited for a response.

Jove had been out in the woods when his phone started barking. His first thought had been for his brother, the gryphon loved to send him text messages at the weirdest time. And frequent text messages too. It was rare Jove got them from anyone else. Which was why, upon seeing the name of the sender, his ears perked significantly. Not that he knew 100% what his friend was talking about. But if Mathias was that the auditorium, and something interesting was happening... A couple minutes later the pup was in the auditorium, staring suspiciously at the DETH posters, and looking for a familiar face. Or ears or horns. How did Mathias end up associating with this crowd? All Jove knew of humans were that they wanted to hurt his friends, so this message was confusing and made him immediately distrustful of his surroundings. He almost didn't see the wolpertinger before nearly bumping into him, he had gotten so caught up in the signs and posters around them.

Selene let out a high pitched squeak when she peeked through her fingers and saw the grue leaning in to offer her his scarf. She pulled her hands away, and brushed all of the tears off of her cheeks, before delicately plucking the edge of the scarf and holding it in her hand. "Oh.. oh you are just.. so.. so..." Nahm's generosity sent her into another bout of fresh tears, this time out of joy for the kindness of the student body.

Barnaby slunk into the very back and looked around at all the other people. He really didn't know what to do or what to say to anybody instead he looked over the movie titles before settling on Beetlejuice.
Hopefully the whole movie wasn't filthy, watching anything dirty tended to make him really uncomfortable. Really, really uncomfortable. He adjusted his glasses, gloves, and jumpsuit before scanning the room again.

Helmut was, in typical Helmut fashion, not really sure how she got here. She had been too busy gnawing on an unbreakable jaw breaker candy to really pay attention to what was going on, and when she ended up in the auditorium, well, that was a surprise to her.
After following the lead of several other students, Helmut looked at the list of names and, unsure of what was even happening or what they were, wrote down Coraline, because for some reason it reminded her of a congaline and congalines were fun.
The ghoul then retreated to a quiet space - which was really just her sitting on the floor in between a row of chairs - and went right back to gnawing away on her supposedly unbreakable treat.

"There," Nahm said, patting Professor Selene on the shoulder kindly. "What movie did you want to watch, Professor?" He tilted his head a little, inquiring.

"Me?" She squeaked out, dropping the scarf like it was hot and staring up at him with wide, startled eyes. "Why, I guess I never, I suppose I should.. if it is for the good of the students... yes! I will place a vote!" She had an entire conversation in her own head, based off Nahm's question. But sure enough, she moved to write down the word Corpse Bride down on a paper and setting it in. She nodded slightly, and then turned back up to Nahm with a smile. "I chose Corpse Bride, you see, because it is a stunning tale of inter species relations. Undead and human, making bonds, saving one another.. truly it is the best example for your young minds to learn from." She blushed a deep, helpless shade of red, and ducked her head. "And it's sort of a love story.. too... which is nice, isn't it?"

"I enjoy love stories," Nahm said solemnly. His grin peeled wider, and he ambled over to place his vote for Corpse Bride as well. Nio Love idk what Nahm is trying to accomplish here

Mathias was 99% sure that he must have done the text messaging thing wrong. He waited for a reply, and none had come. He frowned, his lip curling back from his teeth as though an intimidating look might force the unholy contraption to do as it was meant to, and indicate to him in some way that Jove had received the message. But no indication came. "Auch! Ridiculous piece of---" He began, when suddenly something -or somebody- bumped into him, making his ears perk up and swivel in that direction, before he slowly turned and took a peek at who it was. Oh! It was Jove! "Ah! Guten tag, Jove!" He smiled, "This is nice, nah? Vas thinking might vant to be ah---participating." All Mathias knew about humans was what he had learned from that very kind and beautiful ghoul named Solia at the Haunted House, and she seemed more then okay.

Free movies? Probably the best way to kill time and it's human movie, the boil smiled at the text message. As a Halloweener, their chances to get to the human world was so limited, not to mention he already missed once. So he randomly walked into the auditorium, and made his vote.
Cabin in the Woods
He was excited what he gonna discover in this human horror movie, he should get some good idea on what human feared of, he guessed, crossing his legs while smiling mischievously.

Alexander was not a fan of DETH but he was a fan of movies. He figured it really couldn't hurt too much to check things out for himself.
With a tired look in his pale eyes, he shuffled into the auditorium, gaze sliding over the various posters, before he noticed a voting station.
Wandering over towards it with a slight stagger in his step, he gave the list a glance before making a snap judgement selection.
Corpse bride sounded too ghouly. He marked down Shaun of the Dead, then wandered away, rubbing a hand over his face and through his hair, once again wondering if putting up with members of DETH was worth the experience.
