"I'd be happy to have a companion for my explorations." Nahm giggled to himself. "Always open for companionship, you know. Truly a fateful encounter. Have you anything pressing requiring your attention?" he asked. He slid over to Llyr, and, without asking, picked up a long lock of dark hair to braid, fingers deft in spite of the thing dark gloves he wore.

Llyr smiled, clearly pleased. He seemed not to mind Nahm braiding his hair for him, and Llyr's hands fell away as he idly twisted the rings on his fingers.
"Nothing at all," he said lightly, eyes alight with curiosity. "I am as free as a bird. Well," he amended, "Not all birds are free, so I suppose I shall say that I am as free as the free birds are."

"Want to walk with me then?" Nahm inquired, eyes lighting with amused interest. He finished off the small braid he'd been making, long fingers quick and nimble, and wrapped a strand of hair around the end to secure it before letting go of it. "I got nothing to do, could use a little company doing that nothing."

Llyr pushed his hair back off of one bare, scaled shoulder, his expression bright. "I'd be delighted to keep you company," he said cheerfully, lacing his fingers together. "That's what friends do, isn't it? You can tell me all about yourself and I can tell you all about myself - not that there's that much to tell," he added musingly, and tapped a finger against his chin thoughtfully.

"I love making new friends," Nahm said brightly. "Shall we walk? Got any favorite places? I like the rise by the swampy spot behind the dorms. Nice view, and there's some tasty little wild minis around. Frog legs," he added, and snapped his teeth playfully.

"I've never been to the swamp," said Llyr with interest, but his eyes were sparkling with curiosity. "My favorite spot is the lake so I can swim - I do love water," he added, pressing the tips of his fingers together and smiling. "And I do love swimming, but I would love to see this place of yours!"
