Well, right now we've only got a few RPs taking players but we do have a few.
If you like some Sci-fi-ish Fantasy (kind of reminds me of Final Fantasy 7) we've got
Divided we Fall. The land of Surga is torn by a war for vengeance, land, power, and survival. Spurred to greater destruction with genetically enhanced warriors, will any of the three Kingdoms survive? Come jump on in and fight for your Ruler of your choosing.
If you're into the more traditional Sci-fi we have
reGENesis. The Earth has become uninhabitable so humanity is taking to the stars to find a new home. Join the crew or play one of the civilian passengers of one of the seed ships setting off for adventure.
For a more traditional Fantasy game we've got
Eyes. An Evil Wizard and his Dark Alliance are building an army to take over the world and all that stands in their way are the Four Heroes of legend, champions of goodness and justice. There's still one Hero left needing a player and the evil wizard needs some companions so come check it out to help decide the fate of the world.
And if you're looking for something different you should check out
Elsewhere: In the Land of Lost Things. Elsewhere is a story about getting lost and finding Destiny but mostly it's a character showcase where you can revive your favorite characters from past RPs and put them into play again. The setting is an eclectic steampunk/fantasy/sci-fi universe with genre bending tendencies where lost things randomly drop in from anywhere and anywhen.
Outside of those we have a few walk-in RPs from our holiday events and are in the process of planning another for our 10 Year Anniversary, all done in a school setting on the SDRP's Academy campus.
We've also got a few possible RP ideas kicking around but haven't launched those yet. Let us know if any strikes your fancy:
Two big ideas:
- A zombie survival game where players must fight or think their way out of bad situations in a world gone to hell.
- A steampunk/supernatural adventure where players are members of a 19th century X-files division investigating paranormal activity in a mostly historical setting.
Several small ones:
- A traveling circus where players can be visiting patrons or part of the troop with shows and rigged games a plenty.
- Open mic night at a bar or talent show at a school so the characters can get up and do bad comedy, poetry, or storytelling, whatever they like, while the others heckle them mercilessly.
- A costume party where players can come up with outlandish character designs and costumes, possibly have an avi contest, and just hang out.
- A casino where players can try their luck at the in game gambling (probably make use of some form of rolling system) or just hang out and watch the shows.
- A treasure hunt where players follow clues to find more clues which eventually lead to some sort of hidden treasure.
