Tantalus was making a lot of mistakes tonight - and one of them, certainly, was drawing attention to himself. He learned that very quickly, when an Eternal's shoulder slammed into his chest and he felt his feet come out from under him and the breath rush from his lungs. He ended up on the ground, coughing. At least she had hit higher than the knee he'd taken earlier, though he was starting to worry about his ribs again.
Still, he had a goal in mind, and even if it was foolish to try and fight his way through someone two ranks higher, he had no choice. Not now. ".
So he caught his breath. "I would very strongly recommend getting out of my way," he said, even if the intimidation factor really wasn't there with him trying to get himself off the floor and all.

He watched as his army dropped down, a group all eager since the moment they assembled for this very moment. His heart was racing, his hands clenching and unclenching, unable to draw his weapon, but still far capable of going hand to hand. He wanted to feel flesh and see red, and he looked in the crowd for where Leto disappeared. In the chaos, he had lost her, and he moved through the crowd in search of his sole target.
As he did, he spared little mercy for those around him, and watched as magic clashed with weapon and shouts were called out in the mist. It had been such a long time since he was in a battle like this and while he was sure of what he wanted, he could still feel all his muscles tense, his one good eye go wide as he looked around, trying to spot threats and dangers that he couldn’t directly address head on.
Moving through the crowd, he spotted, a young senshi, her energy signature barely a blip on the radar. Fresh. New. Probably hadn’t even been in a few one on one battles herself, let alone one like this. It was cruel of her to be called, but then again, family who stuck together – died together.
Pushing past a few backs and turning his head in case of any magic, he went for her, kicking into her side before she even called out her attack. He could see her surprise. The unsaid flicker in her eyes that asked ‘Why am I here? Why is he targeting me? Why did I come here?’ and most of all ‘Am I going to die?’
It was questions he had when he was first recruited, first introduced to a fear he never knew he could experience and left him in bed at night, when he still lived a t home, debating his choices in life. Debating why he had been pulled into this world. It was a question he answered years ago, transformed from someone who shivered at the idea of putting a blade into someone’s side to someone who wondered how they could improve their chances in doing just that.
This girl would not have that transformation, as he grabbed her hair and threw her to the ground. There was no ‘don’t hit a woman’ ideas here. Everyone on this side of the line was the enemy, gender and age not an exception. He watched her drop, stunned, and jerked when he saw her busted lip sputter out her attack.
A bright light flashed, and he covered his eyes, using his arm to shield them, but only felt the heat of the power she gave. It was a stun attack and nothing more, and he watched as she tried to get to her feet to run. She knew she wasn’t ready. He knew it too. Not for a battle like this.
When she rose, he threw his heel down, breaking the bone in her leg and sending her back down, and as she fell, he threw himself down to pull his hand down into her, to find the one thing that made her whole. Real. Exist. The starseed was torn out with a laugh as he made sure to be quick. The faster the rip, the more likely she would die. He wasted no time as he watched a cat skirt about the edge. Maybe he should see if she really was on his side. Zirconia had said she would give information, but would she kill one of her own? Would she return the starseed or destroy it with her own hands?
“Zirconia!” He called out, and threw the starseed her way. He then turned and headed off into the crowd, looking for another target and most of all – Leto.

How many hours passed since they littered the rafters? How many minutes? Seconds? How many breaths passed from his lips unabated by tragedy, by travesty or by scorn? The silence weighed heavily on the weaker minds, weaker breasts among them. For a moment (second? minute? hour?) Bischofite closed his eyes, watching the last imprinted memories fade into the depths of his eyelids before he drew a meditative breath. This atmosphere, this setting... It fostered a true home for the wretched like him. But who else among their kind resonated so heavily to such a place? There were no youma among them.
The ambush and hostage acquisition must've found fruition as WP projected, for the sound of Buddingtonite's arrogant speech and the curious, oppressive power emanating from Alkaid belied their safe arrival. And with them? Not long after, the deep yet curiously parallel energies filtered in, one identified through Leto's rusted accent, and in peering down from precarious perch he recognized Remarque with a near-instant sneer of disgust. So their kind had finally gathered here. Why the pomp and circumstance? With the plethora of sawdust wafting around, Bischofite was more than ready to toss his lighter atop the floor and set the place ablaze. Burn the White Moon, the Knights, the Dark Mirror... Only those with thorough access to teleportation might survive.
But that would be too easy. Too quick. Too clean.
Buddy's voice sounded their cue, a bellow of surprise to initiate the ambush. And surely enough, those readied to the cause would leap without a falter, lighting safely with nothing but their roiling, rancorous hatred toward the Dark Mirror to guide them. Slowly he stood of his own accord, balanced in uncanny calmness on his current rest, tucked under one arm a few stray bags of sawdust to contribute to the swirling fire hazard beneath him.
With a little luck, one of these senshi sported fire magic.
"Turquoise," he called toward the lieutenant without prompt. "If you were serious over claiming my weapons, take zem now." The pair materialized in one hand readily enough, and he laid the weapons upon the rafter not far from his location. Pacing outward, now, he positioned himself far above Remarque.
"Dann schwarzer Regen das Land überschwemmt," he muttered softly, eyes peering down to the first sparks of war. A smile contorted his features. "If only you lent us tar, Wolframite..." Upon tearing the bag open with his teeth, Bischofite allowed its contents to sputter and tumble toward the blonde abomination below.

