He glanced off to one side, trying to decide which direction he ought to take when he left. It was obvious that he couldn't just head off in the direction of home. Misdirection wasn't one of his more finely honed skills, but he could do a little bit of it for his favorite sister's peace of mind.
Something moved. Bird, beast, he wasn't sure what, but it was enough to serve as a sign. That was the direction he'd take when he left. Which he ought to do now. He'd be seeing her in a few days. That would be enough.
"Keep away from any ghosts you might meet. I mean it." Because if she ran into any ghosts that weren't him, it could go very ill for her, and he didn't want that.
