"Yeah, but not in such an adventurous way! I envy you, you can travel from shore to shore. I have to stay put right here," Cast offered him a hotdog bun and condiments from the food hamper. "I don't know about you, but I loooove sour relish on my hotdogs."

She put more than enough mustard and dill relish on her hotdog before answering the rest of his questions.

"My mother is the captain of a cargo vessel," she sat down next to him to eat. "She exports and imports goods from Phonyland to the rest of the world! But we need a port and a lighthouse. I man the lighthouse while everyone sails past us to get into the lagoon or to one of the ports. As far as I know, we're the only ones with a lighthouse, so I have to take my school courses through correspondence."

Cast nodded enthusiastically, mouth full of food. It was nice having an outdoor picnic with someone who just saved your skin not but moments ago.

"That was really nice of you to rescue me like that, Kaiju," Cast planted a kiss smelling faintly of hotdog and relish on his cheek. "I'd love for you to come by for outdoor cooking again. If you're going to be patrolling, you might want to think about making hidden caches!"

"Now that I'm not nearly drowned from a bit of seaweed, I can look on this and laugh!" Cast said. "For all you knew, it was a sea monster! But you have to admit, it was funny that it wasn't."

And through a scary ordeal, they all came out all right in the end with a little kind help. Cast Aweigh had made a new friend, after all! What was scary then will be a fond memory she can look back and laugh over a hotdog or two with Kaiju.

Who knows? Maybe they'll get to share even more adventures and even find real sea monsters!