It was certainly a beautiful sight to behold and such a relief to have both that sneeze and that desire to shout 'surprise' freed from its prison. Within seconds, chaos was unleashed and as senshi, knights and officers dropped from the rafters and began to throw hell at the Dark Mirror Corut, that was Buddingtonite's queue to find Turquoise and take a more passive role. As far as the general with the Mardi-Gras theme mask was concerned, his role in this showdown was over.
Which mean dropping the senshi he held hostage like a sack of potatoes, and he did so without warning. He let go of Damocles and sought to put some distance between the two by kicking him away, as he caught of glimpse of his very angry looking boyfriend charging towards him. Not that Buddingtonite needed to worry, as Europa was quick to intervene, but still, the general tipped a hat that was not there out of habit. "Well, I had my fun. Good luck with the fight, Blondie."
Tantalus wasn't her target. Not really. No matter what philosophy Gunn might hold near and dear, the only blood Europa thirsted for was Leto's. Everyone else was a distraction - but she'd be happy to ruin his day, so that he couldn't take out one of her allies down the line.
"Or what?" she asked. "What will you do if I don't get out of your way?"
This was a waste of time. She needed to find Wolframite and get to Leto, but she'd knocked him down and she wasn't sure that her conscience would let her just walk away without at least knocking him out, even if she stopped short of killing him.
Which was sort of horrifying, when she thought about how easily she was even considering what would have been unthinkable to her a week ago.
She lashed out with her foot, aiming to knock him back on his back again. Whatever futile goal he was pursuing, she wasn't going to let him reach it.

Benitoite had been out patrolling the city when he'd had a run in with Remarque, something he had been happy about, only to have the other inform him that they were unable to stand about and converse as they normally would. It seemed something was going on - something big. It wasn't some big battle with those of the white moon, at least not that he was aware of, but rather it seemed his own faction, the Negaverse, had done something against the Dark Mirror Court and Remarque had been looking for a mirror so he could get to the location of the incident.
Unable to enlighten his fellow blond as to what was going on, or even why, Benitoite had requested the location and told the other that he'd be joining him - to help and find out what was happening. Now that Remarque was off, through a mirror, the blond had been about to teleport when someone else decided to join him; seemed he was popular tonight. Acrucis, the senshi of prayer, had come upon him and after quickly explaining the what little he knew of the brewing situation he'd managed to convince her to join him in heading that way. There would be people hurt, no doubt, and he feared some lives would be love. he didn't care of white moon senshi lives were lost, so long as they weren't the periwinkle haired senshi's life, but he did worry for his fellow chaos followers lives.
An arm wrapped securely about the senshi and the blond teleported them as close as he could to the warehouse in question. Four blocks...four blocks to cover before they were at ground zero for this battle and he couldn't wait to get there. Already an eagerness had seemed into his bones and taken hold of him. The thrill of the upcoming battle had adrenaline rushing through his veins and blue gray eyes eagerly, almost longingly, looked toward the warehouse in question.
One arm still about the senshi, keeping her close to his side, he glanced toward her. "Are you ready?" He questioned as he drew away from her side slowly and drifted to the ledge of the warehouse roof they occupied. It would be a quick run, and series of jumps, to get to the scene of the fight. he could get there oh so quickly and he couldn't wait, at least not long, to get there.

The blonde senshi rolled her eyes at Buddingtonite's antics, though she didn't even need to look at who gave the battle cry. Honestly, she wondered of Penthesilea had a sane bone in her body.
...Probably not.
Lellouch stood as bodies began to shower down from the rafters. She pulled her wrists from the rope easily. Though instead of discarding it, the senshi held onto it, going as far as to wrap an end of it around her hand. Who knew, perhaps it would come in handy later. She growled when she saw a flash of wild green hair and immediately made herself as scarce as possible. Figures that traitor would be here.. Figures that she'd be fighting against them rather then with them. Oh well.. I didn't matter much. As if Persephone could do much for the Dark Mirrors anyway. Once a traitor, always a traitor.
So instead she crept about till she spotted a familiar mop of sickly, straggly brown hair. Oh.. well, now this would prove fun.. She made her way around to behind the General, before looping the little bit of rope she hand around his neck and jerking him backwards.

