"I've never seen pirates before," Cherpumple said. "I'd love to see some with you one day. It sure is nice to have company on days like this."

Cherpumple admired the scenery and watched people going by.

I finally have time to respond! YAY!

Candy too watched the people. People-watching was one of her favorite things to do besides baking. There were so many interesting beings out there!

"I think it would be great to go visit the pirates." she said, eyes following a group of tourists. "I'll just have to find one and get them to tell me where their ship is." She assumed the pirates lived on a ship. After all, they would be bored with a house that stayed in one place!

"Normally when I people watch I'm alone." she said with a smile toward the stallion. "I agree that it's nice to have someone to talk to. You know, sometimes I try to imagine what the people I'm watching are thinking. Or what their lives might be like." She blushed. "It's pretty silly when you think about it!"

"Oh, it's not silly. Other people's stories are what makes life interesting!" Cherpumple took a sip from his drink. "Maybe one day you and I could go on an adventure. Maybe not like pirates, but I've always wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride over the forest or spending some time cooking on a wood stove out in a cabin!"

Candy was grateful that Cherpumple didn't think her odd for her hobby of people watching. She sipped from her drink as well and finished off her sandwich with a smack of the lips.

"An adventure sounds nice!" she said, washing the sandwich down with her beverage so that she could talk again. "I've never seen a hot air balloon in real life; I hear they are really big!"
