Okay enough playing with the cleaver. His team was making some awful puns, which he was trying to ignore, but that didn't mean they didn't deserve a bit of protection. Nodding in approval at the Sentry's decision to protect and heal their heavy hitter, she gave him a light pat on the head, "Lucky us we got you watching our backs, cutie~" Joy winked at him. Although with only one good eye it was more of a blink.
Without another word, she lunged for the boss, trying to keep up with the damage count. Raze's words cause a warm burst of pride to fill him. There are better fighters out there in this dream-game (FrostPaw), but he thinks he's learned the system and performs well. It's nice to hear, though. He can't help but still value himself on his fighting abilities. This might not be 'real', but it's nice to be considered skill. "Two parts experience to one part luck," he grins at Raze. It's true - the card system isn't always nice to him. Like now. He grimaces and activates Berserk to finish off the boss. "Ain't that the truth," Joy knows how it feels to have drawn terrible cards in this game. It's more frustrating than actually losing in a real fight, the kind with fists and faces and blood and bruises. It lacked the personal touch and that lovely little high of pain buuuuut her party members didn't need to know that. Activating Pierce together with Berserk, the Gryphon goes to town on the boss.

Why give up on a good thing?
