Well, not to be different, I'll tell about myself a little bit too. smile As probably some of you already know, I'm Polish. I'm 18 years old and totally obsessed with art. I'm planning to study History of Art at Oxford University. I live near Warsaw, in a small town built only with villas and big houses (no, I do not imply, that my "material" status is, hm, high. neutral ), called Józefosław (don't even try to read this wink ). I live with my parents and a cat, Leo. I'm now in my final year of high school. I'm very stressed, mainly because of a Polish language exam. It's always the hardest bit even though, we all speak Polish. wink Hmm...what else, what else...ah well. If anyone is curious about some facts connected with me, personally, or just with life in Polnad, just ask through a PM or here, on forum. smile Nice to meet you all. wink Oh, finally, I found quite "normal" picture of me:

Buh. Let's go conformist with this one... ~I'm 19 (or close enough... in Sept) ~I live in Madison, WI. "[some number] square miles surrounded by reality." It's really true. ~In a month I'll live in Oberlin, OH. Which is another town living in its own little bubble. ~Socially, I'm akward and self-conscious. Interaction is not my friend. ~Dunno where that pic of me went... I'm tallish, with long brown hair and a Germanic figure. Like anyone cares xp ~Arguments (er, debates) are fun. ~I'm a Pythonite, an X-Phile, and a Cowboy Bebop fanatic. ~Blatant stupidity irritates me. xp ~I'm a flaming liberal hippie.
EDIT: dur... name! 'M name's Ann/Anna/variants thereof. No one seems to be sure, myself least of all.

Meh. I didn't bother creating a surname for myself. I figure if one of those 'internet predators' they're always warning us about is going to waste his time hunting me down... kudos to him.
That's the same way I feel about locking my second-floor apartment sliding door. If a burglar has the gumption to endure a vertical 30-foot scaling of my drainpipe then hurdle himself over the railing onto my deck; my glass sliding door isn't going to stop him.
That's it. If you really wanted to know more, then you'd PM me asking - otherwise I'm just wasting both of our time.

I have short hair now. domokun I'm 5'2," haven't grown in about five years. In case you couldn't tell, I love weird makeup. whee Yes, half of my eyebrows are fake. xd
I normally wear glasses, but they seem to not be in those pictures. spooky. surprised
My real name is Emma (although most people call me Rayna. It's a long and boring story.), and I live in a dreaded little country town in Massachusetts (although I lived in New Jersey for most of my life, which explains quite a few things). I'm currently 15 (I'll turn 16 in November).
My interests include silent film actors and actresses, bad horror movies, french movies, and generally strange movies. As far as music goes, I like bands from almost every genre (excepting rap and country, which i abhor xp ). A few titles in my CD collection are as follows: Bauhaus - "The Sky's Gone Out," Dead Kennedys - "Give me Convenience or Give me Death," Tchaikovsky - "Swan Lake," Garbage - "Beautiful Garbage," Unto Ashes - "Saturn Return," and Voltaire - "Almost Human." Chances are that if I'm online, i will be listening to this.
As far as reading goes, I've been fascinated by Japanese fiction lately. I read "Battle Royale" and enjoyed it mightily, and have been absorbed in authors like Haruki Murakami ever since. Other than that, I enjoy horror, science fiction, and the occasional comedy. My all-time favorite authors are Spider Robinson, Terry Pratchett, and Neil Gaiman. domokun
Random Facts -My first few months on Gaia were spent much the same as [Violet]'s. -I sew most of my own clothing and embellish others' clothing for them. domokun -I knit very nice scarves. whee -I can't cook to save my life, unless I'm baking cookies. -I'm a Starbucks addict. gonk (tall toffee nut latte with caramel syrup and whipped cream! >:O) -I have four cats, two of which could be easily mistaken for rotten loaves of bread. -When I moved, I completely forgot how to play piano. (I had played for about six years.) sad -I enjoy some animes terribly, especially Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, and Pet Shop of Horrors. whee -I LOVE 'The Simpsons.' i am practically obsessed with it. gonk

