In all of the years I've been on Gaia, in towns, etc....this is the very first time that I have gotten a monarch X3 & I was only in the towns for a few minutes no less. I'm so thrilled X3 I still have quite a few to go but perhaps I might have gotten a strange stroke of luck :3
One can hope anyway!

Holy crap, I've been here since 04' and have never caught any rare bug (or seen one) in Towns. o.O Way to go!

XD I'm glad I'm not the only one then. I do the same thing with flies....since I lost track of them so often. They're so dang small XD
That's hilarious. At least he knows XD My professor was just giving me the one eyebrow like 'wtf for real Sam?' XD Oh well. Ph.D. student....playing on gaia during class. success in the making right there.

I feel unreasonably proud of being able to catch a fly while it's still moving. >>;
I usually have to wait for them to sit down and then carefully aim my mouse cursor and hope that they don't move again before i can get in place. ><

I was on hiatus from Gaia while in undergrad, but I probably would've gotten the same reaction too. Especially since the clicks on my laptop are so loud. xP

I used to play Herald of Chaos while chatting on my phone xd My way to make 50k a day....

Oh yeah, I heard about HoC giving out 50k a day. I jumped on that train waaaay too late, though. Kinda sadden by it too 'cause it seemed like a fun game.

You wouldn't happen to note down the town zip code by any chance? I'm thinking of collecting rare bug data in hopes of being able to predict where they'll appear next.

XD Same here.When I get one I just feel so proud. It's the small accomplishments in life i swear.
Yea I should be more....focused, but during the beginning of the quarter things are so slow & most of the subject matter I'm already familiar with. I'm just working on my dissertation XD But i'll probably just stick to collecting trash in towns during class...makes much less noise >>;
