Rishima tilted his head to one side, watching as Tahigwa seemed to be debating over what it was that he had said to her. When she seemed to be done with her thinking she gave a smile, one he hoped was in part genuine before telling him where the pair might be. He gave a nod and said, "Alright, shall we look for them, then?" He recalled seeing a few younglings playing from time to time, it was a good thing, knowing that they were still able to find at least some joy despite everyone being so on edge of late. They had to keep the kids close to keep them out of danger, meaning they weren't allowed to have as much fun these days. Still at least they were safe, right?

The two of them started forward, with Rishima matching his pace so he and his sister walked in step with one another. Once they checked on the younglings and made sure that they were alright it would be up to Tahigwa what she did next. He kind of hoped she would come along with him, patrols were easier with more then one set of eyes after all, but it would be her choice in the end.

It wasn't long before they were able to hear the sound of children's voices up ahead, something that made his antennae give a little twitch. He didn't look at Tahigwa as he spoke, instead looking ahead, and said, "Of late, likely due to the battle we went through, I actually consider going to speak with Mother Aisha about a child of my own. Not now, of course, it's dangerous to ask for such a thing, but perhaps when the war ends." Provided it ended in a way that would still allow for such a thing. Were the Obans to win he didn't think he would ask Aisha for such a thing, a fearful of what the Obans might do. They were an unknown factor in his mind, he didn't know enough about them, meaning that until he did it would be best to do all things in a cautious and careful manner.

Tahigwa's own antennae gave a twitch at the sound of the younglings, and her gaze moved towards the sound. Both boys were together, by the sound of things, which meant that wrangling them would be easier to do, something that was a huge relief on her nerves. Her only worry now was her older brother and whatever was upsetting him. If only she had grabbed his shoulder before he went racing off like that...

"I wish you all the luck with your future plea, Sister." She said, a true, genuine smile waving over her features. "Whenever the time for you is right, it will be right. My brother pleaded and was given two lotuses in return, which is very rare and a great honor. I'm assured that our Great Mother would do the same for you."

Rishima smiled, "I thank you sister." It was kind of her to wish him luck even if it wasn't something he would be doing soon. He felt that he would know if and when the time was right, he just had to fight hard and be strong for when that day arrived was all. Until then he would do all he could to make the world a better place for the younglings around now as well as those born in the future. It was one of those dreams that he would keep to himself though, did sound a bit on the soft side and he would rather his more hard headed sisters didn't overhear his words. He couldn't allow for any sort of chinks to appear in his armor after all.

As she mentioned the two lotuses that her brother had been blessed with his antennae gave a twitch before he asked, "You brother... he wouldn't happen to be Yaholo, would he?" He asked, looking curious now. He had met that one a while back, having accused him of being an invader before figuring out the real reason for him being around the Chibale Isles. So that was her brother then? Interesting, interesting, it made him want to see the nephews she was looking after that much more. He had seen the lotuses, having promised to keep an eye on them when he was at home, but he hadn't seen those who were born from them. That he could now he felt was an honor.

Tahigwa appeared slightly shocked when Rishima asked her about her brother, before her demeanor became more excited. They knew each other! That was fantastic! Her brother had a friend who was another male hybrid, and he was a very nice guy, too! She allowed herself to relax and grin.

"Yes! That's him, my big brother, Yaho!" She replied, taking a breath in to calm herself down. "He's my hero, honestly, even if he can be pretty bossy..." She paused, a sheepish look crossing her features. "...I do give him quite a bit of trouble, sometimes. So... I guess he's really just trying to help me out."

She peered past Rishima a moment, just as two pairs of younglings ran by, one set being her nephews. They were holding hands and chasing after the other pair, and looking as if they hadn't a care in the world. She sighed, smiled to herself, and looked up to Rishima again.

"Those boys can out run anyone... Even me." She said, giving a laugh. "...How's about we continue our patrol, Sister? My nephews look fine as they are."

Rishima gave a smile, "Older siblings can be that way, it tends to be due to their love of us." He agreed, thinking for a moment on his sister, Jerarda who was the most like true family to him when it came to his many sisters. She had done so much for him to help him to become what he was today. Without her he didn't know where he'd be now. His attention turned to watching the younglings as they ran by, giving a smile as he took in the good mood they seemed to be in. Good, good, seeing them running around playing made him happy, it meant that they were doing well in keeping this place safe.

He turned to look at Tahigwa, then gave a laugh when she mentioned that they could out run even her and then commented on how they sould continue their patrol. He gave a nod, "Of course, we can continue on. I will show you the path that I tend to walk, in case you wish to join me another time in the future." He said, antennae twitching, before he turned to lead the way. Now that they were sure that the boys were alright they could go about making sure that everyone else was alright too. He didn't know what Oba and it's soldiers were planning, didn't know when they would strike next, but he meant to be ready for it. He didn't care if he had to do a daily patrol he would keep everyone in this village safe!

"Here we are, the start of the circle I make." He said, motioning to one of the tall trees that touched the sky. He started up the tree, leading the way. It would take a bit but it would give them some time to chat as they went about their business of keeping the place safe from the Obans and anything else that might want to mess with a village that was already dealing with too much as it was.
