She blinked, and in all honesty waited for him to return. First a few seconds...then a minute. "Hey." She was still scowling.
It wasn't like she'd tried to come of as angry, she was just... annoyed by him having an advantage over her, and not equaling things. She had been hoping he
would give her something other clue about who he was. Instead he'd just looked sad before apologizing.
And leaving. "Hey, come back."
A glance around the table turned up nothing, certainly not a sulking Cheshire.
"Fine. Thanks for your help!" She made sure to yell it.
"Come on, Sevs." The hare was scooped up and cuddled. "He must not have been a friend. Not an enemy, but not a friend." Surely not. A friend would have shared their name and hung around. "But I'm certain Jake is around here somewhere, if other people from the Island are." The macaron memory was still weighing heavily in her mind; she hoped she'd find him soon. A hug would be nice.
