It must be asked: why do most of the fics I find feature Sanzo as the uke? I know there are certainly exceptions to this, and maybe I'm just not reading the right stuff. I'm a personal fan of 35, but wherever I put Sanzo (and I put him in a lot of places ^^) I tend to write him as an seme. I just don't see him taking it.

That's interesting that you see Sanzo as not being able to take it and yet you're a fan of the 35. Only in the 35 scenario can I actually see Sanzo taking it, probably because it's even harder to image Gojyo on all fours, bending over for the monk.
Again, the each to their own philosophy applies.

I dunno, I can totally see Sanzo wanting to have control over Gojyo xd . But then again, I can't see Gojyo relenting like that. That's why there's a happy little spot for 353 in my heart, whee

Maybe that's why my favorite one I've written Gojyo's been drunk... hmm. I guess it is quite a little power struggle - perhaps either could end up on top - but I prefer Sanzo! biggrin :: And a big ol LURB for Soreyle and her "happy little" 353 spot. Sounds dirty. 4laugh ::

Dirty like your awesome sig blaugh . Yeah, as much as I love 383, I'll look at fics with other pairings if they're good. And 353 is almost always a good read. Some of the best fics I've read, though (other than 383 whee ), are 393 GEN. I love the relationship b/w Sanzo and Goku; it's very endearing.

^^ Over this weekend I started 4 Saiyuki fanfics. ^^0 That's alot! And I was even able to use my Gaiden fic as a source for an essay on language! >< That was so great.... Though, one is like really OOC, its so cute and random, and short.... I came up with this when I watched a clip from Inuyasha and saw him go over a cliff.....
Lily: Goddam Hakkai! You’re heavy! Lose some weight, get a hair cut, SOMETHING!
She complained as she held him by his ankle from a cliff. Some how he got back up.
Hakkai: I’m fat? *super, ultra kawaii chibi mode.*
Lily: No, you’re heavy.
Hakkai: Fat.
Lily: No, no kai-kai, if you were fat then I might not like you, you’re just heavy, as in I’m surprised I was able to not fall off the cliff with you.
Hakkai: T.T
Lily: Kai-kai, don’t cry, just cause your heavy doesn’t mean I don’t lust over you.
Hakkai: O.O
Lily: You’re just delicious!
Hakkai: Eep?
Lily *glomps Hakkai.* And you smell good too.
Hakkai *grins slyly, and his hand goes up the bottom of the shirt he lent her for a dress.*
