It was quick and cutting, but she was able to stop herself before the startled yelp got too loud and interrupted the class too much. She wasn't as worried about the class than she was about the water though.

"What is you problem." She breathed through her teeth, just above a whisper. Her grip was just as tight. Until she realized her nose was probably missing. She let go of Gene and felt around for it, urging her goo to reform there. All the while shooting Nik and irritated glare. They were, Sucre didn't notice because she was fretting over her nose, almost over the water and in the clear.

"Yes, professor Savage. Fond of ships, octopi, and all things maritime." Gene answered, strained slightly by Sucre's vice grip. She feared the water? Hm, maybe the ghoul and Danny would have something to bond over.

Oh Jack Dammit! She sighed incredibly loudly and grounded them once across the water, features becoming far more angular than their usual pleasant curvy structure. Rounding on Nik, she began to scold the boil. "Why do you continue to insist on antagonizing her?!" She hissed through suddenly sharp teeth, fists on her hips. "Leave the ghoul be, huh? She's been nothing but sweet this entire tour. Keep acting like this when you get in, and you'll be in detention more than classes."

"Now, if we can continue." She huffed, face and fangs returning to their normal appearance. She squeezed Sucre's hand before taking the lead once more, this time leading them to a washroom in the bottom of the school. "Anywhere else you'd like to see after this?" She asked the two, bright smile lighting her face again.

This time Sucre felt really bad. She didn't mean for Nik to get in so much trouble over it. She winced even more when Gene called her sweet. She hadn't been all that sweet and had teased him right back. Part of her wanted to interrupt Gene but another part of her was a little smug she had one-upped him and had thier upperclassmen on her side. In the end she felt bad that Gene got stuck with the two of them and let her continue the tour.

Until Nik reacted, which didn't surprise Sucre, he was easy to rile up.

'I'm not afraid of water..its...just.that....me and water don't mix, literally.."She countered. Sucre wasn't going to elaborate.

Under her breath, as low as she could possibly make her voice come out, she said "but thanks I guess..."

Quickly her demeanor changed and she was back to smiling again, "How about the Creepateria?" Now that was something much more pleasant than professors that liked water.

"That's what I get for trying to be nice" he mumbled under his breath as looked away from the pair, at this point Nik was severely irritated and just wanted the tour to be done so he could get away from Gene, he made another mental note to stay far away from her when he got accepted into the academy.

As Gene continued on her scolding his face wrinkled into a snarl as he turned to face her "leave me alone, you don't know me just because you've spent 10 minutes with me, I was trying to help her, but you've already judged me!" At this point in his outbreak Nik tried to jerk away from the ghoul "how was I supposed to know it was going to take off her nose you sexist a**" he growled spreading his wings in case she decided to drop him, which given how much she seemed to dislike he, he wouldn't be surprised.

Sucre was glad for the interruption after the current drama. Sucre liked fun but drama got irritating quickly. And a loud and fast paced interruption it was. Now, she would probably agree that Danny seemed pretty sweet, but Gene had been nothing but nice.

"Nah Gene is pretty cool. I'm Sucre!" She said offering her gooey hand, only because she wanted to see Danny's reaction.

Danny leaned on the shoulder of her ghostly friend and said, "Nice to meet you Sucker and Nack." She'd already messed up the names. BUT THAT WAS OKAY. FRIENDSHIP WENT BEYOND NOMENCLATURE.

She noted the gooey hand and squinted at it. It looked very water-material-ish and Danny wasn't sure how much she could trust that. She elected to just sort of lightly tap it and hope that she didn't die. It had an okay texture though luckily, and the handshake was complete. Danny then wiped her hand on her bikini top, leaving a gooey stain on her skin. It wasn't like Danny cared though. She could have spaghetti sauce splattered across her face and it wouldn't bother her.

"So what kind stuff has Gene been showing you guys? Oh my Jack did she show you the hot springs. That's like the BEST PART OF CAMPUS." Danny's face would be proof enough that she was very excited about the hot springs.

Why did she get called Sucker and Nik got Nack. Sucre giggled at the fire demon's excuse for a handshake.

"Ugh no more water pleeeease!" She said shaking her head. She wanted to scream out no but stopped herself. She'd had enough trauma for the day honestly. If this place was so full of water she might be better off at that all ghouls school....or not.

"I just requested the Creepateria, I think I was promised food at some point." She wasn't sure if the gnome had mentioned it or someone else. Sucre could use a bit of food to solidify her right up.

Danny crossed her arms, displeased that her idea had been shot down by Gene. Of course. "Hey, they have lava and acid baths too. Not just water."

She stuck out her tongue at Gene and then continued to march towards the creepateria. "Lucky for you guys I'm hungry. Do they have the bat wings with the little sparkly blood sprinkles still??"

It was a good thing Danny was more easily distracted than a cat with a lazer pointer. She looked between Gene and Nik, noticing that something was amiss. "Hey if you're mean to Gene I'll kick your butt." She'd kick Gene's butt for being too mean too. Heck, Danny would kick anyone's butt in the right mood.