Yeah, my name is Sean, but I frequently go by Arny. The story behind the nickname is funny, but better if told in person, so I won't include that here. I'm 5'10", and if you really care what I look like, you can see at the bottom of my post. I'm 18 and finally graduated high school, putting my brainwashed English skills to use on Gaia. After this summer, I'm leaving for naval Boot Camp in September to do something constructive with my life. In my spare time... I can't live without music. I recently bought an mp3 player and haven't been able to put it down since. If you want to know what kind of music I like, then feel free to PM and ask. It's a bit of a list. Aside from that, I doodle quite a bit and make an attempt at the anime style. You can see various pieces by clicking on my WWW button, which takes you to my deviantART account. Comments and critiques are always welcome. I also write short stories, which are fun, and has led me to frequenting the Writer's Contests area of the site. I read fantasy and science fiction novels, Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" series and Orson Scott Card's "Ender's Game" series being favourites of mine. Also, before any of you tell me that I spell some things wrong, it is done on purpose, because I like the way Europeans and others add the letter "u" into certain words, like colour. That, and because it irritated my English teachers. I'm not very good when it comes to introducing myself, so I suppose I'll just give you my picture and leave. It was taken the day of graduation, so it is fairly recent and was also an excuse to wear a tie. PhotoBucket made it look much shinier than the way it scanned in, so it looks a little funny, but acceptable.

I'm almost 14, going into grade 9 in a small little town in between Alberta and Saskatchewan wink . I'll bet no one gets that. Anyway, I've an annoying little sister and I'm obsessed with music . . . its' like my life. I especially like Linkin Park, Lostprophets, NoFX, Savage Garden, Yellowcard, Offspring and Billy Talent. . . the list goes on and on. My friend Chelsy got me hooked on Gaia almost a month ago. Maybe it has been a month now. I'm not sure. And for anyone who don't know, Alberta and Saskatchewan are in Canada. It's surprising how many people didn't know that they're provinces lol. I'll stop rambling now blaugh Oh and my real name is Brittany. In real life I'm called Britt (except by chelsy who calls me Cera) and online I'm called Cera. Don't ask... And here's me:

Hello! My name is LiaFairyle on Gaia, but it's HanyaanFaery everywhere else, and of course people who know me in real life call me Diana (since it IS my real name.) I'm 17 years old and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. (Which is important, because Gaia is based within a hour-and-a-half drive of my house.) I normally hang out in Conventions, because it's confession time: I'm a cosplayer. Yes. I participate in the geekiest hobby of all time. I love sewing, I love anime, and costume-making is my greatest passion. (I hope to become a theater costumer when I finally get a career; in the meantime, I'm practicing costuming by cosplaying.) I am quite an anime fan. My favorite anime are Fullmetal Alchemist, Slayers, Matantei Loki Ragnarok, and Omishi Magical Theater Risky Safety. I love CLAMP, yes, but I am definitely not one of those "OMG LOL INUYAHSA" anime fangirls. (I fangirl not over bishounen, but over a bishounen's costume.) Speaking of fangirls, seeing as how I crossplay (crossdressing cosplay, AKA cosplaying as the opposite gender) a lot, and I tend to crossplay as well-loved characters, I get attacked by fangirls in real life. They are scary, and their grammar and spelling are normally appalling. Here's a picture of me NOT in costume, in link form because I haven't gotten around to resizing it: Me out of costume, before I cut my hairPictures of me in costume (come on, you know you want to see them—just kidding!) are located here and here. Bonus points to anyone else besides me who uses a Mac running OS X.

LiaFairyle I participate in the geekiest hobby of all time. I don't know about that. I'm a LARPer (http://www.nerolarp.com,) which is sort of like cosplay (except I'm costuming up as a character *I* have created) and D&D combined. eek *thumbsup*
