The idea of exploring the Basement Nation was very appealing to Hanna, despite Neomi's resistance. Besides, she had spent a large part of her life dragging her friends into situations that scared them but exhilarated Hanna. Wordlessly, she reached out an arm and place it at Neomi's back, helping Milo urge her forward -- at least until her cellphone went off.
She checked it and then frowned. "Sorry, guys, looks like I need to report to Death for some reentry stuff. We'll have to raincheck the exploration." A note of disappointment was clear in her voice. She hadn't been sent on a mission since she'd been back, but this type of exploring could have been a little excitement. Alas.
Turning to face both of them, Hanna smiled widely. "Thanks for being so cool and welcoming," she said, a little awkwardly. "A lot of my friends don't seem to be here on the island anymore so..." She laughed, again -- awkward. "It was really nice." Hanna wasn't in love with talking about her feelings or admitting vulnerability, but Milo and Neomi had been so sweet to her. They made her feel normal again. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad, after all? Maybe she would just have to rediscover her place in this craziness? It would take time, but as long as Hanna didn't go back in the pod again, she didn't care.
"Anyway... I'll see you around!"
With that, Hanna gave the pair a short wave and then jogged down the hall, up the stairs, and out of the building.

We should probably wrap it up, if only because so much time has passed ICly since it started.
