Deeming the Totodile - Gummy, as the girl kept repeating - as not even remotely entertaining, Elizabeth returned her gaze to the Eevee who was making noises again. Hmm, what to do, what to do...
With the ball still held in her teeth, the Charmeleon raised her clawed appendages to either side of her head, stuck her tongue out at the Eevee, and proceeded to make a strange guttural noise, the tone of which was quite possibly a blatant taunt.

"Hey now! That's a pretty funny noise but I don't think Fluffster's gonna like it! Unless you wanted to battle? Cuz she'll probably wanna battle now... We'll totally battle if you wanna! That'd be awesome!"
Fluffster widened her eyes. What? What was this? Was this reptile thing /mocking/ her now? She stood still and tried to make herself big and proud looking as Henrietta offered to battle. Yes! Yes, she did want to battle! She could show this weird fire type! Breaking the ball, and mocking her... Pft. She would totally show her a thing or too!

At Elizabeth's strange noises, the music nearby ceased.
The Charmeleon straightened up a little at the mention of a battle, but then didn't move for a few moments. When she did finally move, it was quick, as she suddenly spat the ball out straight at Fluffster, then jumped backwards and entered a ready stance, hopping from foot to foot, ready to dodge at a moment's notice. Oh yes, battles were so much fun, and this would be a piece of cake! That little thing, too, against her? Pfft. There was no way she'd--
"Elizabeth!" A voice called out, originating from the same general area as the music that had stopped.
"Chaaarr!" Elizabeth responded readily and loudly, projecting her cry so her trainer could hear her. Her jumping ceased at his voice, and she straightened into a more normal posture - or, well, normal for Charmeleons.
"Where'd you go?" The voice called once more, then after a brief pause, "You're not causing trouble again, are you?"
This time, the fire-type innocently opted not to respond.

Fluffster squeaked and hopped out of the way of the ball... That wasn't an attack! That was just mean! She bristled and growled a little at the Charmeleon.
Hen' was about ready to issue a command, grinning at the fire type's obvious willingness to battle... and, well, Fluffster seemed really geared up for it too, which might have been worrying if the girl hadn't been convinced that her pokémon were almost -always- wanting to battle like that...
She paused as she heard the voice though... "Elizabeth?! That's a really pretty name!" She exclaimed, happily, to the reptile. "Hey! If you're the trainer for this Charmeleon, she's over here and we're gonna battle if that's okay?!" Henrietta called out; another trainer would make the battle -much- better!

Unfortunately for both Henrietta and Fluffster, Elizabeth paid them no mind and instead turned and started plodding along towards the source of the voice, which for the moment was behind a few trees a little ways away. While she did want to battle, experience with her trainer taught her that it'd be much better to return to his side than continue to ignore him, lest he send Sonia to come (try to) collect her. "Chaaaaarrrr," she half-sighed, half-groaned once she neared where he sat.
A battle? What had she gotten into? Huh... And it sounded like it was with someone young, too, or maybe they just sounded that way. He was about to respond when Elizabeth came into view, and he offered her an amused smile and a chuckle as she voiced her displeasure with him. "I dunno if she still wants to battle or not," he called back, reaching out to pat the Charmeleon on the snout before returning his hand to his guitar over his lap, "but you can come over here and ask her." Granted he could just send her back over there to do as she pleased, battle or not, but with someone else around he was much more inclined to keep an eye on her, given her rather... eccentric behavior.
That and he forgot his guitar strap back at the apartment, so he couldn't very well walk around and play it - and he sure as hell wasn't putting his guitar away so soon.

As Elizabeth started trudging off, Henrietta, with Fluffster and Gummy in tow, began to follow her, only emboldened by what the voice called.
"Yeah! We can totally come over here if she still wants to!" The girl came into view with her two pokémon; a bursted ball now in the mouth of the Totodile, who seem to have decided Elizabeth had made it into a pretty good chew toy. "Oh cool! You gotta guitar! That's awesome!"

The Charmeleon turned to face the small group as they approached, and seemed almost startled that Gummy had brought the ball along. Slowly, she reached a claw down to poke his nose. Maybe he would drop it... Or... Maybe she could just take it?
The blond chuckled at the girl's enthusiasm, and since she seemed to think guitars were awesome, he strummed a few chords as he nodded his head. "Yep, I've a guitar. My name's Abel, and you've already met Elizabeth," he said, then tilted his head to his other side, "over here's Isaac." A rather colorful Espeon poked his head up just enough to see the newcomers, studying them curiously. "What's your name?"

Gummy stared straight ahead and slowly blinked, the ball still between his teeth.
Fluffster went behind Henrietta, gave a little growl at Elizabeth, and then spotted Isaac peeking over at them. Deeming the Espeon most interesting, the yappy little Eevee charged toward where she saw him poke up from, intent on meeting the Eeveelution.
"Hi Abel! Hi Isaac!" Henrietta grinned, bouncing a little at the guitar music. "Yeah! We played with Elizabeth over there! We were just about to battle! I'm Henrietta but people call me Hen, and this is Gummy, and that's Fluffster!"

