Clyvelle Most likely the world for all three threads would be a general world where all species co-exist.Elementis_Dragon So in other words whatever world setting is picked would most likely be catered to whatever deems best in that world. So that begs the question would it be the same world for all three RP's or separate worlds and people with different preferences and characters can pick the best one that suites them? thanks for that. we can work with that..... now for ideas.... we have dragons and their riders working together to do something...like cooking food enough to feed the town (they have party)...the dragons cook (with fire) and the riders prepair food (to be cooked and platting set up). smile it an idea smile

Sir, your character concepts are as useful as a child. Your character ideas aren't useful in a typical role play scenario.
That said, we haven't settled anything concerning what kind of story we're playing out. You really need to come up with a more useful character concept once we finalize details a bit more.me know it all Clyvelle Most likely the world for all three threads would be a general world where all species co-exist.Elementis_Dragon So in other words whatever world setting is picked would most likely be catered to whatever deems best in that world. I voted for Imminent disaster/Apocalyptic because I always wanted to do a zombie RP and feel people would get really in to it.

I threw a few general storylines into the poll, so hopefully we can get a top 3 from the votes there.Shadow_Katja_Kyoma Clyvelle Sir, your character concepts are as useful as a child. Your character ideas aren't useful in a typical role play scenario.

I actually ran a post-apocalyptic RP that had zombies among other things. It was entirely improvised and mainly intended to contain three specific elements the general populace wanted. It was a very convoluted mixture of zombies, aliens, and foreign magic objects. Hardly made any sense really. I enjoyed the character I played more than anything.flame ginta I voted for Imminent disaster/Apocalyptic because I always wanted to do a zombie RP and feel people would get really in to it.

I understand your specific situation. Autism is unfortunate and unavoidable in your case. I'm just trying to make you see a better, or at least more typical, way to make your character. Your dragon character is only concerned with children and setting up camp-things that would be generally unimportant in most role plays.
For example, if you were in a post-apocalyptic role play, where some great event wiped out a large chunk of humanity and living things on the Earth, you really think that children would be around? Would they be a priority? Most other people hopping into the story would make mercenary type characters, warriors. People capable of fighting and protecting those around them.
You might want to research a thing called 'paladin'. That's a warrior that serves to protect others typically. If you could drop the dragon and use its rider as your main character, that might work better as far as role play goes.me know it all Clyvelle Sir, your character concepts are as useful as a child. Maybe if we keep it just about zombies we can make it more of a survival thing and whoever is in charge of the RP can just through in random curve balls whenever they want we can even have a luck based system using the number generator to see if attacks or defences work

a couple of ideas.
7 sins and 7 virtues. (commonly used but still fun.)
Gang wars. (can be romeo x Juliet or simple rivalry)
taking over the corrupt government by gathering teenage soiders, hackers, fighters, etc. from different backgrounds and districts.
People in mental asylum. (Dark and romantic rp.)
WWE?
Different races under a mansion. (vampire, werewolf, demon, etc.)
Adopted vampire family. (multiple vampires who are siblings by adoption, not blood.)
hope these sound interesting enough to pursue. smile

Before establishing an actual story line, what about figuring out what elements are most desired, such as genre, magic vs. science, what races are most wanted, etc.? I saw mention of quite a few mythical creatures. I know I tend to go for some genres more than others, and genres in general are all over the board and even cross-breed, and each genre often has its own specific races, unless you merge a couple genres together.
With that, as an idea, what about something kind of like Final Fantasy in the respect that it has a mesh of magic and science, humans and mythological creatures, and is stuck somewhere between the past and futuristic in regards to technology and landscape?
As for story line, what about also mixing a few of the ideas in the poll? For example, the world is headed to disaster or already in an apocalyptic-like state thanks to an outbreak of the undead (ghouls, zombies, skeletons, whatever) caused by science experiments gone wrong. The only way to keep the world from falling to total destruction is to find a magic something-or-other that leads to an artifact with the power to control the undead, a something-or-other that all races are trying to find, some for different reasons than others. However, one of the original scientists has discovered that the legion of undead follows his orders, and he becomes corrupt, so his evil is constantly pursuing those after the something-or-other and artifact to keep them from ruining his reign over the world. Then, vampires could want to get the something-or-other and whatnot because they are categorized as being undead.
That covers "Imminent disaster/Apocalyptic," "Grand search for person/item," "Relentlessly pursued by great evil," and "Survival/Escape from danger."
Just a few thoughts. Hope they help.
