 "True, nobles and royals are same as commoners except we don't have gifts" Avery said with a soft smile as he was still confused how royals would have such powers. "I'm actually staying at a hotel until I the school finds me a place to stay permanently well I'm attending school." He said before he took a sip of his tea.

 Sylvia sighed. "Hotels are so overpriced for such mediocre rooms... Hey! I have an extra bedroom here. Would you like to stay here? Free of charge!" She smiled sweetly. "Buuuuuuttt.... theres one condition to this agreement if you decide to take me up on my offer." She bit her lip and fidgeted her fingers behind her back nervously.

Avery lifted his eyebrow well he took a sip another sip of his tea when Sylvia offered him to live with her. "What is this one condition, also you do know I'm a guy right?" He said with a smirk found it a bit strange a girl was so willing she share her apartment with a guy she just met.

"I... I uh... I want you to be my guardian." Sylvia looked down. "Don't ask me why, but somehow I have this connection towards you. And when you were so eager to help me I just knew that you'd be my guardian." She took his hand gently. "So will you be my guardian and protect me and in return accept my abilities that will be shared?"

Avery paused for a moment when he heard Sylvia ask him if he would be her guardian. "....I would be honored to be your guardian. " He said with a soft smile as he felt her soft hand hold his gently. "But aren't you asking a little too soon you don't even know if I can fight or protect you."

"You said yourself that you trained in the military, so I know you're able. You also showed your readiness to help and protect me so I know you're willing." Sylvia smiled. "Besides... fighting can be taught. You can't teach someone to want to protect others. It's an individual desire.A desire that you've shown that you possess through your military service and bandaging my hand."

"True....But your putting a lot of faith in me. Bandaging your burn is a lot different from.....having the will to protect you from a assassin " Avery said with a warm smile as he was drawn back to her beautiful eyes. "What kind of gift do you have? If you don't mind me asking?" He asked curiously.

"Ah! I love answering this question. Well Avery my personal gift is Astral Projection.I am able to assume the existence of an "astral body" separate from my physical body and I am capable of traveling outside it. It's very interesting to do. However, the gift i offer you is different.The power I offer is premonition, the ability to see and experience events from the past, present, and future-although this ability needs to be developed. I also offer the power of teleportation, however one can not be guaranteed the location of which you teleport unless this ability is nurtured. Which is something you'll have to train with. I have several books on the matter if you are interested." Sylvia smiled and shyly let go of his hand as she realized that she was still holding it. "Oh dear, it seems as if I've forgotten one important aspect of the bargain... The Blood Bond"

Avery took a sip of his tea as he listened to Sylvia tell him about the gift she had and what kind of powers he would get from for being her guardian. "I see, interesting...So for a example if I were in a fight could I see what my opponents futures moves would be? " He asked he leaned forward in his chair a little interested to hear what she would say. "I'm more interest reading up on how to use my gifts seems like a good idea. With my luck I would probably teleport between a wall if I don't know what I'm doing. " He said with a faint chuckle before tilting his head to the side. "Blood bond?"

"You really did come here without knowing anything about the way we do things huh? Well the Royals are those who's blood is sacred and holds magical abilities, though the full potential of this blood cannot be unlocked by the Nobles themselves. Which you should already know. Instead, the Nobles have Blood Guardians, a type of body guard who is able to drink from the Nobles blood and unlock the full potential of the sacred blood. Which is what you are- or will be for that matter. So in short, you must drink my blood in order to become my blood guardian and attain my abilities." She chuckled. "And I think there are some loopholes to premonitions that are in one of my books."

"Yeah....I thought nobles were just normal people who are elitist snobs who refuse to abandon their throne because they think its their right.....No offence. I had no idea anyone had powers like that. " Avery said before he rubbed his head nervously for calling noble elitist snobs. "Drink your blood?.....If that is what you want me to do, I'll do it. " He said with a faint smile as this was starting to sound weirder ever minute.

Sylvia raised her eyebrow. "You look confused about the whole blood thing. Avery, are you not at least half vampire to your knowledge? That's what allows you to receive my power." Sylvia looked concerned from the fact that either he didn't know he was a half-vampire or if he wasn't one at all and that the Academy made a mistake in bringing him here. She bit her lip nervously.

"Sorry....I am a half vampire....It just I've never drank blood from a living person before...."Avery said fiddled with his hands a little knowing that sounded a bit embarrassing. He never moved up from drinking from blood bags, we'll other Vampires moved onto living prey.

Avery thought about her offer for a few second before letting out a faint sigh. "No its fine I can't just stick to blood packs my whole life. I'll drink directly from you." He said as he held her hand and gave her a soft smile. "Just tell me when you're ready."
