It was a kind of funny joke, Paul thought, turning to examine the deck of cards. “This looks like it was stolen from a Vegas casino,” he said, holding up one of the cards. It had a hole punched right through the middle. Having seen Gunn--though Megiddo remained a mystery--he didn’t doubt it could be stolen.
“Well, we could play go fish,” said Paul. “Or do you want to learn to do real magic, Babylon?”

“No time like the present,” answered Finn, flipping through the book of magic tricks. “Maybe we can learn how to card-count and take Vegas by storm.”
This was going to be a long week.