Captain Labyrinthite was no stranger to the waiting game, or hiding up in the rafters of a building for that matter. He had been perched on a rafter near the center of the warehouse, a dark cloak draping his form to help him blend in with the dark until it was time to drop. If they noticed any of the hidden soldier's before it was time to strike, well their advantage would be lost but it seemed like fate favored them today as they went unnoticed.
He peered down at the gather mirror senshi with a look of hatred plastered on his face. His eyes were narrowed into slits and his hands dug into the steel of the beam he was crouched upon as he fought the urge to swoop down now and strike. It was at that moment that he wished he wielded a different weapon, like a set of knives, so he could bury them into an opponent's neck as he dropped from the ceiling.
Then the signal came and he dropped from the ceiling like Batman in Arkham Asylum. He unclasped his cloak as he dropped and it flew off more dramatically than necessary as he landed before the basic level mirror senshi, Canopus. In normal situations a dark grin would be on his lips but today, today he wore a somber expression befitting of one who liked to think himself a grim reaper.
He landed in a crouch but sprung up immediately, the weapon materializing in his outstretched hand as he moved forward and threw his arm forward with the top of the staff portion being thrown directly at Canopus's face. "Death is knocking," he growled.

An ambush.
He should have known. The last time there had been a big battle, it had been an ambush, and the Negaverse had planned it then, too. Though, they seemed to follow the same procedure: never go into a battle alone.
He looked at the knights and senshi that joined them with disdain; they were fools, and his greatest concern was that they were too far gone to realize how lost they were. But then, any senshi willing to use such underhanded tactics couldn't be trusted, even if they did make the wise choice to join the Dark Mirror Court.
While he had repressed most of his aggressive tendencies in preference for playing diplomat, he was far from perfect. The sight of Dark Mirror Senshi in danger—by people they were supposed to be able to trust—made his lip curl into a sneer.
What with the still arriving members of the Court and the newly descended ambush, the factory was quickly feeling crowded. He could still see the unfortunate Dark Mirror hostages and figured the first course of action was to get to them, ensure their safety, and realistically? Get them out.
It didn't matter if there were three or thirty people in his way; Remarque was content to slide between one person and the next—and would have continued had he not suddenly come into contact with a gritty, dry irritant. His eyes stung and for a moment he felt like he was going to cough
Instinct told him to look up and find the source of this nuisance, though the moment he tilted his head back even slightly he just found himself with more.
Agitation slipped in quickly; he wasn't at all in the mood to be held up by sawdust. He raised a sleeve to wipe at his eyes, careless and indifferent of those before him.
He knew where he wanted to be and didn't care who he ran into getting there.

She could barely hold her own in a normal fight, but this? This was madness! Chaos! Officers in masks were falling left and right from the rafters and Canopus felt that she was doing her absolute best to keep a cool head on her shoulders. She told herself not to panic. She told herself to think, think of something that could help her family- and yet all of that was ruined when Wolframite ripped the starseed from a senshi next to her, and she screamed when another officer suddenly dropped down in front of her.
She couldn't get a good look at his face and her violet eyes immediately went to the weapon he carried, knowing full well that she was the one intended for his incoming strike. There was no way she could think to grab the weapon, so she made an effort to try and avoid it, stepping back and giving a terrified scream, not even trying to be brave now. "R-remarque, Avior, help!"

There were few nights that Eternal Sailor Tsui, senshi of Tigers and general butt-kicker of the bad guys, did her hunts on her own, and tonight was no exception. She had taken the patrols with Eternal Ida and Eternal Athene, her fellow founders of the PSSG as of late and thus far they were having what she thought to be a peaceful night in Destiny City.
Somehow, the words 'peaceful night' and 'Destiny City' seemed to immediately clash, as it was ruined when she felt not one, but two strong Mirror presenses, followed by other ones, just as significant as the others. It seemed like the Dark Mirror Court were on the move, and Tsui, ever eager and curious, had done her best to convince Ida and Athene to tag along. They knew she was always eager for a fight, though she swore it was just to see what was going on... maybe they were just having a meeting, or a pow-wow.
What she saw, however? Definitely not a meeting, nor pow-wow. It was an ambush, and Tsui was surprised to find their attackers to be a mixed group. "Athene... Ida... please tell me I'm not imagining things..."
She had her hand on her cell phone, somehow knowing that there'd need as much backup as possible, and her mind immediately went to the Jovians. But what would they do? Would they rush to the help of the Dark Mirror Court?