Hm... Well, that didn't work. Maybe she could just take it... Slowly, hesitantly, Elizabeth tried to wrap her claws around the ball in Gummy's mouth to try and take it from him.
Isaac smiled down at the Eevee from his spot on the bench, shifting his posture a little so his paws curled over the edge of it. he greeted her politely, his large ears perking up a bit. What an interesting coat she had.
"Hi Henrietta - Hen - and hi Gummy and Fluffster," he said with a light chuckle. "Nice to meet you. So I take it you like battling?" He hazarded, figuring it was a pretty safe guess, given her enthusiasm about the battle they'd been about to have.

If Elizabeth was to lift the ball, then Gummy was, apparently, coming with it. He wasn't -hugely- heavy... and it didn't seem like he had any intention of opening his mouth... or any intention of -anything- really.
<> The little Eevee explained to the bigger pokémon right way, happily.
"I do! We -really- do! We're totally awesome at battling! It's nice to meet you too!" Henrietta grinned.

As she lifted the ball, the Totodile didn't let go, and actually hung on. That was.... fascinating. Suddenly enthralled by this, Elizabeth lifted the ball to eyelevel, and shook it gently a little, to see if he would stay attached or not.
he said with a light chuckle to the excited Eevee, and laid his chin on his paws. He asked curiously, tilting his head to one side a little bit. The decisions made by one or both always intrigued him - Abel had let him decide, but he knew some trainers decided for their Eevee what they would evolve into, which might be fine for some, but it never made too much sense to him.
Wow this girl was excited, huh? Maybe something exciting happened earlier - maybe she'd won a battle, perhaps. "Are you? Remind me not to go up against you then, you'd kick my butt," he said with a chuckle, though wasn't actually sure if that'd be the case or not since he didn't know much about her. At the very least he knew he didn't battle much, and so it probably wouldn't end in his favor. "You must battle a lot if you like it that much, huh?"

Gummy did, indeed, stay attached, dangling from the ball as Elizabeth shook it, with no reaction beyond another slow, un-synchronised, blink.
<>
"Yeah! We totally are! We probably would," Henrietta seemed to agree, quite seriously, but followed up with "but you seem to have some pretty tough pokémon so I bet you'd do okay! She seems pretty tough!" The girl pointed at Elizabeth with a grin.

She wasn't... exactly sure what to do with this. Giving the two humans a brief, distressed look, before shifting her gaze back to the Totodile, she raised her other hand and poked him in the belly with another outstretched claw. Let goooo.... She wanted to chew it again!
Abel ignored the Charmeleon for the time being - she usually figured things out on her own, which was how he preferred it, and only intervened when things escalated - and instead chuckled at Hen as he continued to strum his guitar. Man, this girl was really confident, wasn't she? "Well, I don't usually train, but Elizabeth likes to, so I guess she is probably strongest due to that," he mused aloud thoughtfully. That made sense. "What about you? Which pokemon of yours is your strongest?"
Oh, so she did decide it on her own. Good - very good. he said with a nod, raising his head off his paws to finish the gesture with a smile. Hmm. When had he been an Eevee? Quite a few years ago now, though he wasn't exactly sure.

Henrietta adjusted her point until she was pointing at Gummy... Who was still latched onto the ball, and seemed to have discharged a very weak water gun over it while he hung there.
"Gummy's totally my strongest, but my whole team is strong! We battle a lot so we totally know, though we're learning more too! Did you know that you can make Solar Beam work without charging it up?! It's /so/ cool! A friend showed me, but I forgot how to do it..."
<> Fluffster looked suitably impressed. <> If she knew that was rude, she didn't show it.

Elizabeth made a very displeased, disgruntled noise. Why wasn't he letting go of the ball? And what was that for? She might have thought it an attack, but couldn't given how pitiful an attempt it was. Maybe he was... broken? "Chaarrr?" She rumbled, confused and curious at once, and gave the side of his head another poke.
The sudden, albeit small and entirely harmless, surge of water (if it could be called that) caught his attention, even without Hen's pointing, and he was momentarily confused... Was it alright? "Put him down, Ellie," he said with a small, brief frown, though his voice held no hints of anger or anything worse than a very mild, short-lived displeasure, before he returned a smile to the girl. Elizabeth complied with a grumble as she set the Totodile back down on the ground, but didn't let go of the ball yet. "He does look pretty strong," relatively speaking maybe? He didn't know much about pokemon battling, but maybe that was strength to some people...? "Solar beam, huh?" He said, brows raised. Now that he didn't know - nor, honestly, did he know the move itself. "That sounds pretty cool. I didn't know some moves had to charge before they could be used." Interesting...
He snorted lightly at her words, but was much more amused than anything else, and he let out a small chuckle. he nodded, he said with a smile.
