Natsu grinned as Finnley spoke and immediately turned to Viveka with a squeal.
"She said yes!" He exclaimed, in case his lover somehow didn't hear it for himself. "We're going to be a big, happy family, just like the one I was raised in! Uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, all in a row! This is going to be wonderful!"
However, as he continued to squeal happily, a sudden realization came over him, something that happened quite frequently for him. He paused, pursed his lips a little, and tapped Viveka's shoulder.
"Uhm... Which one of us is going to be the father?" He asked, blinking. "Only one of us can be, you know..."

"I know this is all so much for you, but..." He began, blushing. "Who would you prefer of us to... Be the biological father? Don't feel any obligation to pick either one of us, it's completely up to you!"

Natsu's excitement startled even Finnley as she jumped slightly but held a smile on her face. She smiled because she knew that her decision to help these two could make Natsu that happy, it was an amazing gift that she would be able to give them. She wasn't naive enough to not know that it was a long road ahead of them, but she was willing to do it for them.
As Natsu and Viveka posed the next problem, her face turned beat red. "I-I I um. H-how a-about w-we get to know each other and then we decide?" Finnley proposed to the couple. She didn't know either of them well enough to make a good decision on it. Finn knew who she was automatically more drawn to but didn't want to make the decision based solely on that.

Natsu leaned against Viveka as Finnley spoke and pursed his lips. Getting more information about each other would certainly help with making a uniform decision, wouldn't it? He leaned forward, placed his hand on his chin, and smirked.
"Well, I'm a Bard, and I like to swim!" He exclaimed. "I also like to take hikes, bother my brothers, and nap by the shore. I suppose you could say I'm creative and laid back."

"I'm hoping to become a sculptor, like my late mother was." He finally replied. "The works she left to me have always been an inspiration to me and I aspire to be as good as she was one day." He paused, his shoulders arching a little. "...Though I'm not the most confident in that ideal, either."

The two guys were so creative! One was a bard and the other a sculptor. They also seemed very caring and creative and caring was definitely something she liked. "You would probably like m-my Dad, Viveka! He's a tr-treasure hunter and he's f-found a lot of statue things. A-and my little s-sister would like to hear you sing sometime Natsu...so w-would I." She said with a slight blush on her face. "I have two twin brothers a-and one sister. H-how many brothers do you have Natsu?" Finnley wondered what she could say to help them get to know her. "Well...I like to help people...and I aspire to be a h-healer but I'm w-worried I won't be able to remember e-everything I need to..." It was something Finnley was working on slowly but surely. "That is s-so neat that you're following in your m-mother's footsteps!" She thought that was super sweet of Viveka.

"I have an older half-brother and..." Natsu paused, looking to Viveka. "Viveka's half-brother, Rastian, lives with us, and my parents consider him a son, too. It's interesting."
Then, he grinned.
"Oooh! What sort of songs does she like?" He exclaimed. "I can sing her anything, just give me a few bars!"

Viveka blushed and gazed to the side. Yeah, he was following her footsteps, but it was more like he was crawling after her. He thanked Finnley, mentally, for her compliment, though.
"Do you think he would mind if I took a look at them one day? For references?" He asked. "I'm not nearly as good as my mother was yet, so, any practice I can get is good."
At the mentioning of Rastian, a smile grew on his face.
"Yes! Rastian's a Monk, too!" He exclaimed. "Maybe he could teach you a few things! He is seeing a Shifter girl, to my knowledge, maybe you'll run into him!"

"That's r-really neat and k-kind of your parents! Having siblings is r-really nice. I l-love mine s-so much." Finnley thought back to her family at home. "My f-father would d-deffinitely let you see them!" She said happily. Her parents were very kind people, an odd couple, but generous without fault. "I-I would appreciate any help! L-let me think of one of h-her songs..."It would be difficult for Finnley to sing since she didn't really have the aptitude for it and with her stutter, but if Natsu wanted to hear one she would sing one! Natsu listened Finnley as she sang and grinned. Sure, she wasn't the best singer, but at least she was willing to try! Most people were embarrassed when he requested a few bars like that and refused, so it was nice to know that Finnley was willing to try.
"That's a lovely melody!" He said, tapping his leg to the beat. "How old is she? Would she be up to singing along with me?"

"Siblings a gift, I agree." Viveka agreed. "Rastian and I were best friends before we found out that we had the same father. It was the best day of my life!"
He scooted closer to Natsu and listened to Finnley sing, a soft smile on his face.
"You have a lovely voice, Finnley." He said. "Maybe you should sing with Natsu sometime!"

Finnley's face was quite red after she finished singing the first portion of her sister's favorite song. It was one thing singing it to her sister and another to sing to a bard and sculptor. "M-my sister is only four but she's v-very grown up! I'm sure she'd l-love to sing with you i-if she could keep up. O-or even j-just listen to you!" If it was even possible, Finn's face got even more red with Viveka's compliment. "I-I don't know about that...b-but th-thank you." She said, hesitantly reaching out and touching his knee appreciatively. "That's g-great about your brother Viveka!" It would be odd to think of your best friend becoming your brother but at least that would mean they got along!

Only four? Natsu's heart melted. He loved little kids, they were so cute!
"Awww! I remember when my nephew was four!" He exclaimed, laughing. "He was such a terror! Biting people, kicking sand, running away from the village. He's seventeen now and already a guard, it's amazing how fast they grow up."
He chuckled at Viveka's comment and nodded.
"Of course you could!" He said, blushing. "I'm sure we could make some beautiful music together!"

"Natsu!" Viveka exclaimed, blushing. He swatted Natsu's shoulder playfully and shook his head. Really, Natsu could be so crass when he wanted to be, it was like an illness. He rolled his eyes and gave Finnley a smile.
"I'm sure all three of us could be a band of our own color!" He said, giggling. "We just need some time to think all of it over. No need to rush things, right?"

"Little ones are s-so cute." Finnley agreed with Natsu and laughed along with him when he was talking about his nephew. Natsu's blush was so endearing, as was his comment, even though it made her face hot even though she hadn't heard it as the 'crass' comment Vveka had taken it as and swatted him for. "If you'd l-like...I'm s-sure you could teach me too!" She said with a smile and then giggled along with Viveka. "Right! I...I feel so c-comfortable around y-you two. I still w-would like to help you two and be your s-surrogate. But we can f-figure things out later." The smile was still on her face. And little did she know how happy she would be being able to help these two and some day, bring little ones into this world for them.