Avior honestly wasn't sure about any of this.. Yes, his family was being threatened, but... How could he even bare to think about anything besides himself as of recent? No one needed him, no one required some broken, whiny little brat around, mourning the loss of his old persona. And yet, when it came down to it, he loved his family, and he needed to be there, he needed to make sure all of them, even the ones he didn't know were okay.
As soon as he realized that Canopus was heading into the frey, he sprang right behind her, feeling that not only he owed her that much, but that his love for the girl far outweighed the amount of hatred he had for himself, for Nischal.
He was on her heels, making sure that she was alright, when he saw that some... Some weird black and pink haired jerk was trying to come down on her. He couldn't attack the man, not from this angle, but he could grab Canopus' arm, swinging her to his side, and pulling her behind him.
"I got you, Canopus!" Using the momentum from such an action, he launched himself towards Labyrinthite, trying to grab onto the front of his uniform, and swinging his fist to meet the man in the throat. There was no mercy here, he had been kind enough to everyone, and now, he was mad. If this man was coming to end all of his family, the only family he had left, it was time to put them in the ground.
"I will make your day very miserable," Tantalus growled, rolling out of the way of her foot and pushing himself to his feet. He didn't really want to do her harm - she was Order and misguided and foolish, and also an Eternal Senshi. Her only mistake was not letting him get to Damocles, and for that to be rectified he needed her either off her feet or just generally out of his way.
He held out his hands. "Tease!" He declared, and the bright illusory apple formed. He threw it as hard as he could, past Europa.
Penthesilea was probably not what would generally be called "cautious." In fact, she was rather the opposite. So even though her previous tanglings with thosese more powerful than her had gone generally south, the redheaded Senshi saw absolutey no reason not to intercept a certain blond Dark Mirror, putting herself physically between him and his goal via a shoulder aimed at his chest.
Natron was not expecting to be attacked from behind, and so the General was definitely not perepared for the noose around his neck. He snapped a booted foot backwards, one hand scrambling to get purchase on the rope and pull it away. "Let me go," he growled, as the other snapped backwards with the grip of his kusarigama, aiming for any tender fleshy bits on his assailant.

Sailor Scout Attack: Tease! Sailor Tantalus holds out his hands and speaks the name of the attack, and an illusory apple forms in his hands. He offers it to one enemy, and then throws it. They will always roll away from Tantalus, and the target finds the compulsion to play fetch-the-apple almost...irresistible. They will never quite be able to actually catch the apple - if they get close, it will start rolling again. This compulsion lasts for twenty seconds. Sailor Tantalus can use this attack twice per battle.

The more time she had to consider what she'd gotten herself into, the more Ganymede had to admit to herself it was probably a terrible idea.
Not that the plan hadn't worked. It had. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that she'd willingly put herself into this situation without really thinking about it. She agreed on a whim and stuck by her decision out of a sense of loyalty to her teammates, but now that the moment was here she was having a hard time justifying the outcome. She remember a similar circumstance nearly two years ago, though instead of the Dark Mirror Court playing the victims it had been she and her allies stuck in the crossfire.
Ganymede didn't feel any better about the situation now that she was on the other side of it, truth be told. If anything she felt rather disappointed in herself for condoning it.
Still, it was interesting to observe the scene from her position up in the rafters. Her first glimpse of Leto was markedly unimpressive, and none of the rest of the Dark Mirror Senshi looked terribly threatening, not the way the Negaverse did with their blades and bloodlust. Were they really a threat? They didn't seem to be from her angle.
While many of the others descended from their perch, Ganymede remained up in the rafters long enough to make a strategic survey of the warehouse and those that now populated it. She'd leave Leto to those with more of a personal stake in the matter and made little effort to seek her out in the chaos. Instead her eyes settled on a vaguely familiar figure in black, green, purple, and gold.
Well, she'd said she'd give getting in Remarque's way a shot. Didn't mean she really had to like it.
Rolling her eyes at the predicament, Ganymede scaled along the rafters and attempted to follow Remarque's path from above, seeking a good spot from which to jump. Which only lead her closer to the object of her deepest disgust. Bischofite.
“Dann shawarma Regina does land uber-sweaty,” she mocked him. “Care to repeat that in English?”

I had to make sure I quoted the right name. :< BUT HI ILU! <3
Europa had her fair share of experience with senshi magic - especially senshi magic that caused hallucinations. So when she saw the apple and felt the compulsion to chase it, she bit the inside of her cheek and thought, very stubbornly to herself, Don't you dare chase that ******** apple, Europa.
And then, spinning on her heels, she chased the ******** apple.
This was not really miserable, she thought, following the illusory piece of fruit away from Tantalus. It was just obnoxious. But whatever. Maybe she'd catch up with him later. Or something.
Or go kill Leto. Yeah. That sounded like a good plan. Just as soon as she caught this goddamn apple.
