Giving the young colt a sort of 'Oh I see' grin, Hyd nodded and followed Treasure Hunter to the entrance of the lower deck. He peered forward into the depths of the bottom layer, then back to the young colt. "And your sure he's quite fine with this? I'd hate to upset the greatest Captain afterall." he smiled, taking a slow gentle step forward and peering around at what the bowels of the ship had to offer. It really was a very nice ship indeed, much nicer than he had ever seen in cartoons or movies.

He watched the stallion come closer until he was face to face with him again. With both hooves, he pushed the woodenplank aside. Wide enough to see Hyd peer down below with much interest. "Yarrr. Ye see mate, our captain is a lass."
Treasure Hunter let out a chuckle. "Juss because we're pirates, it don't say we need a strong courageous lad as captain. Salty is a fine lass. Always happy to be sailing with us. Let fate decide if ye get to meet her or not." He winked at Hyd and started to head down below deck.

"Oh? Forgive me I had just assumed." he chuckled, blushing softly from embarrassment. Captain's could be females too! "Well I'm sure she is most certainly a fine lass." he smiled, following the little foal farther down below deck and peering around, wondering what exactly his eyes would set sight on. What kind of wondrous bounties did these pirates have? More importantly, would it have that perfect thing he was looking for to finish off the project he was working on? "You wont get in trouble for this will you?" he tilted his head, looking back down at the foal. He'd hate to get the little one in trouble with his lass of a captain too....

Fea Line sorry cant help thinking about Hyd. i reply before i play on my 3DS for the rest of the night. Okay this was not the first time Treasure Hunter had caught the stallion blushing away. He looked at Hyd and saw a small hint of Jolly Roger in him. Maybe it was the green and horn after all that kept on distracting him..
"Arrr. No harm done mate," he replied without looking back. His pirate senses notified him that Hyd was close behind as he finished walking down the short steps to get below.
To make sure that Hyd would not steal, he thought of spooking him out a little by walking past the canons and weaponry first.
"I won't get in trouble. I live here," he laughed with high confidence. Even if he were, he can get away with it somehow. "Salty never really stays mad at the bunch of us."
The little foal stopped before a locked double door. He took out a key that was hidden and fumbled with the lock. "Feast yer eyes on this Hyd---" and he pushed open the door on the right with all his might.

Hydrangea felt relieved that no harm was done, and he smiled, following onwards after the little colt. However as they walked past the cannons and weaponry, he looked over them amazed and somewhat wary. "I doubt many think to attack you with......all that." he swallowed and continued forward, smiling a bit at the lad's declaration that his captain never stayed mad for long. Though when the little one took out a key and opened the door, the unicorn leaned forward, eyes wide and waiting to see what lay beyond.....if the little one could open it. "Need help?" he offered, putting a hoof on the door and pushing. FrostyPeaches I...wasn't sure if the door opened or not yet? XD /derp

"All.. that.. is what keeps us safe.. and alive," he grunted pushing at the heavy door. Before long, he saw a pair of helping hooves press against the same beautiful polished treasure door he was. Just above his head. "Ugh.. Yar.. Thanks.. mate," he grunted as he pushed with all his might. Usually he would never let his guard down. Especially when he had his back turned to him! But this time, for some strange reason, he felt comfortable around this stranger. He swallowed hard as he realized what happened. Have I gone softie on these landlubbers?
The door groaned and creaked open. The amount of loot present were blinding to the eyes. "So... take a look. See if that something can be found here," he told Hyd and plopped down against a pile of bits as he rested to gain his strength back. Fea Line it's perfect. that's what i wanted you to get from my post. sorry that it was such a vague hint

Hyd pushed with all his might against the door with the little colt until it pushed open and he could meander on in. He glanced back as the other sat down to rest before going forward delicately. He saw many treasures of all shapes and sizes, values and colors. No doubt he'd find many things he'd need...rather liked...down here. But no he'd not take everything. The colt was being generous enough, so Hyd moved about until he found something that was absolutely perfect. A small bright ruby that would fit perfectly into the nich in the fountain. "This is perfect..." he smiled.

He felt his breathing go back into a calmer rhythm as he laid there a top a pile of cold treasure. Mmm it felt too good to get back up. Perhaps a little nap would do...
Of course, the thought of getting a bit of shut eye could not happen. The stranger was in their treasure room and he was the one that let him in. With sleepy eyes he scanned the room to see where the stallion had wandered off to. Hyd's happy remark allowed Treasure Hunter to find him much quicker.
"Hey Lad. What's perfect?" he called out to him and slid down the treasure like a slide. Hopefully nothing big and shiny, else Golden Doubloon would notice something was missing from this place. "Let me see."

Using his unicorn magic, Hyd levitated the small red ruby up into the air, turning it to look it over all sides before turning to show it to the foal. "This. Its near exact what I pictured in my mind! None of the ones at the shop seemed to have the right edges or shine to it....." he said, then trailed off, smiling down at the young foal. He looked so worn out already just from the trek to the ship and that heavy heavy door. Perhaps the green unicorn was nearing the end of his welcome? "You tuckered out a bit?" he asked softly.FrostyPeaches You caught me in a tagging mood xD Have a reply!

"Ooo that's a shiny," he grinned. Tiny enough to be not noticed that it was missing. He would just have to find more treasure to make up for the missing gem. "This is one the real thing. Not a fake. Doubloon can tell between real and fakes."
He yawned just as Hyd asked if he was tired and quickly shook his head. "Pirates don't need sleep. I can still do this." He nudged the stallion to move. "Perhaps.. Maybe.. I can see you off at the dock. You're grownup. Ye can find your own way home."
Fea Line hahah great timing then ;D i gotta brace myself for going into the snowstorm in a bit to get to class. fml.

Hydrangea chuckled a bit and bent down to give the foal a thankful prod to the side with his nose. "Sounds like a mighty fine lass you got. And I do thank you ever so much for this. If there is anything I can ever do for you to repay the kindness." he smiled before making his way through the mounds of treasure and up towards the deck. "Grown pirates may not need rest, you are are still young with lots of growing left to do. You rest, I can see myself out. " he smiled at the young colt once more.

"She is a keeper. Ever so jolly with a watchful eye when sailing. When me's old enough, I'll protect her from harm."
Treasure Hunter used all his might to close the heavy door again pulling on the handle, and locked it in place. He turned back around in time to see Hyd walk back up on deck on his own. Quickly, he climbed the stairs and ran after him. "There is nothing I need. You best remember me name, though. We will cross paths again on land."
He ran on ahead and escorted Hyd all the way over to the ladder. "This here, you landlubbers call it 'stairs' an' we say ladder," he mumbled, and leaned against the railing. "Ye best be goin', they might be coming back."
Fea Line And done? Thankyouuuuu <3
